The satisfaction of besting the most frustrating place in Pokemon, and maybe a star on your Trainer Card (for gold).Do you get any kind of reward if you manage to get all silver and/or gold prints in the battle frontier?
That's it?? Maybe I should reconsider to build a team specificly to beat the frontier. The satisfaction of besting the most frustrating place in Pokemon, and maybe a star on your Trainer Card (for gold).
Well, you'd have earned 200 BP from only beating the Frontier Brains themselves. XDThat's it?? Maybe I should reconsider to build a team specificly to beat the frontier.
I gathered from a few faqs already, and it would seem it is still 100 straight hax tower wins for the last star...The satisfaction of besting the most frustrating place in Pokemon, and maybe a star on your Trainer Card (for gold).
Well anything works in game but you should probably get Starly and Bidoof in the beginning. Starly can use Fly and when Bidoof evolves into Bibarel he makes a great HM Slave.Hm, I just started a new game, what should I make my team in the beggining?
(I picked Chimchar as my starter.)
I recommend you save a slot for Gible, considering you can get it pretty early in the game...Hm, I just started a new game, what should I make my team in the beggining?

Thanks! My Adamant Ho-oh only has a 30 IV in Speed. Instead of the 252 Speed EVs for the standard CB set, should I just allocate 28 EVs to Speed to reach a stat of 222 and outrun Adamant Tyranitar, then pump the rest of those into HP (and keep 252 in Attack, of course), as mentioned in the analysis? This does put my HP at an odd number (401) for Stealth Rock switch-ins.
For reference, my IVs are: 22/22/19/28/1/30. I know it's not the best spread (nice SDef, huh?), but my only MysticTicket (legit!) was on FR, not Emerald, so no easy RNG abuse (plus I SRed for it before the Emerald RNG abuse was public knowledge among the competitive community).
Individual values. They are set in stone on pokemon. They provide a boost in each stat from 0-31. A more in depth explanation can be found here

Yes, speed should always be the prioritized stat when trying to make up for IVs (in Speed 1 point can make a difference, elsewhere it's pretty minimal). Do you plan on giving up Thunder as well? If not, 56 in Special Attack and rest in HP (you'll still have an odd number). My Adamant Ho-oh only has a 30 IV in Speed. On wifi it's harder to get effective pokemon and come up with instant changes to problems that occur. In terms of opponent quality, there's more not-so-good than good on Shoddy for the most part, while they're also easier to find. So I'm going to say Shoddy.Overall, is battling on Wi-fi easier or harder than battling on Shoddy? (i.e) Is it "easier" to win on wi-fi or harder? I know there are a lot of factors and everything, but please give your most accurate answer.

That will register your nick, allowing you to join #smogon and #stark.
(This is covered in the IRC tutorials, BTW.)
Focus Sash won't activate if you use explosion.I was looking for an useful TWaver with a strong fire move for my 3vs3 team. This is the best I tought:
![]()
Azelf@ Focus Sash
Timid/Hasty, 252Sp.Atk/Spd/6HP
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
- Thunder Wave
- Nasty Plot/Explosion
Psychic is STAB and adds coverage, Flamethrower and Thunder Wave are useful and help with team coverage/support. I'm particularly in doubt about the last moveslot.
Considering a 3vs3 single metagame, Nasty Plot seems better due to Focus Sash, meaning Azelf can attempt to sweep itself if the opponent is handlable.
Explosion, in other hand, is self explanatory and even more useful with Focus Sash. However, Paralysing or weakening an opponent before Focus Sash activates to Explode later seems foolish, making Nasty Plot set up more tempting. Though Explosion gets rid of uncommom special walls (it's a 3vs3 metagame, I can't stress it enough).
Both sounds excellent. What do you think?
Thank you so much for that. I'm almost connected, but where the fuck do you register your nickname or "identify with network services"?@ Peachfuzz
I don't use a Mac but I did some googling and this is apparently a native IRC program for Macs: http://colloquy.info/ so it should work nicely.
Please just post that team in the RMT section and ask for rates. Nobody's going to build your team for you, and we don't even know the movesets for the Pokemon you listed.I need a team wich can destroy this team:
Lead: Jirachi
Dugtrio
Skarmory
Heatran
Tentacruel
Latias
Anyone can help me, please?
If you're playing Platinum, just go to Bebe's house in Hearthome city (as she gives you Eevee). If not, reset time to 11:59 walk into a different room/outside then get in and it should change, repeat this until you get Eevee.Ok, I'm having a hard time getting Mr. Backlot to refresh his pokemon of the day.
I time traveled to July 29, 2029 on a RNG project, but he says the last pokemon (Cleffa) is still there. I need him to allow me to reset so Eevee can appear.
I've tried the Pal Park trick but nothing appears to have happened (I will check this in 24 hours real time though, as I have a feeling this will let me do it). However, does anyone else have a tactic that works?
