Bummer's Art Shack

Nahh, I liked the comic. My suggestion would be to either make the Jynx look more silly or more ferocious. Regardless of which you choose, I think their emotions should be dramatic to emphasize how ridiculous the whole situation is.

To build on Birkal's suggestion, maybe you could give the Jynx spoons or something? I think the strip is fine as it is, but given some of the other reactions maybe something like that could cut it. IDK.
 
I found the comic very hilarious, especially since I was reading it with the documentary narrator voice from the discovery channel. X D

Great works you have as usual.

Pass. All of the previous used only narrating, so throwing in a battle message would be going against the whole setting. But it'd work as a side comment, so I added it as a hidden message (hovering the cursor over the image).

The attacking Jynx looked psychotic enough, and if Vanilluxe reacted too hard it would seem detached from the otherwise realistic sceneries in previous panels. I can see your point, but I felt that enhancing the expressions further would be unrequired.

Thanks for the honest comments everyone. The strip is on site now, so I'll be moving on to the next project.
 
that ou logo is epic

One suggestion, though. I would make either Politoed or Tyranitar (preferably Politoed) shiny, since it would provide a bigger contrast between the two Pokemon.

It's more like I get better along with weaker mons, which probably stems from how I never used legendaries in-game since their stats made for an easy ride to championship.

also there's the fact that everyone want hub banners at the exact same time and I am but one mannnnnnn

i LOVE the genesect and rotom-w combo, their colors are also great

tyranitar looks like a fucking boss and ninetales is just cute, not to mention politoed~

poor abomasnow hahaha
 
Love the banner but personally I think Genesects colours are too harsh, they clash with the rest. Immediately draws my focus to the side when I should be focusing on the text and mons in the centre.

Edit: Yep, I much prefer the second re-done piece. Great stuff as always!

This can easily be attributed to the red color in his speedlines/lineart, which is warm in comparison to the other colors (although it is present in Politoed and Nines, although little).

I added another version where I switched it to purple. I try to be more conservative and only add new colors when neccessary, but I guess this could be one of those occasions.

Honestly, I think the Overused logo should be red so it stands out more. Right now the whole thing blends in with Genesect.

Also, loving Classy Bug.
 
That OU banner is epic. I hope that refined bug is bug/psychic, a type combination that is lacking in game.

Also, regarding story-telling. You were right that I had flaws in my comics plot. D: I didn't fully realize it until several weeks of researching things like 5 act structures and proper characterization. I guess I thought I knew what story-telling was, but, it was not so!

Loudred is an interesting Pokemon choice :0 I feel like Spoink would get the job done better, hehe
 
My team in White 2 is one of my favorites to date, so I figured I'd honor it with a drawing.

As good as he is, I've already drawn him before. Although there's still Grumpig, but eh, what's done is done.
