Why does the Lead Azelf set in the analysis need a 28 Sp. Def IV? Just curious, as I have a 28 Sp. Def shiny Naive spread I could get...
 
hello everybody

first, I am sorry for my English, I am French and I don't speak English

well, I play pokémon since yellow and I made tournaments in 386 mode and since few moths I am trying to make teams for my Diamond (I'm waiting for Platinium too)

I have my own which is not very good (for the moment) but I love the eeveelutions (in French we say "évolitions" because eevee in French it's évoli so I think the same word exists) and I always wanted to have a team with them but I hesitate for the 6 pokémon (because they are 7) although the strategy pokédex helped me a lot. so I have many questions to you.

_ for Jolteon : is the Agility-passer's moveset still a good moveset ?

_ for Umbreon : is the Wishpasser's moveset still a good moveset ?

_ for Vaporeon and Umbreon : why don't you put 252 ev in Déf, 525 ev in SpD and 6 ev in PV ? for instance the Vaporeon (Bold) I would make has 402 pv, 240 in Déf, 289 in SpD and Umbreon (Careful) has 332 PV, 319 in Déf, 394. I think it's wonderful !

_ for Espeon : why in your movesets Espeon is Timid. with Modest (394 in SpA !!!), it makes more damages ? and is grass knot a good option in a sweeper moveset ?

_ for Glaceon : what you think about my LifeOrber moveset :

You want to fix up some of your typos. For example:

I'm guessing PV translates into HP, but you can't put 525 EVs into special defence. The same applies to Flareon's 525 EVs in attack on the choice band set.

Still, I can answer some questions:

Umbreon's best moveset in my opinion is the Curse moveset, but Wish pass is still viable.

Jolteon's passing abilities are better suited to sub passes in my opinion, but I don't have much experience using Jolteon so agility passing might work.

Espeon needs Timid nature to outspeed certain threats like Timid Mismagius.

If during a team battle, the opponent attacks and they get disabled and encored, will they be forced to either switch or struggle?
 
@stk502: That vaporeon ev spred is perfectly viable. It's the one I use most often, at least.

Also, agility pass jolteon is still good (although I would probably pass substitutes instead). Though if you're restricting your entire team to eeveelutions, I'm not sure what you'd pass too.

Timid on Espeon is because speed is more important for the sweeper sets. If you can't outspeed the opponent, then it doesn't matter how much damage you would have done.

I can't really speak to the other eeveelutions, don't have any exprience with them.

So I bought the Action Replay recently, and I have to ask: Is the Quick Egg Hatch cheat glitched? Because I was trying to hatch a Bagon, and had a Magcargo in my party. With that combination, said Bagon egg would normally hatch in 5,355 steps. But the egg hatched in 58-something steps, which is more than 5,355. I thought that cheat would make the egg hatch in no time, not make it take longer. =\ Did I mess something up?

Lol, it depends on your definition of "good." Even with Hustle and 100% accurate Blizzard, he's not going to be doing much with his 55 base Attack, and 65 base Sp. Attack. I do have to commend you on your persistence in using only Ice-types, though.
 
Is the platinum pick up list the same as it was in d/p, it doesn't say on the list on serebii, and i was curious if its the same list, as i know it changed from r/s --> e, just wondering if it was the same case
 
if you psych up a pokemon with unaware do you gain the normal amount or double the amount? also conversely if you baton pass stat ups from unaware do they pass normal or double?

Both answers are normal, but in the first your star boost will be ignored, are you confusing unaware with another ability, because unaware ignores stat boosts, it doesn't double them.

Simple doubles them, and in that case both answers would be double.
 
Hi, I just wanted to ask, does Counter work if you're behind a sub? For example if Blissey used Counter while it was behind a sub and got hit with a Close Combat (a breaks the sub), would Counter still hit the opponent for 2x damage?
