If you revive Mimikyu with Revival Blessing it won't restore Disguise. I am unable to test this interaction ingame cause I dont own the new games but according to bulbapedia "If a Mimikyu faints and is revived, it will be revived in its Disguised Form and Disguise will be able to activate again. " It seems like the logical conclusion to me as well so I'm inclined to believe it but I'd appreciate if someone with the necessary means could double check it.

Turn 13-17 in this replay

BUG STATUS: NOT A BUG Bulbapedia refers to revival items such as Revive. The interaction between Disguise and Revival Blessing has been tested already.

Edit: I apologize in that case. In any case is that hyperlink linking where its supposed to?
Mod response: lol not at all, fixed thx

After You seems to always fail in Gen 9 Free-For All. In a battle I spectated recently, a Miltank tried to use After You on a Camerupt that had not taken a turn yet, and also was not going to make its move next in the order. We tried this again and it failed the second time as well. Afaik this shouldn't be happening? I don't think After You is on the banlist either.

Replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9freeforall-1890240786 (turn 6)

We are also playing with a weird custom challenge format so here's the custom command if that helps:
/challenge Gen9FreeForAll @@@ +Past, +Unobtainable, +Future, +Custom, !Obtainable, + Acupressure, +Aromatic Mist, +Baton Pass, +Coaching, +Court Change, +Decorate, +Final Gambit, +Flatter, +Floral Healing, +Flower Shield, +Follow Me, +Heal Pulse, +Rage Powder, +Swagger

I dont think Dragon Darts into Rage Fist functions like its supposed to? I haven't done cart research though. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...-1890548922-3wyhg0ognrv2j5snlu1ioi9r0sbc6t3pw

my gen9doublesou elo was reset to 1000 for matchmaking today. it doesn't show this on my /rank or on the actual ladder, but in practice i am fighting other 1000 rated players. this appears to be the only tier affected, playing on chrome & windows 10

the outcome of these 1000 elo rated games does appear to affect my actual ladder score as winning two games on the ladder has increased my rating by 2 elo and my gxe by .2%

below is another screenshot showing this lower elo and gxe prior to the above screenshot

When you put MissingNo at the editor the editor defaults its tera type to "Bird" (due to being MissingNo's first type). Trying to enter a custom game with the tera type like this results in an error message saying it's invalid. I feel like either tera bird should be implemented (bleh) or MissingNo's default tera type should be changed to Normal rather than Bird to prevent this error message to pop up

I believe I may have come across a bug regarding Ceaseless Edge.
I am unsure if it is game design or something to do with Aftermath.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9randombattle-1891383700

On turn 7 I kill the Drifblim with Ceaseless Edge & the Aftermath ability kills my Samurott, but should the spike from Ceaseless Edge not still be placed since the move went off?

I'm pretty sure this isn't a glitch same thing with Rocky Helmet, if you die from contact / aftermath ability (when using Ceaseless Edge) you don't setup spikes

see here

when using /suspect the suspect test for ursaluna in aaa is mispelled and says ursalana

Gen 4 bug regarding substitute + download interaction:
In gen 4, Download won't activate (or check the stats of a mon in a double battle) against substitute. I'm unsure when this changes as testing on cartridge in hgss, this is the case when using a porygon2 against Bruno's hitmonchan, while in gen 8 download works through substitute when testing in a link battle.

hi so I made a status and it cuts off before it actually finishes.
The status was: "Don't expect any PM responses, but PM me if you need something." - it cuts off at need.
Edit 1: I tried zooming out and I can JUST see the top of the last line.

Pokemon Showdown isn't handling some legal movesets correctly for Gen 1 Tradeback and Gen 2 formats correctly. These movesets are totally legal, but are being caught as false positives by the legality checker.

I am not a programmer, so forgive me if I am comically wrong, but I believe the problems might be stemming from the Gen 2 ruleset.ts file. It has hard coded illegalities in it that seem to be mistakenly using correct information for vanilla Gen 1 legality as valid for Gen 1 Tradeback and Gen 2 play. None of these illegal combos are illegal in RBY tradeback or Gen 2 environments for a whole host of reasons thanks to mechanics like egg moves and the Pokemon Stadium 2 move tutor.

I would also like to add this as an illegal move combo for that cluster of vanilla Gen 1 illegalities:

Screech + Leech Life on Golbat is an illegal move combo for Vanilla Gen 1 (but is totally legal for tradeback formats and Gen 2).

Golbat learns Screech as a level 1 move. Zubat cannot learn the move, so to get it, you'll need to catch a wild Golbat. The lowest level Golbat in Gen 1, as far as I'm aware, are the level 27 ones in the Seafoam Islands. This allows Golbat to be caught at a low enough level where you can obtain Screech, but Leech Life has been lopped off of it's moveset by that point. To get Leech Life, you'll need to catch one of the lower level Zubats and evolve that, which means you can never learn Screech.

I personally went out to catch this low level golbat and this is its moveset upon capture, devoid of Leech Life.

I think this goes here?
Bug with ignoring friend requests. This was after multiple times denying it and ignoring the user both on friend requests and normally (yes doing /ignore user does not work)

Hi, I encountered a bug during my SSPL game today. Here is the replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen8lc-700045

After Turn 23, my opponent's Porygon came in for the first time this game, and traced my Porygon's Download. However, I saw Download trigger first, so I assumed it was Download, and must have skipped turn before seeing the Trace pop up. Also, when I hovered over it, I didn't see (base: Trace). Download Porygon runs a completely different set than Trace Porygon. That made me not go Sandygast, which otherwise walls Trace Porygon and going to it could have changed the outcome of the game. Here's what I saw, and what the chat logs were (didn't see the chat because I skipped turn):

1688136467255.png
After the game, my opponent and I tested out the interaction, and here is the replay: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8lc-1894967169-4dqbvxee8vv8n55y5sgb2de22t7renbpw

Apparently, if the first time Trace Porygon comes in, it traces an ability it already has (Download) that also happens to trigger on switch-in, the game will think that Download is its base ability. Also, the traced Download triggers before the Trace itself triggers, which might be the cause of the wrong displayed base ability. Furthermore, after this happened, when the Porygon came back in and traced another ability, it said "(base: Dowload)" instead of "(base: Trace)", even though it traced something else. Therefore, this seems clearly like a bug, and it's a bug that can sometimes impact the outcome of games.

Somebody came up in NDOU with that replay, they thought the turn 8 Pursuit asked weirdly so I'm reporting that for them.

Kennedit: someone tested this a few times here if that helps give more information:
https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen9nationaldex-1895523633-7pxr22zvyo0oxtnsegxqqmn9k7ca4pqpw
https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen9nationaldex-1895515272-w68ntk7yrbeoeofwsefs88lgkhvxe9jpw

It seems like after a pokemon is revived by revival blessing, the first time they are switched in, they are able to switch out freely even if the opposing pokemon uses pursuit. If they are switched in after escaping pursuit the first time, they are hit normally.

BUG STATUS: FIXED (#9375)

Hello! Realizing a weird mechanic happening with Rayquaza's Air Lock and the activation of protosynthesis abilities after Sun is up. If Rayquaza comes in on a sun setter, and then a protosynthesis pokemon enters the field, after Rayquaza leaves the field and sun goes back up, the protosynthesis ability does not activate.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ubers-1896067156-2g8bt37yhnn5fvs7kub8tsu58pgg4scpw

You can see this occurring here. Rayquaza KOs Koraidon, and then Flutter Mane comes in to revenge it. Rayquaza then leaves the field, and sun goes back up. However, Protosynthesis does not activate.

To confirm this is not a visual bug, we tested this with Scarf Chi-Yu, who generally outspeeds Flutter Mane outside of Sun, but underspeeds it in Sun after a Protosynthesis boost to Speed. The given EV spread on Flutter should allow for the speed boost, and yet it is outsped by the Scarf Chi-Yu.

Not sure if this is how it works in game, but just wanted to point it out regardless. This may also occur with Cloud Nine, but that has not been tested yet.

Me and Nyx tested this on cart (using Golduck instead of Rayquaza for conveience) and while proto did not activate when Golduck was in, as soon as Golduck switched out, it did activate correctly.

EDIT: We also tested, and Cloud Nine does not make protosynthesis wear off if it proc'd due to the sun activating, it only wore off when the sun wore off. Video of this will be coming.
