I know this isn't enough info, but in a team based around Sp. Defensive Tyranitar + Defensive Gliscor (to abuse sand veil and the fact that they cover for each other quite nicely), what would be a good lead? Right now I'm torn between Taunt/Rocks/Psy/Explosion Azelf and Tyranitar itself with Rocks +3 attacks, but I want to find out what lead can support the duo the best. I'm also considering Roserade for Toxic Spikes support, but I prefer a lead that sets up SRock and/or Spikes (or both).

If you want a lead that sets up both Stealth Rocks and Spikes, try Skarmory. It's a reliable lead and great defensive wall for later in the match if its setting up is done

When the game calculates boosts to stats, are they cumulative? For example, a machamp using the move facade with guts while burned and choice banded. Are the three 50% boosts to attack calculated using the stat before or after the previous boost?

I thought of Skarm, but I'm worried I'm gonna have too much defense in doing so. My Tyranitar already won't hit so hard - unless I give him a Choice Band or so, which isn't bad, and my Gliscor's moveset is going to be 100% support (not even EQ I'm thinking). With Skarmory that's two passive pokés and a Tyranitar that, even if it hits a bit harder, won't be fast enough. I was thinking of a lead Azelf or Infernape, to set SR up and maybe KO 1 pokémon or so. Lead TTar looks good though, because Sandstorm breaks most sashes, although I lose the option to run CB because I really want my lead to set up an entry hazard - I need SStorm + Hazard support for my heavy hitters.

What whould the Skarm moveset look like? Spikes, SRock, Whirlwind and Brave Bird?

Yes.

For example, STAB + Super-effective + Guts Boost = 1.5*2*1.5 = 4.5* boost. All multiplicative bonuses combine.

Actually, in your specific example, I'm not precisely sure how it works, because I'm not certain how the game handles Guts and Choice Band. I'm pretty sure that it just adds a flat 1.5 multiplier for each, but it's possible it treats it as though you have used Meditate (i.e., if you had Guts activated, you'd only be able to get 5 Meditates before your Attack was maxed out). I don't think this is the case, so I think your example would have:

140BP (Facade w/ Status) *1.5 (Guts)*1.5 (CB) = 315BP equivalent.

Gliscor should always have Earthquake to counter Lucario; one of his support moves is always less important. If you're running Stealth Rock elsewhere, then Roost, U-Turn, Taunt/Knock Off, EQ should be his moveset.

How important is U-Turn? There's one move I absolutely want to use that's not among these ^. Either U-Turn or Knock Off/Taunt has to go.

What is the move? In general U-turn is not all that useful on non-lead Gliscor. Also taunt > knock off.

It's not supposed to be EVd in speed (bar to outspeed others without heavy speed investiments) so I don't like Taunt in it. The move is Toxic.

If you are not going to invest in speed, then why use Gliscor. Classic stallbreaker set. 216 speed jolly. EQ/taunt/toxic/roost. This is the one you want. Unless your team checks lucario well enough already, there is little choice about the speed. Many walls are very slow anyway, so taunt still works well. If you don't like it go for Stone Edge.

Sand Veil? I thought it was obvious since I mentioned Tyranitar. I don't mind running more Speed, but I wanted the best physical bulk I could get. At least the nature I'm 100% sure will be Impish. What speed should I aim for, them, with the set you suggested?

Edit - another quick question: is there any difference between the plates and stuff like magnet, silk scarf, etc, besides Fling and Arceus ability?

Also, where can I get more Leftovers?

Mods get mad at me for posting 3 times on a page, I see 6 on this page by one person.

Anyways, I was wondering, in breeding Pokémon for good Natures and IVs, is it important to hatch a baby Pokémon? Example - If you were trying to breed a perfect Wobbuffet/Wynaut, would it matter if the baby was a Wynaut or a Wobbuffet or would it work out to be the same in the long run?

Edit: Okay thanks

Wobbufett doesnt learn Encore, which it needs to be effective. You have to breen wynauts, who learn Encore from the start

quagsire: surf/muddy water, Earthquake, slam, and waterfall/whirlpool
Furret: sucker punch, slam, cut/stregnth/rock smash, whirlpool/surf

edit: whirlpool because this seems to be a hg/ss game

Does anyone know the Happiness level of a Pokemon when it has just been caught (for example, say a wild Pokemon, or one in the Great Marsh, or even an Event pokemon)? Also, what would it's Happiness level be at if the Pokemon just hatched?

And not sure if anyone answered my one big question a few pages ago, but if I acquire a Event Pokemon, does it gain my Secret I.D. or does it have one all on its own? I assume it does because if I catch a Pokemon in the wild or hatch one it gains my Secret I.D., so a Event Pokemon would also gain mine, right (I could be wrong, someone who knows that kind of stuff correct me, as I'd like to know an answer to this)?

not sure on the IDs, But different pokemon have different base happinesses. Legendaries are lower and things like chansey are higher. Serebii has a good explantion here and their dex has the base happiness of each pokemon

Yeah, that's not what I was looking for. I know all about Happiness in the way Serebii says on there, about all the evolution stuff and using items and whatnot to raise their happiness. What my main question was what's the Pokemon's base Happiness when it's caught or obtained from an Event or even hatched. Like how your max Happiness is 255, I just want to know the starting ratio and numbers of it all when it begins and what those beginning numbers are. Like, if I caught a wild Pokemon, is its base Happiness 100? 150? And if I obtained it through an Event, is it 0? 200? And same goes for when I hatch a Pokemon, it can start at 0, or 1, or 50 and so on. That's why I'm seeking an answer for said questions.

That above and the whole Secret I.D. Event Pokemon thing I asked in my previous post above. That I'd like to know very much because I'm super curious about it.

Well that solves one part of my question. Now the rest of the questions remain unanswered (lol guess my questions are quite tricky, that or such questions never really occurred to some people thus never asking about them hence why I'm stuck with more questions lol).

So, with one question down, all that remains:

I would think it would also be 70, why would it be different?

Or the pokemons base happiness(depending on species).

Well, it just seems like if that's the base Happiness for catching a wild Pokemon, then it must be 0 or 1 or something like that for a hatched Pokemon.

It just isn't agreeing with me - consider it a gut feeling - but I know when a Pokemon just hatched it's not going to start out with 70 Happiness, it's going to be at a lower number if anything. So that's why I'm wondering what that number is. I'm pretty sure you're right about if it was for an Event Pokemon, depending on the Pokemon, that is.

Also, here's something else I've also wondered about: I have a Ditto with a Choice item (let's say it's holding a Choice Scarf). I outspeed the opponents Pokemon and use Transform on their... errr, Infernape, I guess, while it uses Stealth Rock. Now, once my Ditto transforms into said Infernape, do I get to choose any move or just the move where Transform was (the only spot it's in; the upper left corner)?
