so I guess Unohana is going to die
I find it amusing that the SS wants to kill off one of their top fighters
It doesn't help that kubo is bad at being consistent on how people age in bleach
Doesn't make this easy to figure out at all
basically kubo created a really boring character
and he wanted to spice up bleach, so he retconed her and tried to make her a badass who bodied kenpaichi i think?
except we still don't know anything about her or major techniques, so she's still boring

Actually, she was foreshadowed to be a BA many times throughout bleach, now we get to see her true nature after it being foreshadowed......
More than likely he has some latent badass skill/reflex that makes him react before even he perceives it or something (explaining how he had blocked her attack before she decapitated him). Or who knows, maybe his shikai is kicking in somewhere lol.
Either way, next chapter should be fun assuming it goes into their past battle, and not zigzagging back to Ichigo/Renji (though admittedly that arc is interesting too).
this is my roommate's theory: kenpachi actually dies and comes back to life, either by his own power (shikai/bankai?) or because unohana has the power to fight people but not to kill people, which is why she became a medic instead of fighting despite being kenpachi at one time (maybe as a result of her "sin")

it's like Kubo was reading this thread last week and said "hey, Uraga's idea is pretty decent I think I could go with that"
basically kenpachi is going to take out everyone but Bach, who will have to be taken care of by Ichigo in some way that we don't know yet (probably involving some kind of power acquired from the soul king)
Honestly, Kenpachi's strange power level has been annoying me since Ichigo beat him. I never really understood why Ichigo pre bankai was able to beat him as he was shown as being so strong later. In my opinion, this was a while in the making because those relative powers made no sense. And Unohana has had many moments that hint at her power.
I have very very strong doubts that Kubo planned that far ahead. I'd probably believe it for One Piece, but no way for Bleach.
