ROCK? WTF ;_;
THE ONLY GOOD ROCK TYPES ARE RHYPERIOR AND TYRANITAR, WE'RE DIGGING OURSELVES A GRAVE HERE ;_;
Isn't that a good reason to create a good, speedy rock-type?

rock... we are not worrying about what pokemon are good with rock, its about moves
head smash? stone edge? plenty to go on
The purpose of the concept is to make something original which doesn't conform to existing typing-based stereotypes. Since a useful bulky electric already exists, how can you justify choosing electric without going against the concept?
Good thing this is only the PRIMARY typing pole meaning that there is no way our Pokemon can have any 4x weakness at this point.
TAY what you just said suggests you think the concept prohibits people from choosing Electric is a type. That would mean the Concept is illegal and could not have been allowed by Doug and chosen by Tennis/everyone. It Was allowed, therefore, Electric and all other types must be viable choices for the Primary Typing. We can criticise users' reasoning for choosing a type but we can't suggest they are going against the concept by choosing it.
Everyone please try to avoid poll jumping! There is no need to clutter up this thread with unrelated discussion. (OvaRia I know you're not the only one posting stuff like this; this is just an example.)OvaRia said:Everyone, the secondary type should be flying...It has to be.
1. Steel
Special-centric glass cannon Steel would be fun, especially if we could make it actually use its steel STAB, unlike Lucario.
More an anti-Dragon vote than anything. Dragon's potential for brokeness really worries me, especially with some people wanting one who can somehow tell something with STAB-ice moves off 116/114/121 stats to "GTFO". If an ice type with godly offenses can't stop a dragon, then what the hell can?
1 flying
2 ground
this new enough?

@Ubermunch: I suppose you are right in the assumption that we shouldn't be taking UU molds into account, but I imagine the community would feel a bit silly making something which might as well be an Altaria evolution...
