According to this mechanics research post Imposter users with Ability Shield are supposed to copy most abilities. However on PS it appears that Imposter with Ability Shield retains the Imposter ability after transformation.

Also this was never addressed and still a thing.
Not sure if this has been reported before, my bad if it has been.
In National Dex BH (and Ubers I guess) Red Orb Groudon (and Kyogre) are able to Terastalize, but Primal Kyogre is not.
I'm pretty sure this isn't testable in game due to Primals not existing but this feels very inconsistent when the Primal Reversion one is capable of Teraing while the immediately Primal one is not. Also (in separate test) Primal Kyogre holding Blue Orb cannot Tera.
Also would like to know if it is intended that Rayquaza with Dragon Ascent gets priority on Mega Evolution over Terastalize.
Also would like to know if it is intended that Necrozma-Ultra, even without Ultra Burst, is not capable of Teraing (understandable since it requires a Z-Crystal to transform but wasn't sure.)

Diglett-Alola should be legal in LC, but is banned, presumably because Diglett-Kanto is on the banlist

It just became valid like 3 hours ago, give them time to update things.
I'm just reporting this bc it was updated in the GitHub and it should work, but it seems as though it doesn't.

^ File that disallows Chatot having Boomburst is deleted, but validator isn't updated.

There is a glitch where Hoopa Confined can't use Hyperspace Hole. If you bring one that knows Hyperspace Hole into a battle, it will turn into Hyperspace Fury despite being in the Confined form, not Unbound. This is something that only happens in Gen 9.

https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen9ou-1874504806

Also, Hoopa can bring Hyperspace Fury into battle despite the move transforming from Hole to Fury depending on Hoopa's form in Gen 9. Hoopa Confined with Hyperspace Fury is accepted through the teambuilder. Hoopa-Unbound has the same problem with Hyperspace Hole. It is only rejected if you put Hyperspace Hole and Fury on the same moveset.

Thanks to Pokemon GO's wonky leveling system that allows you to have level 1 versions of fully evolved by level up Pokemon, an underleveled level 1 Donphan with Ice Shard and Endeavor is now perfectly possible now that Donphan can actually travel from Pokemon GO to a mainline game. It (and a bunch of other Pokemon GO Pokemon but those are far less relevant) should be legal for BDSP formats below its normal evolution level.

I'm afraid I'm not well read up enough on Pokemon GO availability to say what else is now available at level 1 (most things you can catch in the wild should be legal at that level; raid and reward Pokemon have higher min levels of 20 or 15), but I wanted to bring up Donphan in particular because this has non-negotiable competitive application given Aron's done work in a few older smogon formats. Being able to chip off that last HP with your own priority is a pretty big upgrade for Aron's Shell Bell shenanigans.

BUG STATUS: CONFIRMED - LEGALITY (DaWoblefet)

Hello, this was reported last year for the BDSP format, but now with Pokemon Go and Pokemon SV being interconnectable,, level 1 Donphan is also possible in Scarlet and Violet. I'm also not entirely sure on specific pokemon legality in terms of minimum levels, but Donphan at least should be legal in the current gen 9 format.

I've been playing some gen 6 pure hackmons, there's an issue where arceus with wonder guard is detected as being a normal type despite the type change when considering which moves will pass through wonder guard, will do super effective/normal/resist damage, etc. Here's a replay of a game where (near the end) I fail to hit an opponent's wonder guard ghost arceus with shadow sneak, but I can land a mach punch.

I'm pretty sure this problem occurs regardless of the fact that I'm using a transformed blissey, but I'm not 100% sure, I haven't done thorough testing on this. In the past I've remembered this bug occurring regardless of the fact that I am using priority moves as well, though I have probably misremembered how many times this has occurred simply by not noticing mold breaker/turboblaze/teravolt being up.

Sadly I don't have the replay, but there might be an issue with Air Lock, as I had a turn where Sun was active, Rayquaza left the field, and the opposing Flutter Mane did not have Protoynthesis trigger.

Despite this moveset being the recommended on-site Tinkatink set, this moveset is illegal. Tinkatink cannot learn the moves Knock Off, Brutal Swing, or Skitter Smack at level 5, even though it has the attacks in its level up movepool. It has no legal parents that can pass down the level up attack.

Pokemon can normally pass down their level up attacks to offspring very easily. If both parents know the level up attack, the offspring will know it as it hatches. This is usually trivial to do with any species that has both male and female Pokemon. This causes well known movepool problems for all Male and Genderless Pokemon. However, it can be a problem for all female Pokemon too.

All female species of Pokemon will need another male Pokemon from their egg group to pass down their level up attacks. Tinkatink needs Pokemon who can be male in the Fairy Egg group to pass down its level up attacks. There are no Pokemon in the Fairy egg group who can learn Knock Off except for Tinkatink itself. The only Pokemon who ever learned it in the egg group before got it from now inaccessible move tutors in prior gens. It should have been illegal at the start of SV, and it is still illegal now, given Home doesn't do flat out transfer moves and only lets potential parents relearn moves they can already learn in SV.

Also, I did a scan through of the other female only Pokemon you can use in Little Cup. Thanks to Home's new move reminder, there are no other Pokemon in that group who suffer from flat out illegal level up attacks at level 5 in Pokemon SV. Tinkatink's other level up attacks I didn't mention also all have valid dads (there are illegal movepool combos, but they are all mostly not competitively relevent. Details below).

Level Up Attacks that are not known by level 5 or are not a TM:
Covet - legal parent
Rock Smash - legal parent
Sweet Kiss - legal parent
Brutal Swing - ILLEGAL
Slam - legal parent
Fake Out - legal parent
Flatter - legal parent
Skitter Smack - ILLEGAL
Knock Off - ILLEGAL

Legal Dads

Pachirisu
Dedenne

Rock Smash
Falinks

Sweet Kiss
Raichu
Wigglytuff
Pachirisu

Slam
Azumarill

Fake Out
Grimmsnarl
Raichu
Indeedee M

Flatter
Grimmsnarl
Pachirisu

Illegal Moves At Level 5:
Brutal Swing
Skitter Smack
Knock Off

Illegal Level Up Move Combos At Level 5:
Covet + Slam
Covet + Fake Out
Sweet Kiss + Fake Out + Flatter
Rock Smash + Anything
Slam + Anything

Sorry LC players who like their knocks.

when using big challenge codes, the code covers the challenge button. This doesn't happen on my phone or any devices other than my laptop. This isn't a problem when being challenged as i can use /accept but it means i can't challenge anyone with big codes. using chrome if that helps

It seems that the Hyperspace Hole move is currently bugged. I give Hoopa Hyperspace Hole in the teambuilder but once I get into a match that move is replaced by Hyperspace Fury, which the regular form of Hoopa is unable to use.

As far as I can tell, Cheek Pouch should activate on type resist berries. If this is *not* a bug, I apologize. I'm including the relevant paste to show that I am indeed Cheek Pouch. The opponent was a Tyrantrum with Rock Head, and I don't see how those would effect anything.
