If the article is real, then I'm a bit annoyed that Japan doesn't get it on December 3rd as well. Why? It'll be annoying to know all the characters before it comes out here.

Then again Euros have to worry about that anyway. =[
 
Well considering they're the people who made everything we play today, I couldn't care less if they got it in September.

Something that I don't get is how they can call Zelda and Bowser veteran fighters. I think being a veteran of the series means that you were there for the past 2 games, not just 1. It seems more or less like they're making a comeback. I can't wait to see Jigglypuff Final Smash btw.

Hahaha that would kick ass,or one of the happy religious guys (you know those blue dudes that kidnap Paula).

I know about Benjamin Franklin, but i don't remember if there is also something related to the earthbound game for SNES, if i recall i think that was also an item/character or enemy.

I personally want to see Ness over Lucas, and other Earthbound character (hopes for Paula or Pokey).

The Franklin Badge was neccesary to even fight Mr. Carpainter, otherwise he PSI Thunder'd you outside.

I don't even know who Lucas is. It would be cool to have Jeff, especially if he had an even bigger Bazooka than Solid Snake.

Rather than comment on the stuff you guys are discussing now (the FE stuff is probably the biggest thing I'd want to debate about since it's my favourite series, but it's been done), I'll just comment on the next update.

Thanks for the scans Firestorm... I saw them earlier this morning and was wishing I could read Japanese better. T_T As it stands I can only read sentence particles, there's way too much kanji for my level. Though if I read anything noteworthy I'll try and post the translation for you guys.

As far as I can see from the scans, they seem to basically be stating what's already been said on the website for the last little bit, so don't get your hopes up too high. Also, I noticed a "12" so Firestrom, I'm not sure if it's going to be released in November (unless the 12 is something else, not a month, but it seems to be indicating so), and is there any information on Wifi? As far as I know, the Wifi symbol is basically the same in Japan and North America, and I didn't see it anywhere.

Just great, now we get a character that fights indirectly in the background. I find the use of Squirtle, Charizard, and Ivysaur disturbing, because for 1, Charizard is supposed to pop out of a pokeball items, and 2, they could have chosen much better candidates then those three, along with adding the fact that you could probly switch whenever you wanted to to avoid damage, and that they have "stamina". I can't fucking wait till they announce Toadsworth as a character, because that crap blows my mind.
 
Wow, what a great update @_@. Pokemon Trainer, I'm really excited! It'll definitely be interesting to see what kind of crazy movesets they come up with for each Pokemon's moves...

Wait a sec, how the fuck are they going to fight? There's a crapload of possibilities here:

1) They have no Special (B) moves, just attack with ordinary stuff
2) They use neutral special to switch, and have a side, up and down special, or
3) They have no A moves (lol) and just fight using specials.

What makes me wonder is how the hell they're going to get Ivysaur to recover. Vine Whip maybe? Squirtle can use Waterfall/Aqua Jet; Charizard obviously uses Fly. Thoughts?

Edit: Fuck I'm a blind shithead, the Brawl site lists that the "changing" move is Down special. So that leaves neutral, side, and up specials.

Here's a question:

If one falls off, does it lose a life for each of them..... since they have the same damage counter, I'm guessing yes...

(Edit: Cute, you noticed my edit just after I made a smartass comeback. Ah well, no hard feelings)

Anyways, yes, if one loses a stock they all do. Otherwise in a 5 stock match you'd have 15 stocks essentially, which is more broken than Arceus in OU. Think of it like Zelda and Sheik in Melee. Same percentage, same stocks, just different characters.

What really interests me is that Stamina setting. How long do you have to wait before switching Pokemon, and how long do you have before the Pokemon is in for too long? What aspects will be affected? (Perhaps their speed?)
