I know it's a hacked version, but in turn 10 braviary used giga impact directly after using one the on the prior turn, like gen1 hyper beam.
This is intended behaviour in Fortemons, for some reason having multiple secondary effects in conjunction with sheer force seems to cancel all of them, including the recoil turn from Giga Impact. This is listed in the FAQ for the Fortemons Thread.
 
Gastly can learn Mimic from TM in Gen 1 and Move Tutor in gen 3 and the moves can't be passed with breeding.
In gen 2-3 hatched eggs should be lvl 5 (I think) and in gen 1 there is no breeding.

I tried to find the lowest level possible for a Mimic Gastly and I found different informations:

- Serebii lvl 4 caught in Crystal in sprout tower (is this an error?)
- Bulbapedia lvl 3 caught in Crystal in sprout tower

In gen 3 you can't have a lvl 1 or 2 Gastly

You can trade the lvl 3 Gastly back into a Gen 1 Game and give it Mimic. So the min lvl for a Mimic Gastly is 3.

Then why can I go on Showdown and make a lvl 1 Gastly valid for Gen 2 and Gen 3 OU? Is there a lvl 1 event Gastly?

Hi, i have noticed that some speed bugs have occured, its impossible with my Garchomp Jolly full spd +4 spd = 1332 spd be overtaken by a Palafin and a Orthworm without priority moves or anything that gives them priority over my Garchomp.

dragon tail has negative priority. it makes you move after every pokemon using a move in a higher prio bracket (which is almost all of them) regardless of how fast you are.
 
Hi all, there seems to be possible problem with the interaction between Lumina Crash and Tera'd pokes where the Special Defence drops are not coming. At turn 7, my Espathra uses Lumina Crash on the steel Tera'd Garchomp for a SpDef drop which never materialises and then again on turn 8.

Did you confirm that the weren’t using the covert cloak or clear amulet items?

This might not be exactly the right forum to ask in, as it is a bug with the website itself rather than with battle mechanics - but I can't find anywhere else to report it.

Sometimes when I select a format (particularly just after I open the website) on mobile, the format does not change properly. By this I mean, the text that says which format I am playing does change but the team I am using stays the same as the old format.

Then, when I try to play the format it tells me that I have to select a team but, because it's still on "random team" I can't?

Another way this happened was it let me have a team selected going into a random battle - then when I tried to start the battle it told me that I wasn't allowed to have a team selected (unsurprisingly) and to report the bug, which is what I'm doing.View attachment 499211
Refresh your page once or twice and it should fix it.

On Turn 8 I switch in Prankster Sableye on Prankster Klefki's Twave, don't get para'ed, cool working as intended. Turn 9 I outspeed and hit with Encore, force my opponent to hit Twave, then it works?

I'm guessing they clicked Play Rough and that puts them in a different priority bracket, not sure if this is how the interaction works on cartridge tho.

You pretty much got it right, since Klefki was now moving after you, the Thunder Wave it's now locked into is no longer considered like a priority move. If it wouldve used it the next turn it would have failed.
 
hello so when a mon consumes its eject pack, it isnt meant to act symbiosis (If an ally uses its item, this Pokemon gives its item to that ally immediately. Does not activate if the ally's item was stolen or knocked off, or if the ally used an Eject Button or Eject Pack)
however, in this replay you see the torkoal activate its eject pack and oranguru shares its life orb with the torkoal, which should've switched out before the symbiosis could have activated.This doesnt work with eject button btw, just weirdly eject pack.

Hey. In this replay Iron Moth and Iron Valiant are both EVd so Quark Drive boosts their Speed. On turn 7 Iron Moth first uses Booster Energy and then touches webs. On turn 16 Iron Valiant first touches webs and then uses Booster Energy https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-1830282252

Joined back this game after losing it normally to grab replay, and it asks me if I wanna forfeit it when i attempt to close it again

both room and replay because i'm not sure which is the most relevant one when it comes to this issue?

Hey, i've looked at previous posts to see if anyone had posted about this and saw similar posts, but they all involved destiny bond, which this doesn't, so I think its a different bug? There is a visual bug involving Illusion that I found while playing Broken Cup. If a Pokemon with illusion is sent out before the pokemon its copying, the game will show both Pokemon on the team once the illusion is broken, however, once the original pokemon is sent out, it will be displayed twice.

If the original pokemon then faints, only one of the sprites will grey out.

Then, once the 6th pokemon is sent out, the greyed out sprite will disappear and the non-greyed out sprite will remain.

So, even if the player has lost all 6 pokemon, the display will show them having 1 remaining.
