When I want to enter Smogon server, it says 'Enter password for current user' but I don't have a password, so I press cancel.
Then I connect but the player list is empty.

You don't technically connect. Load a different team or change your team's nickname, because your name is most likely registered by somebody else, which is why it asks for a password.

Is it a mistake that Curse is listed as a Ghost-type move?
 
Why has PO been randomly quitting today? The server has't gone down, it'll just randomly quit.

I scanned my computer for viruses and I got the all-clear.
 
I would just like to ask some competitive battlers, what IVs do you normally try and get on your pokemon? All outstanding (except for something like Attack, if you are breeding a special sweeper)? I know you want Hidden Power of a certain type etc, but I would like to know if most people aim for all IVs around the 28-31 mark etc. And if so, how long does that take you, and what can you do to make it easier?

Almost everyone goes for straight 31s and 30s, Hidden Power dependant. And for future reference, this thread is exclusively for the simulator. Ask in one of the other Simple Question threads in future.
 
Guys, can anyone tell me why i can log in to the other pokemon online servers, but the main one and the smogon one say the remote host closed the location?
 
When u r banned from a smogon server r u banned for life or what? Also how can i get unbanned. i was banned for flooding, i was actually just testing out the kickbot ive seen it boot others but i went straight to being banned and i apologize for doing so.
 
i havent been able to connect to the pokemon labratory for a couple days now, does anybody know why ?!?
 
If you are talking about the Smogon server, it has been out of action for some time, because it is no longer supported. If you are talking about another server, we can't help you here.

The Pokemon Lab simulator is no longer in use do to the Creator's unexpected leave of smogon.

Thus Pokemon Online is the main simulator in use.
 
I have a problem that has been haunting me for the past months.

I've never had too many lag problems with PO, that is, until I've tried SU. I get lag almost every single time.

And no, this is not a problem with my PO in general, as I've been going to Beta as well, which holds much more people, and I still ALWAYS lag on SU but never on Beta.

Is there a certain thing causing this? As I don't seem to see any logic behind it.

Download if from http://pokemon-online.eu/

Once downloaded, just install it and you're done. Pretty easy and straightforward.

@Blue Tornado- It may not be your fault particularly, some servers speed relies a lot on the speed of the server's host. (take browsing smogon's forums....and then trying to browse serebii's)
