Good job ppl. good job.
You went out of the bulky-sweeper-tank/sweeper that CAPing (not only in smogon) almost everytime do.

I think our end result is by far the best and the process went the smoothest this time around. This is obviously due to Doug and Sunday (Great Job Guys!), but I think the community has also grown (and not just in numbers).

I feel like we finally have a well oiled machine running. And it has been great to see this project evolve into that. I can't wait to start playtesting as well. I only "tested" Pyroak for a little while, but I am quite excited to give this one a go. I have actually refrained from making a new trick room team, telling myself to wait for the new master to be playable. ;D

P.S. Doug, the only reason I didn't vote for yours was because I saw that what I knew your sprite was capable of (getting mass community support) had already been achieved. Yours was still my favorite. Just though I'd let you know, considering your last post in the sprite poll.

If we make Fidgit relatively short, then the weight will have to reflect that.
I know it has relatively long legs, but it looks like it will be pretty light if it's about human size.
Human size as in his body or overall package? If you saying that his body is about human size then Jesus Christ that's a big Harvestmen.

Although I just started getting into the whole CAP project stuff I believe that this one is pretty awesome and I plan to enjoy the next series of CAP's. Good job guys:)

This is the first CaP that I have not been active in, but I have voted on most polls and watched its progress.

This should be a VERY interesting addition to the game and I look forward to testing it.

Also Sunday I do not see a poll about whether it should have a pre-evo, was this discussed in one of the other threads or missed out?

Edit: Yes I just saw that, yay for more LC Pokemon!

A round of applause for Sunday and Doug for their excellent leadership in guiding this Pokemon from start to finish without a hitch.

As excited as I am about Fidgit joining the party, with the community ever expanding, and a dedicated website opening soon, I can't help but get really excited about the face of the CAP scene a year from now. It can only get better.

I just now realized that I've been looking at the art for Fidgit entirely wrong ever since it was posted. It looked like the body was upside down to me, with the jewel as its mouth. ._.
heh, I always wondered about those 'drill on its head' comments...

edit: how tall is the kid anyway?...

this look right to anyone?

^ I got 4' 6" but I'm playing as Dawn within my game.

Edit: D/P game character height and weight

Bulbapedia said:
Lucas is 4'7" (145 cm) tall and weighs 83.8 lbs (38 kg).

Dawn is 4'6" (140 cm) tall and weighs 75 lbs (34 kg).

Because I can. ;p Nah, two of the CAP Pokes already have icons so I thought Fidgity might as well get one and it only takes a few minutes to do. Someone else'll have to animate though. (because I lost Photoshop)

I've got to say, this being the first CaP i've followed all the way through it was rather fun. I can't wait to playtest it. Gravity, Trick Room, Tailwind. Utility heaven!.

Animated. Combusken is there so I can see if I animated it correctly. I think it's too slow though, but...

Anyhow, this was my first CAP and it was great! I'll probably start using it almost immediately after it is put up on Shoddy. If I can. Good job everybody!

I'm not sure if you invisioned it to be that size when you made it, but I always thought of it as pretty big. Like 6 feet tall, standing up like that with hands up.

Awesome, it's cool looking back at all the threads to see how far we've come since the beggining. ;D

Agreed, I see the body being the size of a baby or toddler, but the arms make it at least as tall as a full grown human (and much wider). I think it could easily form a 6 or 7 foot diameter sphere with its arms.

Yeah, I figured it would be pretty big... like 6-8 feet at least.
Don't know why, but I kinda pictured it as snorlax size, but obviously lighter.

Like this maybe...

That size definitely seems better. The hands on the other one just seem too small, and we all know the emphasis is on the hands with Fidgit (yay no more this guy).

I second this statement. I would have to say that if Fidgit was around 6-8 feet in height, it's weight would be around 100-200 lbs. How heavy is an average toddler as we could use that for it's body and hands(?)

I find out that the average weight for a male 24 month old toddler is 23.5 lbs.

9 x 23.5 = 211.5 lbs.

Eight 23.5 lbs hand swinging at you....decent club action.

Just something minor, but...

"A FIDGIT'S brain is capable of focusing on eight different actions perfectly, using each of its hands for a separate action."

its =/= it's.
One shows possessive and the other is a contraction. And seperate is the wrong spelling. =/

Eh, Salamence is four-legged though and doesn't have such long limbs. Garchomp on the other hand's 6' 3". I'd say we should keep it around 6-7 feet at most so we can keep the bulky element of the hands.
