Project CAP Teambuilding Lab

May I request a cap sv hazard stack team with :kitsunoh: as a spinblocker and :krilowatt:

Sorry for late response. I was trying to build this core but it was really awkward; I ended up stealing 6 I found on ladder since it looked pretty solid.

:Equilibra::Arghonaut::Kitsunoh::Krilowatt::Mollux::Corviknight:

I didn't have the original EVs/teras so I put some sets I thought looked good. Corv here is more SpDef to deal with Kyurem (hence Iron Head xd), though AV libra might be enough. Most of the rest of the team is pretty standard; just set up Spikes and deny spin with Kit.

Anyways, I don't have too much to say about this since I didn't come up with most of it.

As a bonus, this was the team I was testing when I ran into it. Not happy with a lot of the sets here, and I think the build overall is kinda awkward, but I think the Zama set is cool in current meta at least. It's not as good as the previous team though, "literally won by luck" :')

Greetings I'm back again with another DPP request for a :machamp:team!!
Machamp is one of the most frustrating Pokemon you can face in dpp ou and it can become a solid wincon for opponent if you let it slip into a favourable position, thus prompting people to every so often seek tiering action against it . However I feel like its potential is quite widely unexplored in DPP CAP, possibly due to the presence of solid ghost mons, namely :revenankh: and :kitsunoh: that can easily switch into and shrug off the damage from it's 100 bp Payback (yep Payback hits switch-ins with doubled damage too), not to mention the NCure and lum berry spam and tendency of popular flying types like gyara, gliscor, Aerodactyl to run flying type coverage (sky attack, bounce) for argho, rev. Its currently ranked B-tier in the VR and didnt see much usage in capcl and cappl and mostly considered second-fiddle to other fighting type sweepers like loom, infernape and most of the times, Rev. Yet I believe Machamp has a totally unique and vast breaking potential in this meta thanks to its decent bulk and a good set of tools, we just need to find out the best teammates and team structure for it to do its thing.
sorry this took so long! I ended up making 3 different teams and just never got around to finalising everything, but they all seemed effective enough and are fun to use so enjoy

(SV) Oh, this is awesome! I'm not very experienced in this meta, and I've had a hard time figuring out an effective way to break into it.

My playstyle tends to err on the side of defensive - I used to be really big into stall, as a result of HO never working for me. But I also tend to carry a couple decent attackers, these days.

I've always liked Equilibra, in part because I am a Libra, and in part because the Arbiter of Justice concept is so amusing to me. I've always wanted a CAP team that centers around maximizing all of Equilibra's core strengths, making it the scariest mon possible for the opponent. Is this Trick Room, perhaps? Idk.

I did notice the two other Equilibra requests, but they both are offense-biased. I'd really like to see Equilibra shine in a defensive, and perhaps even stall, context.

Hello , may I ask for a BW Cap Team ? The mon in Focus will be SD Gliscor under the genre of bulky sand balance , The idea Behind SD Gliscor is that it both fit on Bulky Sand Magic Guard Spam things (https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen5cap-746122 [I no longer have the paste of the teamI used because my computer died , but the team I used on this replay of CAPCL last year is the general idea) and helps beat opposing bulky sand teams as their lack of threat level should allow SpDef SD Gliscor to set up , as I found out the mirror is very annoying when I do build these bulky teams , but I'm unsure how to make SD Gliscor fit under this general umbrella , so I'm asking for help in this specific case , thank you

Okay since Lasen's message wasn't direct enough I'll bite.

Giratina-Origin isn't allowed in CAP, since it is banned from OU, and we follow their banlist for our metagame. Arguably there are instances where we could deviate from OU in terms of tiering, such as the Rage Fist ban being decent grounds for allowing Annihilape back into the tier, but the exact policy around such actions are not set in stone. Even then, I doubt Giratina-O would have a ton of support for being freed.

Point being there is not a ton of interest for someone to spend time making a team with a Pokemon that you cannot use in any supported CAP metas (i.e. Showdown ladders, CAP room, forum tournaments). If you wanted this team for some other reason like a draft league or just to play against friends, it would help to know that explicitly: otherwise your request seems to be for a team you wouldn't be able to even use anywhere, which calls into question why it's being made at all.

I would like to request an sv CAP team featuring final gambit/healing wish scarf :aurumoth: and sturdy :ogerpon-cornerstone: (and it would be nice if you could implement :venomicon: or :venomicon-epilogue:)
thanks m8 I didn't know that

Well... knowing this info... could you make a SV balance team with a Dragapult and Epilologe Venominon? or regular Venominon, that works too
hey there, I'm not an official builder but got approval from kenn to post a few builds here.

https://pokepast.es/cf1c9d51baab148b - this one is for the top request by Turtwigswiththrohs. The team's a HO featuring Scarf Healing Wish Aurumoth and Cornerpon. I found that Aurumoth was rather useless in my tests, but it provided occasional utility to heal up Cornerstone and was able to clean up a few weakened teams, just enough for me to not swap it to Final Gambit. Caribolt and Iron Treads both provide hazard control for Sturdy to stay active, while Cornerpon and Epiloguicon are great breakers in their own right. Finally, Booster Valiant provides great speed control, cleaning potential, and an emergency Encore to stop dangerous boosting threats for a bit.

https://pokepast.es/41fd15e82fcee2a0 - the second request by Jedijk211. I think regular Venomicon would be far better here, but the offensive output Epiloguicon puts out is quite nice and Rocks is always appreciated. It just feels like it wants more speed, but then it lacks power in some instances as well - it has potential if used well, but you'll have to position really well for it to work. I think regular Venomicon is better here - the extra bulk makes the rest of the team far more flexible without having to stack resistances, and it's a better Rocker anyways.

:Aurumoth::Ogerpon-Cornerstone::Venomicon-Epilogue::Quaquaval::Fidgit::Syclant:
CAP UU gaming.
I'd like to request a Gen9 CAP offensive team centered around Greninja-Bond.
My reason for this is I usually am better with more offensive teams and Greninja-Bond is my favorite pokemon currently in the game
:Greninja::Cresceidon::Iron Moth::Kyurem::Zamazenta::Equilibra:
:Pelipper::Raging Bolt::Barraskewda::Equilibra::Mollux::Greninja:
The rain team is a lot better.

Evil fat team, don't load on ladder or unsaintedXD will be mad.
Can I ask for a Screens HO featuring Astrolotl in either gen 9 CAP or CAP UU?
Thanks.
:Astrolotl::Quaquaval::Venomicon-Epilogue::Cawmodore::Serperior::Saharaja:
Last slot is a bit weird, I think this is farmed so hard by Skeledirge. Not sure how to deal with it, maybe Exca > Raja and accept worse Slowking MU.

Oops, didn't see "balance" until team was done... I think Veno-E fits on offense much better than balance anyways though.

thank you so much Spammernoob !!! I'll make sure to run the team only when unsaintedXD is is not online!! ^~^

Just got out of my first match - got completely floored xD - proof that anti-stall haters can suck it. I've definitely got some learning to do. But what's most important is, I had a lot of fun! This is the most fun I've had battling since Natdex AG ladder got cooked/Yawn got banned. I look forward to playing this team, learning it, learning CAP with it, and tweaking a copy of it to learn more and more.

I appreciate immensely the time you took to make teams for so many people. Thanks a bunch, again!!!!^~^

May I have a team with Chuggalong and a Shox Please? (also how do I get the little pictures of them to appear)
Not a builder, but if you're talking about these pictures: :chuggalong: :shox:, you can get them by writing :chuggalong: and :shox: in any post of yours. The pictures won't appear straight away, but if you preview or publish your post, the codes will be converted into them.
