hee hee! yeah! frail sweepers!

I just don't understand though because I was running 2 starter sweepers with speeds of 170 and 166 and I outpaced all but 1 poke in like 30-40 random battles on PBR on Saturday. Then I changed my 2 leads for pokes with 161 and 160 for speeds to get better move type coverage and I get out paced and clobbered almost every time in like 30-40 games in a row. there's only a difference of like 9 and 5 points respectively, and the enemy pokes were not using quick claws or choice scarfs?!?!

I could understand if like a handful of teams with like Dugtrios, Swellows, and Persians or something were outspeeding me, but it was like Qwillfishes and stuff on ALMOST EVERY TEAM?!?!?!

I'm familiar with the speed ranking of almost all the pokemon Arcanine and up....

Could I have trained them wrong? I don't think so. They were already in the top like 14 speed ranking. I only fought 255 gastlys for SAtk EVs and 255 Zubats for Speed EVs and I got the Effort Badge on all of them right after that, so the EVs should be maxed. They all have good +speed natures and 30s-31s in Speed IVs.

Is there anything else to speed them up aside of Choice Scarf and that Speed Berry that activates when your health is low? Why am I still being outpaced?!?!?!

crap. just took another look at the speed list again. my bad. Thought Salamence and Zapdos and the like were a tad slower. crap. back to the old way again :/ sigh. oh well.

Still. Any other ways than what I've done to increase speed?
 
I can't find the RMT subforum anymore.. if it still exitsts, can someone please link to me? If it doesn't exist where do we post RMT's now?

Um....breed new ones and start over giving them more evs in speed before they hit level 50. =/

Or, though I don't know what pokes or strategy you're using so I don't know whether it would work on them, you could teach them agility or rock polish, etc.

There has not been an event for arceus has there? There would be no way to obtain it without hacks?
 
Does Trick work on a Pokemon with Sticky Hold?

EDIT: bUBER, to get Max +, the Pokemon in question has to have a flawless 31 IV and 252 EVs in a certain stat.

The Max+ stat assumes a perfect 31 IV, 252 EVs, and a boosting nature.

No, there hasn't been any event to legally obtain arceus outside of Japan. I suppose you could always look for one in a trade, but good luck finding some japanese dude willing to give up a legit arceus.
 
Go onto the synirc website, select "Chat with us", select the web interface, then type in a name for yourself and #stark as your server and you should be good!
 
I do wonder how Unown breeding works, I'm not sure if anyone would know cause Unown is like NEVER bred but I am curious...

Does the baby turn into the letter of the parent Unown or just a random one?

This is assuming Unown can breed which I *think* it can...

I was going to breed one to remember my old best friend thingy in Year 6 which feels like 20 years ago...he had a Lv87 or something Unown in Silver XD

You know, after I complete the main game once I'll restart(send my Pokes to plat) and do an only Unown runthrough XD

Can anyone give me some main Pokemon in GSC? Like Ampharos because of the lighthouse thing.
 
If by main lokemon you mean part of the storyline, like the lighthouse ampharos(uncatchable) then I guess there'd be Gyarados, Suicune, Raikou, Entei, Lugia/Ho-oh and Sudowoodo.

Well, you can't really say. Yes, Scizor was OU(I believe) before the platinum changes. However, there is no way to say whether or not it would still be without it, since we have an entirely different metagame.

This is all moot, unless nintendo plans to removes bullet punch from Scizor's moveset, or we ban it from having Bullet Punch and both of these are extremely unlikely.
 
I was wondering if there were any fast methods other than action replay to get a metal coat. I already used the one up in the story mode and I'm finding hundreds of bronzors using shppets frisk and 2 other pokemon with compound eyes but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Would a Blizzard/Aerial Ace/Ice Shard/Roost Articuno be usable? Also, Icy Wind on the defensive sets to abuse Roost and force switches?

Neither Aerial Ace nor Ice shard does enough to be useful coming from an 85 attack stat.

Icy Wind also does too little to be worth using over Ice Beam or Blizzard. Lowering someone's speed can let you outspeed them to Roost away some weaknesses, but it's not really going to cause that many switches and it requires you to spend turns attacking with it.
