I'm going for Bug because I'd rather save Dragon for CAP 38 when we do our Dragon/Steel Levitate poke with signature moves of Aeroblast and Psycho Boost. But I guess an Elec/Dragon wouldn't be awful, as long as it doesn't get Static.

went from dark to dragon. I'm hoping for an offensive poke this time around, or at least a bulky one, and dragons tend to be both.

bug isn't horrible though, and something weak to SR should probably be offensive enough to stick around, unless it gets a recovery move.

Bug
SR doesn't worry me, weaknesses to the most common attack moves in OU (Ice/Ground/Dragon) worries me.

Well, Bug's falling behind by 14... Yeah, always thought Dragon was probably more popular...

I just hope Bug can make a from-behind victory.

Dragon. honestly how cool would an electric/dragon type look. I also hate the Stealth rock weakness that bug gives.

Bug would be totaly awesome. Has any one seen the electric bugs in Twilight Princess? A bug zapper pokemon seems hilarious. Bugs in general have pretty unique movepools i.e. Volbeat, Forretress, and Butterfree. I bet we could give the CAP enough moves to utilize the ability without being stupid. (Octillery)

I was deeply rooting for Bug, for the simple fact that such a type pairing does not exist in the Pokemon universe. For that matter, I imagine Dragon does not either. Because Dragon has taken a bouncing lead, I'll put my vote behind it because I don't currently think Bug can make that rebound.

There is also no Electric/Dragon. Plus, just because its unique does not make it automatic CAP material, Look at Stratagem, who shares its type with 5 other pokemon. Argo's type was Poliwrath's, and Nidoqueen and NidoKing share Figit.
My support is for Electric/Dragon. Its because the role's of Dragon is to me, much broader than bug. Most Dragon's have atleast some kind of Support role Flygon's ability to scout via U-turn and Salamence's "Fatmence" for just examples. Bug's SR weakness is not a good thing, and only some Bugs do not receive a decent Support movepool Forry, Shuckle, Ninjask, Ledian, Vespiquen, and to an extent Scizor.

Dragon. Dragon is needed to handle other dragons. Bug is nice, but I feel it's more complicated to give a Bug type moves.

I voted for Dragon, since its easier to finish CAP8, as there is more fun and less complications when thinking around a Bug's typing. (Dragon just seems much more straight forward)
