Cartoons!- The last shiny idea needs to happen. I have NO idea where you got the color scheme....*hacks up a lung coughing* But it still needs to happen.

As for the sprite itself, the thinning did it good. It doesn't look as cramped anymore.

So far, I'm liking Chaoscripplers sprite, although Wyverii's is also great.

That would be a good idea, it doesn't really look like a female pokemon at all.
I like wyverii's a lot.

I didn't do a sprite for Stratagem, and I'm not sure if I'm going to see this one through to the end. But, I really like Aragornbird's design, so I've taken a shot at spriting it.

I like the sprite very much. Maybe make the transition between tentacle and sword a bit more smooth? It seems a bit awkward for some reason.

I don't think that is a good ide. Because of good eggmoves and because almost all sprites with male and female, alredy solved the problem by taking away the beard for the female version.

I love Cartoons!. And I really would want the last shiny colour scheme on it to. Thought the transision between the "sword" and the tentacle and the "hook" and the tentacle could be abit more smoother on the shiny.

They fit with the concept art, and the male/female difference is an excellent artistic detail. Has my vote!

Cartoons! and Chaoscripplers are my favorites right now. They look calm, but ready to pounce too. They also don't have that look like they are about to fall and or falling.

First he sees something over the starboard side.

Then the ship hits a big wave and he loses balance.

Then a cannon rolls anto him and knocks him overboard.

Don't try to be TOO creative.

Chaoscrippler's looks the best in my opinion - though I think he's facing the wrong way. Simple enough to fix.

New pose which'll hopefully appeal to people more. By the way hydrolphin, never tell an artist not to be too creative you might inspire them to be too cautious which is far worse.

Chaos' is my favorite thus far. He gets the feeling of "bulky" while still keeping the sprite compact. Everyone else seems too fat and bulky. Takes up the whole area...

I like the pose, but the sword's tentacle seems too long, and the cut between the "feet" and the fist tentacles seems a bit sharp.

Doug's is currently my favourite. It is neat, looks bulky, yet is compact and ordered at the same time. It also shows its face straight on and shows both boxing fists and weapon tentacles clearly, something which a couple of other poses are lacking imo.

I have to agree. It looks neat, bulky and it shows all his offensive "fighting" tools and it looks pretty good

Improved the line quality in a few areas. The biggest change in moving the hook a little more away from the body, hopefully giving the sprite more room to breathe.
Will apply these changes to the female sprite when there's no more time for improvements.

Wow, Cartoons and Wyverii's are soo good! I wonder if the sprite polls will be as tight as the art poll.

Btw, I'm trying to make my own sprite and I plan to do it with a open mouth. Would CAP6 have a beak under it's moustache-beak or would it just have a black hole?

Okay, so they're looking in the correct direction, now. Thanks for pointing that out. I also noticed that the shiny's have the same color scheme as Metagross (and have the X over the face...). Unless it bothers anyone, I'll leave them be. >>
