I used the /dt command on chat to show Hydreigon and he has been erased, definately not a mayor bug, but a bug nevertheless.
Replay, please?Gen 8 bug, body press is not using user’s defense stat in damage calculation
It seems to be fixed now, thanks.Replay, please?
Which form are you using? Low Key can't learn it, but Amped can.Toxtricity is supposed to have access to Shift Gear and it currently shows illegal
That’s might actually be is any other differences between the two forms?Which form are you using? Low Key can't learn it, but Amped can.
Amped has Venoshock and Shift Gear, while Low Key has Venom Drench and Magnetic Flux. Those are the only actual differences. They have identical stats and mechanically identical abilities. That’s might actually be is any other differences between the two forms?
No, the environment that the National Dex format is trying to simulate is "What if Pokemon Home were already out and it turned out to be possible to stage battles directly from there with teams that you transferred in, using our estimation for how the old and new mechanics would coexist?" Mints would still only be usable on Pokemon that could actually be brought into a game where they exist to provide that function, which Heatran, Entei, etc. can't.You're right if we're talking about the games, but National Pokedex OU assumes all Pokemon can be available in gen 8 - so given that, the Mints should be legal on it
That's really just your interpretation of this meta. Another valid interpretation is that this meta is a "what if" Pokemon Home came out and you could transfer ALL mons to SwSh.No, the environment that the National Dex format is trying to simulate is "What if Pokemon Home were already out and it turned out to be possible to stage battles directly from there with teams that you transferred in, using our estimation for how the old and new mechanics would coexist?" Weight based moves fail against Dynamax Pokemon. Lore reasoning is that they're just projections.I had a random gen 8 battle where heavy slam failed on a dynamax pokemon. I thought it was a problem with max mindstorm but it seems it just has a problem with the dynamax pokemon. I had mudsdale and the other guy had mew. I did a OU battle with myself as well to test it out and it only fails when mew dynamaxs. Not sure if it fails against other dynamax pokemon.

This is all intended behavior. Fighting/Poison Max Moves have a different power scaling than other types, and Dynamax Pokemon are unaffected by weight based moves or Destiny Bond.At turn 20, I kill a Qwilfish with Destiny Bond, but Cobalion doesn't faint. Also, Close Combat's Max Knuckle only showed up as a 95BP move (don't have screenshot sadly). These might be weird Max Move mechanics I'm not in the know about, but both struck me as odd.
There are a few Pokemon that, despite not being currently obtainable, are still in the game's code. Primarina, regular Weezing, and Zekrom are three of them.Just had a random battle with mons that aren't in gen 8. Is this intended or a mistake?? I know primarina, Weezing (non-galar), and zekrom aren't in SwSh, so I'm a bit confused... Any explanation?

...can we just have some banner or change the title to include "Weight-based moves don't affect Dynamaxed Pokemon" as this has been posted probably tens of times by now?Just witnessed that Grass Knot can mView attachment 207744iss versus a Dynamaxed opponent
It's been updated, will be fixed in the next hotpatch.Leek isn't working with sirfetched in showdown
It works with fetched in game, when I use it in-game leaf blade always crits no matter what, and his other moves crit about half the time
I see. I'll try to remember that. ThanksWeight based moves fail against Dynamax Pokemon. Lore reasoning is that they're just projections.
