can you trade pokemon between soul silver and ruby? and ruby to soul silver? im trying to figure out if i can get scizor on my own if i trade from soul silver to ruby and then back to soul silver from ruby
You can send Pokemon from Ruby to Soul Silver through Pal Park in Fuschia City. However, there's no way of trading or sending Pokemon back to Ruby from Soul Silver.

Attempting to build a mono-Psychic team. My biggest problem seems to be Pursuit users especially Tyranitar. I already have Metagross but even he will get worn down quickly, what are other solutions to combat this threat?

I would use Jirachi, or even Starmie as a revenge killer.

Revenge killing means at least one Pokemon has to die to Tyranitar. This means that after Tyranitar kills something, it can just switch out from your Starmie/Jirachi. Furthermore, Starmie is cannot OHKO Tyranitar with Hydro Pump while Tyranitar can OHKO it with Pursuit.

Why Latias isnt Uber and Latios is? Never really understood that.

The simple answer, as far as I can tell, is that while Latias has more offensive strength, it's more easily revenge killed. Latios would come in, still do tons of damage (albeit less then latias), and refuse to die as well.

Latias is weaker than Latios. Latias is more bulky and Latios is stronger. As far as I know, with choice specs Latios could still do good damage to some steel switch ins with draco meteor.

http://pokecentral101.com/box/OUs/

The above website contains .pkmn files of legitimately bred Pokemon. If I use those in a competition, is it considered legit, legal or hacked?

It would be a "legal hack" (assuming the Pokémon in question really are legitimately bred); fine for battling people on Smogon, so long as you warn them in advance. (Many players will enforce the Event Clause on you if you do that, as finding good legitimate event Pokémon is rather tricky; recreating legal event Pokémon someone else has is considerably easier, as you can imagine.)

Can someone tell me where the thread is for the HGSS, hidden stuff, like the IV checker guy, and etc. I vaguely remember there was a thread about that here.

Oh hey, another question;

If I place some blocks in the Safari Zone, and then set the clock on my DS to be 150 days later, will that fully upgrade those blocks, or have Nintendo done something about time abuse since AC:WW?

Never try time abuse in HGSS; it resets all timers (i.e. your safari zone will be reset to 0 days) and blocks per-day events for the day you do it on and the day after. So Game Freak seem pretty strong on ways of avoiding it. (There are things you can do, but not with respect to the Safari Zone; for instance, you can still change the time in order to RNG things, just with bad side effects on all the time events on the game.)

Suppose I want to use Moltres in OU. Can someone help me find the analysis from when it was BL? I'm really just looking for an EV spread for a set like flamethrower/toxic/substitute/roost.

Can someone comment on this Mixed Revenge Killer Blaziken moveset I'm going to test out in OU

-Over Heat
-Superpower
-HP Elec (66, not perfect but then again I was barely trying to get an HP)
-Stone Edge/Brave Bird/EQ

Also speaking of Hidden Power, is there a way to get it easily without using the Egg RNG or HGSS power items?

Where's a good place on Smogon to ask a few questions about chaining (a thread, perhaps a member who has chained hundreds of shinies, whatever)? The only chaining thread I found on here was the C&C thread, but that's not a help thread.

Gliscor in SS w/ Bright Powder + Sand Attack + Sand Veil should be pretty effective. Maybe have Spikes / Rocks up to discourage switching and force the opponent to endure the "miss" every turn.

thx
