Bug Reports v2.0 (READ OP BEFORE POSTING!!)

Not open for further replies.
I've seen a bug with Outrage. No, not when Protect is involved. After the second turn of it's usage, it gives me the option to us another move and does not confuse my Pokemon on that turn.

To all of those who keep posting about two turn moves using two PP:

That's already known about. No need to keep cluttering the thread with that.

Now that I think about it, same goes for Flash Fire and friends still working behind Protect.

RandBat glitch with the wrong pokemon being displayed. It said the trainer had two ambipoms but one was a rhydon

Tornadus's typing isn't affected by Gravity, it seems... it took Supereffective damage from Stone Edge and resisted damage from Power Whip. As a side notice, this was the second time the Starmie had used Gravity, and the first header from Gravity (top left) hadn't disappeared even though it had worn off (resulting in two Gravities showing up on the side)

Gravity doesn't remove flying type, it only removes ground immunity, prevents flying moves and lowers evasion. Tornadus would still resist grass and take 2x damage from rock because of its typing, as it is still flying type.

The foe's Hydreigon used U-turn!
It's not very effective... u Jelly? lost 7% of its health!
jdnq called Hydreigon back!
jdnq sent out Ferrothorn!
u Jelly? used Rapid Spin!
It's not very effective... The foe's Ferrothorn lost 1% of its health!
u Jelly? is hurt by the foe's Ferrothorn's Iron Barbs!
u Jelly? fainted!
The hail crashes down.
The foe's Ferrothorn is buffeted by the hail!
The foe's Ferrothorn restored HP using its Leftovers!
rjjjjjjj sent out Red Turd (Heatran)!
Pointed stones dug into Red Turd!

Rapid spin didn't remove the rocks

When you faint from Iron Barbs/Rough Skin, Rapid Spin doesn't remove any hazards.

It behaved correctly.

Bug: Reflect Type only works ONCE.

According to +Relados, Reflect Type is supposed to change the pokemon type to the opponent's type- and if it is used again and the opposing pokemon changes, Reflect type would switch the user's type to match the new pokemon's type... Is that right?

Therefore, in a situation where Latias uses reflect type:

Pokemon 1: Gallade -> Latias Uses Reflect Type -> Psychic/Fighting
Pokemon 2: Magnezone -> Latias Uses Reflect Type -> Steel/Electric

DxDeadlockedxS noted that an opponent's Latias did not do this, instead remaining the pokemon type it last copied, like so:

Pokemon 1: Gallade -> Latias Uses Reflect Type -> Psychic/Fighting
Pokemon 2: Magnezone -> Latias Uses Reflect Type -> Still Psychic/Fighting

Therefore, we decided to confirm it in battle. Here is the log- System messages are Bolded:

DxDeadlockedxS sent out What am I? (Gallade)!
Yugi sent out Latias!
Turn 1

Yugi: I'm faster now
Yugi: use ice punch
DxDeadlockedxS: ok ill ice punch
Latias used Reflect Type! (Latias has changed type to Psychic/Fighting)
Latias's type changed to match What am I?'s! (placeholder)
The foe's What am I? used Ice Punch!
A critical hit! Latias lost 62% of its health!
The foe's What am I? lost some of its HP!
Turn 2

Yugi: no super effective (Latias has changed type and is no longer Dragon, hence Ice Punch is not Effective.)
DxDeadlockedxS: ok
Yugi: Reflect typing again
Yugi: switch to mag
Yugi: then switch to haxorus and try to brick break
DxDeadlockedxS called What am I? back!
DxDeadlockedxS sent out Static Shock (Magnezone)!
Latias used Reflect Type!
(Latias has copied Magnezone's Type and should be Steel/Electric.)
Turn 3
DxDeadlockedxS: ok
DxDeadlockedxS called Static Shock back!
DxDeadlockedxS sent out Haxasaurusrex (Haxorus)!
The foe's Haxasaurusrex breaks the mold!
Latias used Recover!
Latias regained health!

Turn 4
Yugi: okay
Latias used Recover!
Latias regained health!
The foe's Haxasaurusrex used Brick Break!
It's not very effective... Latias lost 26% of its health!
(Latias is STILL Psychic- which results in the not-effective message. The proper type is Electric/Steel.)
Turn 5
DxDeadlockedxS: nope
Yugi: yep.
DxDeadlockedxS: well
Yugi: report it
Yugi: it only worked once.
DxDeadlockedxS: is the move supposed to only work that turn?
Yugi: no
Yugi: it's supposed to work all the time if the pokemon switches
DxDeadlockedxS: u sure?
Yugi: it's a bug
Yugi: That's what relados said
DxDeadlockedxS: alright
Yugi: according to him if the pokemon switches and reflect type is reused
DxDeadlockedxS: well im not a member on smogon yet im waiting for my acciount to be activated
Yugi: it would change.

I can't give a screenshot, but when I played a UU game, I sent P2 out on a Roserade. For about 10 seconds. P2 began to continuously, and rapidly trace Natural Cure. Luckily it stopped, but it definietly weirded me out. I hope it doesn't apply to other abilities.

A couple of bugs to report....
The first is due to multiturn moves requiring selecting the attack two actual times. I understand that you already know about this, but due to it, I have had a Pokemon get stuck underground trying to complete Dig. I don't have any screenshots, but I can tell you that it was a Darumaka using Dig that was afflicted with both Attract and Paralysis so that it stayed underground for over 7 turns. It was possible to use another move, but until a move finally hit, Darumaka's sprite was nowhere to be seen. Attacks could be landed on it still, with the battle animations hitting the blank space where it's sprite would normally occupy.

The next bug is a fairly simple one. In the Challenge Cup tier, alternate formes have no moves to choose from. In one battle, I received the Therian forme of Tornadus, whose only usable move was Struggle. In the battle immediately following, I received a Giratina holding a Griseous Orb, making it Origin Forme, that also knew only Struggle. My opponent of the Giratina battle reported that he got Resolute Forme Keldeo in Challenge Cup once, it only knowing Struggle as well. I don't know if this same problem occurs in RandomBattle.

the pokemon are not showing

my pokemon as well as my opponents pokemon in the bottom-left screen are not showing

yeblod sent out Zoroark (Arceus-Fighting)!
Pointed stones dug into the foe's Zoroark!

appears as fightceus but says it's zoroark

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or what, but I click cancel for a move and it seems as if it cancels it. But then, without me doing anything it uses that move for the next 3 turns. This isn't the first time it has happened either.

u-turn bug

I just had a scizor u-turn a tangrowth, the tangrowth had a eject button so it switched out into snorlax. But my scizor didn't switch out.
