If a pokemon uses Destiny Bond and faints because of Sandstorm,Hail, or other residual damage, does it kill the pokemon currently in?

Nope. The pokemon fainted from the weather / residual damage and not the opponent's attack, so the opponent will still be alive. The same goes for Toxic or WoW.

EDIT: Oh, I'm too slow. :(

Anywho: What are the counters for DDferaligtr? I'm trying to build a team around it..... So I wanna have the counters for it
 
Anyone have a good UU EV spread for Bold Mesprit? I'm on my iPhone, so found damage calcs are extremely inconvenient and battery draining. :P

In UU? Slowbro, Milotic, and Scarf Rotom/Mismagius/Roserade/Venusaur. Those are the main ones.

Most can be taken out by Honchkrow, if you haven't noticed. *wink wink*. I advise a Roserade of your own to beat Milotic.
 
can somebody help me with a mono-steel team i'm trying to make?
i have a HUGE infernape weakness, and a lead with focus sash just swept the whole team 6-0. here's my pokemon:

im currently loving the sub-tran set, and with its flash fire and bronzong's and skarm's ground immunity it helps get rid of some weaknesses..
and it's trying to be "stallish" with SR and spikes

the rest of the members im not sure about..

empoleon for another phazer and a fire neutral
and i was planning for a lategame sweeper with agiligross but i wasnt able to pull it off even once (probably because i had no experience with it before)

please please can anyone help me with the infernape weakness? somebody suggested revenge killing with a bulletpunch or extremespeed lucario.. whwre do i put it?
or cant i just put a scarf to somebody?

also i have some problems with a lead swampert whom i trick a choice band, and it spams waterfall, since my only resist to it is empoleon, which still takes a beating T_T

P.S. i am aware that we are allowed a wild card.. but can you pls first give some viable steel pokemon? that would be highly appreciated ^_^
 
I have a few questions regarding compatibility between D/P and Platinum:

1: Are the Rotom forms usable on Wi-Fi without the use of an AR code?
2: If someone who has Platinum and uses a Rotom form battles someone who uses D/P will the Rotom transform back to the standard form?
 
If a pokemon uses Knock Off and the target is holding Focus Sash/dark-attack-lowering-berry, does the item go into effect or is it knocked off?

Attack reducing berries activate before the move executes so I would assume knock off would have nothing to knock off.

As for focus sash, I'm not sure. It activates after damage and I assume it would have a higher priority over Knock off's effect but I'm not certain. It would have to be one hell of a hit for Knock-Off to have a shot at activating FS however.
 
since the suspect test is finally over, about when will they let us know the results?

Will it be posted in stark or somewhere else?

I checked like an hour ago and the results weren't in at the time. This is bullshit. Garchomp lost by fuckin 3 votes. Something is
wrong people!


Edit: A pokemon such as garchomp should be considered a lot more than on the basis of 44/41. That's pathetic especially on the level of stage 3. iirc, 2/3 majority was voted more than 50/50.

I don't have access to posting in the policy review area since I'm not "qualified", so this was the best area to share my viewpoint. Also, making another useless thread on garchomp would just have it locked and me infracted.
 
Well, you don't need to make a thread about Garchomp, exactly. You could just make a discussion thread(or poll, about the simple majority issue), like the one in PR, that everyone can share their views in.

I think I will since its biased that only some can share their opinions while others are not allowed.

If it's approved, I'll make it in stark obviously.
