hello!!!! if you're here, you are interested in seeing my art, or are here because you're bored. either way i am here to entertain!

to preface; i am ausma. if you're familiar with me, chances are you've seen my contributions on other forums. i lead the ou forums, ou c&c, and moderate sm qc and the sm forum. however, something a lot of people don't really know about me is that i am a very very passionate and versed artist too!!! in fact i've been drawing and designing for about a decade now and have even done my share of banners and logos for various purposes around the site.

You've done so much more artwork since the last time I saw an update from you! Love your Pokemon pieces, the artfight pieces, and the doodles you included here too; I'm sure you already know how much I like your thread banners from my comments on your last thread, too.

On a technical note; maybe it's just me, but I actually can't see most of the images under the Design Work category? There's just a bunch of "View attachment" links, and I keep getting an error page every time I click on one of them. The same goes for a few images under the other categories as well.

yea i’ve had a couple people bring this up, since i’m on a new laptop i had to plug them in directly from artfight which is a site that only allows access to it and its files if you’re signed in, so i’ll try to get that patched up when i get back later. thank you so much for letting me know!!

i've been very art blocked and very busy the past year or so, so i've only really been doing sketches for my partners and friends here and there. however i recently started becoming revitalized. i figured since it's been ages since i posted here, that i'd show some of the things i've done lately.

US Midwest: Explorers of Dub

the piece i drew for us midwest's wcop run this year, which i am managing! go corn land.

Super Staff Bros: Ultimate

this was a massive undertaking that took me an absurd amount of time. i haven't worked on something as long as i have for this in a really long time, so it was a good way for me to really bounce back from my art block. i'm insanely happy with the result of this piece and i hope it's left a lasting impact for those who've seen it :D

CAP escapades

my take on cap 34! i ended up getting 3rd with this design, which is fucking astonishing. i'm really looking forward to designing more in the future because i really want to succeed. check out the justification here.

this was my take on cap 33. this unfortunately just barely missed poll 2, but in spite of that i'm pretty happy with how this came out in spite of how many challenges i had with coloring. it was def a good way for me to learn how to improve my compositions, which i employed with cap 34. check out the justification here.

this was my take on cap 32. i was pretty happy with this design, although it definitely lacked that pokemony edge which i've been learning to better execute lately. check out my justifications here.

el ausma sprite?!

fun fact: i sprite! i haven't done so in a really long time, but after wanting to make a new custom avatar for myself to better reflect my smogon identity, i started to get back into it. with this, i made a sprite for a starter fakemon that i was assigned to make for a solomod that cyclonez_ is running that i'm really happy with given my rustiness.

i may start posting here more depending on how much more lined stuff/sprites i make. here's a bit for now though.
