I would say Rhyperior. Rhyperior with Life Orb is very very close in attack to Marrowak with Thick Club (540 versus 568), plus Rhyperior gets STAB on Stone Edge and access to Megahorn, which hits many ground resists/immunes much harder than 'Wak's Double Edge (notably Claydol, Azelf, Latias, Cresselia, Mesprit, and Uxie). Rhyperior also has much better defenses, allowing it to soak more hits when it cannot OHKO.
When is Mesprit's nature, etc. determined in Platinum?
In fact, when are the natures/shiny status/stats/etc. determined with Cresselia and the legendary birds as well in Platinum?

From what I've read, it appears the natures/IVs are set once you talk to them the first time. So save before you talk and start to chase. Also, the in and out of town method works well for catching them, that's what I used in D/P. Just constantly to route 203? and back to Jubilife.

Question about transferring and abilities that's probably been asked before, but just for clarification: How does transferring certain Pokemon and having their abilities change turn out?
Example: Say I were to PRNG abuse in Emerald and get a Rhyhorn with Rock Head, and evolve it into Rhydon before transferring it to my DS game. If I trade so it becomes a Rhyperior, does its ability have a chance to become Lightningrod, or will it guarenteed become Solid Rock?
