In that café, there are several a day. It's near the beachy area... You know what I mean? I can't remember the route number...

I realized after facepalming that I could simply sketch every move in a Double Battle. Where could one find the common double battle rematches in Platinum?

There are 2 pairs on the route above Solaceon town, one of which should be obvious if you take the bike path. Just use the Vs. Seeker.

Or go to the restaurant on Valor Lakefront between Pastoria and Sunnyshore, as Showsni said.

Second quote to new page. Anyone?
I am not an expert at stall but the blissey/rotom-h/skarmory combo makes many people tear their hair out. So I'd definitely switch out heatran for rotom-h (I never got the point of tormentran anyway, it always seemed useless to me).

I'd also try replacing celebi with a heal bell blissey, if heal bell is that important to you. Other wise just make it a standard wish/protect/s-toss/toxic blissey. Try the changes, and see if it helps.

I'm very loath to use Blissey, though she walls Special attackers to hell and back she provides too many oppurtunities for something to switch in and set up.

What about Forretress. Should I use it over Skarm for T-Spikes+Spikes support. Do I need a T-Spikes absorber.

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this: Where do you get the Smogon T-shirt? The link in Zerowing's warstory seems to be broken.

How exactly do I get Blue's number? I've brought my max-happiness Umbreon to Daisy AT LEAST 5 times, and she hasn't given it to me.

It took me seven times of grooming before she gave it to me. Just keep going for a few more days before you panic.

Does Daisy actually give you the number? I thought once she'd groomed your Pokémon enough Blue would appear on Cinnabar again? I never checked it though.

I have a question about Substitute. Smogon seems to swear by it, especially on weaker Pokémon to protect from revenge killing, but I don't see how you can get it up. For example I'm thinking of using a Pikachu, how would I get a sub up without it breaking at the end of each turn? It seems like a wasted moveslot unless you have insane prediction skills or go out of your way to use Encore or something, effectively turning it into a gimmick set.

@Lucalibur Oh yeah, I guess so. :( Jeez I lack common sense. The thing is I don't know if I'd have the balls to use Pikachu outside of battling with friends, and they're not likely to switch at all.

will you keep a milotic or slowbro on a pikachu? i doubt, and this is why sub is so useful, he sub on the switch of a pokemon he is sure to force out, it allow the use of focus punch and stop revenge killers.

I was just wondering if someone could suggest a viable ubers set for Metagross. I was wondering this because I wanted to make a team with Rayquaza and Metagross as the set-up sweepers because they have such amazing synergy.
Thanks!

A tiny question...

I have built an offensive team before and I have checked the Articles page, but none of them address how to build a Stall team. How do you build one and what are the core members?

Well, I don't really use stall and I've teared through stall teams. But I guess the standard Stall has Blissey/Defense wall(Skarmory)/Rotom/ScarfTar

Thunderpunch doesn't hit anything harder than EQ or Stone Edge, and Fire Punch is pretty much reserved for Scizor / Forretress. That's why a set with EQ / Stone Edge / Dragon Claw probably provides the best coverage.

Apologies if the answer to this could be found elsewhere, but I tried searching and couldn't find anything definite. My question is quite simple: in Soul Silver, is the Togepi egg you receive from Elm's aide guaranteed to have a Bold nature? I've reloaded my save over 20 times and keep getting the same thing.

Note: My savefile is two steps shy of the egg hatching, so if there are methods of changing its nature, one that doesn't involve walking anywhere would be appreciated.

the egg is fixed to always appear the same once you get him and save, it will only change if you save, get the egg and reset to get the egg again.

Dang, looks like I'll have to wait until I can hit up the daycare; I really don't want to have to go through all of the intro stuff again if I can avoid it. Thanks for the quick reply, now I can boot up the game again and push on.

Edit: Just another quick question: when I eventually get to the daycare to try again with the nature of the Togepi, what are the chances that it'll have the same ability as the original? I ask this because it hatched with the hustle ability, and given the dismal attack values of the Togepi evolutions, I'd rather have Serene Grace.
