why does shoddybattle has the rule "Extended Game" that says about some berries, and arceus, wich can be get and taken into battles(events), but it allows forms of pokemons like rotom, wich to be used need AR?

The Rotom Forms can be obtained in Platinum without AR and can be used in Link battles, I believe. They just can't be used on wi-fi.

Yeah I know it has dependencies, but I need to know like a formula or something to determine if they are illegal for a program I'm writing :) .

I think the move your forgeting is stone edge. And I would remove ice fang for batton pass, which can make for some great plays (like batton passing the agility to a lucario on a predicted ice beam).

ahhh stone edge, thanks missed that move

ill think about baton pass, I might want the coverage with ff or tf though. or even roost

Um, I think this might help.

and um, no it doesn't. there is no agility set there, just swords dance

If when Acid Rain is activated, is it permanent only in that specific battle, or does it continue to affect every battle after its activation?

I don't really know a formula, the only thing I kno is that you can check them on shoddy, just put them there, and it will give suggestions.

The only thing I know is is that navie and lonely cannot get 31 all around.jolly too I think.

What's acid rain?

Can I make an thread in this section....that goes something like....

Code:
Favorite Pokemon of Each Tier

Uber/Suspect:
Reason

OU/BL:
Reason

UU:
Reason

NU:
Reason

NFE:
Reason

Without it getting locked...

Is RNG abuse as hard and stressful as the guide makes it sound? x-x
It takes a fair amount of patience. But much less, and for much better results, than ordinary soft-resetting.

Is there a list of illegal IV spreads?
The LEGAL spreads are those that can be produced by the RNG formula, which is known. I'm not sure if there's any list of illegal spreads. Your best bet would be the Shoddy source code.

I am not a mod, but if your reasons for picking favourites relate to their capabilities in battle then it's probably fine. If your reasons are because of looks or anime episodes, then it'll probably get locked.

Illegal IV spreads? I know that there are some 3rd gen legendaries that can't get all 31s, but that applies to 4th gen Pokemon under certain conditions as well?

Pretty sure it's a one-time deal. I know it is for link battles, as I've utilized it before.

It's the same basic RNG, just seeded and advanced in different ways.

The RNG used has 2^32, which is 4,294,967,295, different 'states'. Each of these states is capable of producing a single 'Method 1' spread, which will cover Nature, IVs, and various other aspects.

However, there are 32^6 * 25 spreads, which is 26,843,545,600. In other words, there are MORE IV/Nature spreads than there are states of the RNG. Therefore, there must be illegal spreads for caught Pokemon (and in fact, the majority of spreads must be illegal).

Does it make a diffrence if i use Rare candies to get a pokemon to level 30 before i begin my ev training does this have a negative effect?
Nope. If you were to EV first then Rare Candy, it would still have the same effect as if you Rare Candied to a level before 100 and then EVed.

Electrode is an excellent rain lead as it possesses the fastest taunt in the tier and can explode after setting up the rain to give a free switch in to one of your rain sweepers.

Ambipom is quite good too. High speed, taunt, and U-turn allow it to fill Electrode's role whilst staying alive. It also has Technician Fake Out, meaning it can take on opposing leads as well.

This may be a really stupid question.
But does Bibarael's ability unaware decrease the stat chages completely? - So when I switch out their stat changes is still 0? Or if I switch out, it's stat changes revert back to what it was?
