[Beginner] PMD Mafia - Game Over! D.A.D. and Lady Salamence win!

Can I campaign for village leader? Then again, it's my first time playing this kinda game, so I probably shouldn't. :/

Greetings everyone. I'm your host, er sorry, your fellow player loudkirbyking. Beyond killing rule 9(It wasn't important, no worries), I'm also here to try to aid in the problem. Since nobody else is stepping up(And I've been gone to a party/tourney for the last 8 hours or so, so people have had time), I'll attempt to lead everyone.

Here's my role PM, for those curious of who will be leading them.

Yep, I have no clue what I'll get, but for now, there's really no harm(Btw, if anyone has Perfect Apples, since I figure that might go along with my pokemon, might be a good idea to speak up of them.). I expect claims, for those beginners who know not, that would be role PM's and whatever action you did last night. Before you ask "Why?" I'll answer that. I do this so that, if a PM looks poorly written or contains obvious errors, it's a sign of mafia. Yes, even one period missing could be suspicious(But doesn't mean sure sign, of course. Don't want everyone rushing to check if aura forgot a period.). So, yes, once I get some info on what's going on, then I'll try to get a lynch target up ASAP. Also might be good to get result PMs, aka if you got hooked(Aka stopped in your action), blocked by something, got hit by something else, etc. That way, say if someone was blocked by a wall of fire. I could assume a fire type pokemon would be the cause of this, or some big dragon type pokemon. So, all info like this helps find a target. Also, make sure not to post it, but send it by PM. We don't want any mafia finding out your role PM, especially if you have some higher up role, like inspector, bodyguard, something really powerful. We don't need mafia getting their hands on that, amirite?

To bring in a pokemon joke, everyone, use Speed Boost so we can get a lynch target quick! Couldn't resist it, sorry.
 
I'm not sure how I should put this nicely, so I'll just go ahead and say it: I don't think we should trust loudkirbyking just yet.

Firstly, about half an hour before he posted the message asking to lead the village, I'd asked him on ICC what his assigned Pokemon was. He avoided the question for a while and didn't actually tell me what it was until I asked him again 10 minutes later (to clarify, h'de definitely read the question the moment I'd posted it). That struck me as a little suspicious, since there really isn't anything wrong with revealing your role name, right? It tells basically nothing about your night action. What it could give away, however, is one's alliance. I don't see why, then, he would have taken so long to reply if his role, like Wigglytuff, was truly one that is so undoubtedly village - the reply could definitely have been immediate.

Secondly, there's the matter of the role PM itself. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the grammar and flavour from what I can see - even the picture URL seems normal. The ability, however, seems odd to me; it just seems awfully generic and hard to verify, especially since the Wigglytuff in the games is a pretty prominent leader which would probably warrant a more concrete night action.

I would like to stress that I'm just guessing with all of this; for all I know, I could be completely wrong, and I'm genuinely sorry if I am. But I still think we should wait for an inspector to clean LKK properly before we start claiming to him.
 
Here's what I suggest as a first course of action instead - everyone PM me their role name and flavour. Here, I'll go first:

(Yes, I am aware my role PM says "will be using" rather than "will use". I'm honestly not sure why.)

This is probably the best course of action for now - it prevents anyone from revealing more information than they want to, but it also allows someone to go through each PM and look for possible duplicates/fakes so we can get an early lead on the lynch. Of course, if anyone feels they trust me enough to send me their full PM that would be great, but I understand if you don't want to just yet.

But on the topic at hand Im not so sure if we should just trust loudkirby right off the bat but, his role pm looks ok. Im also not sure about chomzoloh either.

Mmhmm. I'm suspicious? No, sir. I didn't delay it, I find things tedious to repeat unless required, or for emphasis(Plus, he was about to get the entire role PM...). Now, let me give everyone, since very few were on when he kept pestering me for it.

No log I have shows anything of me claiming leader before this moment. If chomzloh has logs, he should know also. He didn't want long after me claiming leading, he asked right off the bat. Also ten minutes before asking again? Try less then 2. Here's the PC log he sent me. Notice timestamps, if you may.

This(The first log) was in the main chat, and obviously, some people can claim(Mostly people not in the game, and aura, but he probably won't. Chomzloh(Geez that name is hard to type for me) also can claim to this.) that this conversation happened. Then, after this, he proceeds to PC me(The log above), asking me for it yet again. Why not just wait one moment, I ask? Being that desperate for info right of the bat, why am I being thought of as mafia, when he's the one that keeps charging for info? I won't point fingers. I'm going to give proof. I don't like unresolved issues. About my power, I ain't sure either. I assume I get a power if I get a Perfect Apple, or else maybe an Armaldo(I think that was his original partner) dies or something... That would be what I assume.

Also, for everyone, I have a lynch target. TalkingLion. I've talked to him over IRC in PC, and he not only kept mentioning teammates, but also said he didn't want to ask anyone for help(Said his role was hard to understand *shrug*), but instead just talk to his teammates, and was waiting for them to come on. So, honestly, I ask of you this. I don't expect everyone to trust me right of the bat. I honestly do not expect that now, and won't expect it until I deliver results. I might have even more proof, but I unfortunately don't have much information to work from, beyond just some basic conversations I've had with a few players. But overall, here's my results, and I ask of all my fellow villagers to join along, please.

EDIT: I just realized this after I pressed submit, actually. Chomzloh, if you really want to lead, you know it's best to put your WHOLE role PM. Your power could be inspector(Which is a bad one to lead with, btw.), and, for those of you old-timers, or people who want to re-read Randomness Mafia when someone publicly claims inspector, they die. So, I might suggest either taking out that part, or putting in the rest.
 
Loudkirbyking, that log doesn't make me much more confident. TBH, while your role PM looks tops an' all, I personally will find it difficult to trust the first person to step up to lead us.

But maybe that's just me as a newbie.

Anyway, while I'm not entirely sure I trust either leader yet, I feel it safe to go for loudkirbyking's target, then if it's an important villager role, we lynch him next day :P.

I don't expect everyone to trust me. But, I've been given a role that isn't powerful(Or I assume not, I don't even know what it is yet for all sake!), thus, when nobody else steps up while I'm away, figured I'd try my luck in leading. And also, not trusting the leader isn't newbie. It's just a paranoia effect given by a mafia game. You're doing nothing wrong, but all I ask is people go along with the lynch. If he's actually village, feel free to take me down as leader and let someone more experienced step up, I won't care. But, if he's mafia, I assume that's all the proof you'll need. If the lynch is blocked/redirected, I can assume that's also all the proof you need. Villagers, typically, can't stop lynches.

Also, the IRC channel name is #pmd for everyone who doesn't know... Oh, someone else said that, cool.

Also(again), how do you get those crossed out letters? I can't find it up thar.
 
I may change my vote in the coming hours then. But am still reluctant to trust anybody at all.

Let's see how this goes, it's getting interesting.

Won't be active much later on (football game to watch) so is it possible to no lynch right now since without clues and stuff it is all down to suspicion, and right now all these posts seem pretty normal to me.
 
Good agruement, I agree, as I said I'd lend my support to loudkingkirby and I don't have a problem with this lynch.

Talkinglion becomes just "the lion", because dead lions can't talk.
