Pet Mod Crossover Chaos Expanded - Part II

Trying to think of something new that matches two themes at once may take a while so you have to put up with this again in the meantime...
"Bing bong~" - Let The Music Play!, Council of Nice Hats
Pokemon: Crazy Frog
Franchise:
Crazy Frog
Type:

Ability: Emergency Exit, Annoying Ride
Annoying Ride: If this Pokemon makes contact or another Pokemon makes contact on this Pokemon, this Pokemon will switch out
Notable Moves: Double Edge, Aqua Jet, U-Turn, Extremespeed, Accelrock, First Impression, Agility, Taunt, Parting Shot, Steamroller, Heat Crash, Wild Charge, Shift Gear, Gear Grind, universal moves such as Substitute
Stats: 79 / 104 / 53 / 47 / 76 / 151 (510 BST)

Reasoning: It's the early 2000s. You're minding your own business, watching TV but not really paying attention since you're mucking around with the in-built ringtones and playing Snake 2 on your new Nokia 2100. Then you hear it. You hear the bing bongs and the ding dings. Looking up you see the hideous creature on the TV screen flying around a nondescript city pretending to be riding a motorcycle, seemingly propelled by its own flatulence. Though slightly intrigued due to the poorly censored dick and balls hanging between its legs, you disregard everything you just saw when you realise it's just an ad for a ringtone ($2 for monotone / $5 for polytone + 55c per text). Half hour later you see the ad again. And again. It seems every ad break is showing this essentially naked frog at least twice. A friend sends you a 'free' version through MSN messenger but unwittingly just spread a worm virus. There is now no escape from the omnipresent frog that now haunts your every waking moment with its annoying yet catchy song and dick hanging out. Out of nowhere the blue gremlin has released two chart topping albums, including a cover of Jingle Bells. There are cartoons, video games with sequels. Nothing is left untouched and nothing is sacred from the Annoying Thing. Every time someone's phone rings it triggers a ptsd-like reaction. It's relentless. There are no sanctuaries free of this abomination. Just as you're about to cave in to temptation and text that premium number so you too can join the infected masses, just as your sanity is about to break, just as the world is about to fall into chaos and ruin, you find a new viral ringtone, Schnappi das kleine Krokodil. Thus the cycle continues...

formerly Ticktock
Image result for father kids next door

Gets the "Father's Day" and "Concentrated Evil" bonus.
Pokémon: Father
Origin: Codename Kids Next Door
Type: Dark/Fire
Abilities: Berserk/Flame Body/Technician
Notable moves: Fiery Wrath, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fireball, Nasty Plot, Burning Jealousy, Fire Punch, Overheat, Will-O-Wisp, Dark Pulse, Foul Play, Fling, Nasty Plot, Parting Shot, Snarl, Taunt, Telekinesis, Superpower, Dragon Breath, Defying Gravity, Double Team, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Thrash, Rage, Smokescreen, Dragon Claw, Flare Blitz, universal moves since Gen 3.
Stats: 110/80/80/120/95/95 (580)

Image result for father dragon knd

Form: Father-Dragon (functions like Mega Rayquaza, requiring Dragon Pulse in his moveset)
Type: Dark/Dragon
Ability: Flames of Fury
Stats: 110/100/90/150/105/125 (680)

Reasoning: Father, real name Benedict Uno, is the main villain of Codename Kids Next Door. Being that makes him worthy for Dark, as well as for his usually dark appearance. Fire's for his pyrokinesis in this form, as wall as for all the Fire-type moves. He has Berserk for anger, Flame Body for the fire aura, and Technician for his surprising mechanical genius. Fiery Wrath and other Dark-type moves are standard, plus the former represents his usual fire aura. Telekinesis is for his said ability, a few moves to display his anger, and also Smokescreen and Double Team for his smoky clones. He can also morph into different animals in certain situations, including the Mega-like Dragon form, where he gains the Dragon-types for you know what, but also Flames of Fury to keep his Fire-type STAB. His stats reflect his pyro-wielding powers and also some decent speed and surprisingly HP for his good stamina, which are improved upon in his Dragon form.

Image result for GIFfany

Gets the "Council of Nice Hats" and "Concentrated Evil" bonus. (Do ribbons count?)
Pokémon: GIFfany
Origin: Gravity Falls
Type: Electric/Fairy
Abilities: Download/Cute Charm
Notable moves: Nasty Plot, Partial Deletion, Imprision, Command, Embargo, Thunder Wave, Psych Up, Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Trick, Last Resort, Destiny Bond, Mean Look, Discharge, Spark, Volt Switch, Charm, Baby-Doll Eyes, Dazzling Gleam, Pursuit, Iron Defense, Shock Therapist, Pixel Gun, Teleport, Sweet Kiss,
Stats: 90/60/75/120/75/70 (500)
Reasoning: The sorta proto-Monika in a lot of ways, although enhanced since she's not based in real life. Electric/Fairy is mainly for her inept ability to be a living spark, and Fairy just for cute appearances. Cute Charm as well. Her movepool and stats are a lot like Monika's, but several moves are removed and also her stats rearranged for a slower, more tanky build. However, she does gain a few more moves to represent her ability to control and shoot out electricity when she possessed an animatronic beaver girl, Pursuit for her hunting of Soos, Teleport for her traveling between different technology, and just a few general Fairy-type moves to fill out that type's representation.

"It wasn't much to look at, but he captured the hearts and minds of dozens, nay, severals of internet viewers." - Spinning Off, Let The Music Play!
Pokémon: The S Is for Sucks Dragon
Type: Dragon/Fighting
Ability: Guts / Intimidate
Moves: Acupressure, Blaze Kick, Coil, Dragon Rush, Earthquake, Facade, Glare, High Jump Kick, Iron Tail, Jaw Lock, Knock Off, Low Sweep, Mach Punch, No Retreat, Obstruct, Poison Jab, Quash, Roar, Spikes, Taunt, U-turn, Vacuum Wave, Waterfall, X-Scissor, Yawn, Zen Headbutt
Stats: 120/120/100/80/80/100 | 600 BST
Reasoning: What started out as a failure preceding the creation of Trogdor, Strong Bad celebrated five years later. Dragon typing is obvious, Fighting typing and Guts represent its beefy limbs, and its angry eyebrows and daunting physique bring Intimidate to mind. It has a move for every letter of the alphabet because the aforementioned celebration was in the form of an alphabet song.

(Sure it's another Fighting-type, but Crossover Chaos has no Dragon/Fighting.)

The tone of its body was like a red sun, carefully designed to show an overwhelming sense of presence. - Characters of Unusual Size, Eclipse
Pokémon: Deen
Type: Steel/Fairy
Ability: Forever Functioning - Deen is immune to status conditions. (Hard-coded)
Moves: Regigigas' movepool + Meteor Mash, Spirit Break
G-Max Move: G-Max Core Fuel - Steel | Boosts the Attack, Defense, and Special Defense of the user.
Stats: 200/100/100/50/100/50 | 600 BST

Reasoning: Deen is described as a mobile doll crafted from Rare Sacred Iron by the Colony of Faeries. It stands over 30 feet tall, and each of its hands is the size of two humans. Even if it was infected with a disease it would not fall; the forever functioning magic being will always stand up. (Source: light novel, Volume 2)
Its Gigantamax form is a reference to how Asuka Kudou uses her Gift, Authority, to augment its size and power such as in Volume 4.
Just as Black Rabbit is similar to Lopunny, Deen is similar to Regigigas. However, it's at least 2.5 times as large (and similarly dense, so...safe to say it weighs at least 999.9 kilograms?) yet not as significant, so its base stats are adjusted accordingly.

(Similarly to the above, CC has no Steel/Fairy apart from forms, let alone in Expanded.)

Pokemon: Giorno Giovanna
Franchise: Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
Type: Fairy
Ability: Steadfast / Regenerator / Gold Experience
Signature Ability: Gold Experience | If the user is holding an item, excluding Requiem Arrow, heals 1/16th HP every turn
Stats: 80 / 105 / 80 / 115 / 95 / 80
Moves: Aromatherapy, Bullet Punch, Bulk Up, Calm Mind, Close Combat, Doom Desire, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Giga Drain, Growth, Horn Leech, Iron Head, Leech Seed, Mach Punch, Magnet Rise, Moonblast, Power Whip, Psychic, Recover, Sense Acceleration, Superpower, Synthesis, Trick, Wish
Signature Moves:
Sense Acceleration | Fairy | Physical | BP: 90 | Acc: 100 | PP: 24 | 30% chance to flinch

1612979038331.png

Mega Evolution (must be holding Requiem Arrow): Giorno Giovanna-Requiem
Type: Fairy ---> Fairy / Steel
Ability: Steadfast / Regenerator / Gold Experience ---> Gold Experience Requiem
Signature Ability: Gold Experience Requiem | This Pokemon cannot take direct damage.
Stats: 80 / 120 / 105 / 140 / 110 / 100

Description: he has a dream
Fairy cuz relation to life/nature (see tapus+comfey)
Steadfast cuz his resolve, Regen cuz healing properties, GE cuz his ability to turn inanimate objects into body parts
Gets the punchy moves, some grass moves cuz his ability to create plants, Trick since he was a former thief
Sense Acceleration works the way it does cuz his ability to imbue life into already-living objects causes one to think theyre moving but theyre not (hard to explain sorry)
Mega is broke because GER is broke; GER resets actions to zero, hence inverse Magic Guard

Slate Reasoning: Brought Buccelatti back to life, manipulates fate with GER

1612979122253.png

Pokemon: Doppio Vinegar
Franchise: Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
Type: Psychic / Normal
Ability: King Crimson
Stats: 75 / 70 / 65 / 60 / 80 / 96
Signature Ability: King Crimson | Moves 60 BP and under have +1 priority. Switches to Diavolo form before using affected moves.
Moves: Brick Break, Brutal Swing, Confusion, Covet, Dark Pulse, Detect, Double Edge, Epitaph, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Force Palm, Knock Off, Last Resort, Mach Punch, Nasty Plot, Night Daze, Parting Shot, Payback, Power Trip, Power-Up Punch, Psychic, Psyshock, Rock Smash, Shadow Ball, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak, Spite, Stomping Tantrum, Teleport, Thief, Throat Chop, Work Up, Zen Headbutt
Signature Moves: Epitaph | Psychic | Status | BP: -- | Acc: -- | PP: 16 | The user is protected from attacks made by other Pokemon during this turn. If a Pokemon tries to attack the user, the user has their Attack raised by 1 stage.

1612979203700.png

Pokemon: Diavolo
Type: Psychic / Dark
Ability: King Crimson
Stats: 75 / 130 / 95 / 100 / 80 / 96

Description: 21st century schizoid man
Psychic cuz time manipulation, Normal for doppio since he has almost no power in this form, Dark for Diavolo cuz his name means devil and apparently there's a theory that Diavolo is the actual devil? either way he's evil and edgy looking so that should be enough
King Crimson works the way it does cuz it skips time, hence the priority stuff. Doppio can't actually use King Crimson himself, hence the form change
No Close Combat/Superpower or multi-hit moves cuz King Crimson doesn't do the stand rush stuff
Epitaph is the ability to look into the future and predict attacks, hence the protect effect

Slate Reasoning: Has a daughter (Trish Una), has two personalities

1612979246282.png

Pokemon: Natsuki Subaru
Franchise: Re:Zero
Typing: Normal/Dark
Ability: Return By Death
Signature Ability: Return By Death | Randomly reveals 4 of the following on switch-in: the opponent's ability, item, or any of their four moves.
Moves: Confide, Dark Pulse, Double Edge, Facade, Final Gambit, Flail, Foresight, Frustration, Knock Off, Memento, Parting Shot, Return, Seismic Toss, Shadow Ball, Smokescreen, Submission, Sucker Punch, Tackle, Quick Attack
Stats: 60/75/65/35/55/80 (BST: 370)

Description: he loves emilia
Return By Death is an ability that turn backs time whenever Subaru dies. Therefore, Subaru is able to infinitely scout for his opponents' abilities and actions, hence why Return by Death here does what it does here
Dark Pulse, Smokescreen, and Parting Shot cuz of Shamac, which temporarily blinds opponents, allowing Subaru to attack or escpae
shit stats cuz hes really weak
Final Gambit and Memento since his whole thing is dying so you know

Slate Reasoning: cheats death, is from Japan, which is a series of islands

For an anniversary slate, I think it's fitting to bring someone back from the first ever slate of Crossover Chaos Expanded - with improvements.

There’s A Boar"
Pokémon: Horace
Origin: Sandsverse
Type: Ice
Ability: Snow Warning
Stats: 100/130/80/85/95/90 (580)
Notable Moves: Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Iron Head, Iron Defense, Iron Tail, Steel Beam, Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Crunch, Bulk Up, Superpower, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, Stone Edge, Liquidation, Scald, Slack Off
Reasoning: A boar who runs an ice shop, and is also an ancient god. His appearance in the Sandsverse brought snow into existence, hence Snow Warning. He gets the Steel type from his occasional claims to be made of iron. He also has set things on fire and has blood that can be used as lighter fluid in an emergency, hence Fire moves. Reinforcing both Steel Beam and Overheat, and the reason for Scald, is that he shoots jets of molten metal instead of crying. He's also called himself a warrior a few times hence Close Combat. Biting moves, Superpower, and Earthquake are because he has, in his own words, "Big Teeth And Mauscles". Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, and Stone Edge because he shapes the earth with his hooves and formed a mountain when he first came into the Sandsverse. He also caused a gush of water at around the same time. Slack Off is because of how he just sort of slept through what happened during Elmer's Lent (a big disaster!)

also here's a new sub (who i considered making part of my honoka kousaka sub a few times, but i decided not to do that so here she is on her own)

well i guess horace is sort of a new sub since i redid him but you know what i mean

Pokémon: Female Singer
Origin: Love Live! The School Idol Movie
Type: ???
Ability: Flower Veil / Drought / Grassy Surge
Stats: 100/45/70/100/100/70 (485)
Notable Moves: Sing, Bestow, Teleport, Phantom Force, Petal Blizzard, Petal Dance, Whirlwind, Heat Wave, Gust, Tailwind, Defog, Solar Beam, Weather Ball
Reasoning: A nameless street performer who runs into Honoka a few times and dispenses advice. ???-type because there's no clear answer as to what the fuck her deal is or if she's even real. Sing because she's a singer. Bestow because she gives Honoka her microphone. Teleport and Phantom Force because she spontaneously vanishes when Honoka tries to introduce her to her friends. She also brings Honoka to a bright, grassy hill with lots of flower petals flying around, and also a lake. There's a gust of wind when she does this. This is where all her abilities and most of her moves come from. Her stats are mostly the same as Honoka's because of her similar appearance and history, but with SpD and Spe swapped since she's wiser and less energetic in comparison.

resubs - both fit Powerful Destinies and Morality Shift

Pokémon: Theresa
Franchise: Class of the Titans
Type:

Ability: Anticipation | [HA] Phantom Rising (When hit with a super effective attack, transforms (see the spoiler).)
Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Extrasensory, Zen Headbutt, Brick Break, Power-Up Punch, Shadow Ball, Shadow Punch, Shadow Claw, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, Fire Punch, Surf, Waterfall, Liquidation, Night Slash, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Calm Mind, Amnesia, Telekinesis, Teleport, Reflect, Light Screen, Barrier, Aqua Ring, Rain Dance, Wish
Stats: 70 HP/82 Atk/60 Def/103 SpA/103 SpD/82 Spe (500 BST)

Reasoning: Theresa is one of seven descendants of mythological figures chosen to fight the evil Cronus. She is the descendant of Theseus. She has a sixth sense that lets her sense danger, and she develops telekinesis and telepathy down the line. She is also trained in martial arts.

Pokémon: Phantom Theresa
Type:

Stats: 70 HP/122 Atk/90 Def/143 SpA/143 SpD/82 Spe (650 BST)

Reasoning: Theresa eventually became tired of fighting Cronus, causing her to awaken an evil phantom inside of her that stole the powers of the gods, giving them to her. These powers included pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, lightning bolts, portals, and barriers. She then merged with the phantom itself.

Theresa @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Phantom Rising

Modest Nature
- Hurricane
- Silver Wind

Raimundo @ Life Orb
Ability: Xiaolin Dragon of Wind

Raimundo @ Yache Berry
Ability: Sword of the Storm
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Whirlwind
- Tailwind
- Defog
- Hurricane
Reasoning: Raimundo is one of four Xiaolin Monks chosen to fight the Heylin, being the Xiaolin Dragon of Wind. He has flown on multiple cases, often when using wind attacks. His signature weapon is the Sword of the Storm, a Shen Gong Wu that lets him create powerful wind. At one point, he abandoned the Xiaolin Monks and sided with the evil Wuya.

Concentrated Evil, Council of Nice Hats
Typing:

Abilities: Pickpocket / Anger Point / Unburden
Stats: 75 / 82 / 82 / 111 / 70 / 100 | BST: 520
Notable moves: Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Foul Play, Switcheroo, Knock Off, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Poison Jab, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, Mind Blown, Nasty Plot, Fake Out, Taunt, Toxic, Snatch

Mr. actual concentrated evil. He's not technically human, but since steel is boring i gave him ghost instead. Has more SpA because it's his words that hurt the most. Pickpocket because each of his clothing pieces have been stolen from the people who die in the game before we meet him, Unburden also because his clothes aren't really his own, and Anger Point because he angery. He has a lot of baddy bad and mischievous moves, whith notable additions including poison moves and spikes representing the end of chapter 2-1 and Iron Head + Mind Blown which are references to his eventual demise.
thats a video game character, he goes in the other one

For some reason this 2 year anniversary of Crossover Chaos Expanded is hitting me much harder than the first one. Probably because it's been such a rough year... Well, anyway, it's been... 2 years. Of this. Minus a small break for the sake of my mental health.

So, since I'm feeling sentimental, I'm going to write a big post about it.

I believe I first got the idea for this mod when I saw someone on Discord who wanted to make Vocaloid subs for Crossover Chaos. After a lot of thought (and an Aang sub) I ended up putting it in the OM Submissions it started, people got all excited, and there were almost immediately such amazing events as someone trying to reserve a sub like it was FE and a Donald Trump submission.

It was fun.

There's been good times, and bad times... some of them really bad... and I'm not really sure where I'd be right now if I didn't start it. Mentally, I mean. Pretty sure I'd be the same place physically. No way of knowing for sure.

I was going somewhere with this post but I think I've lost it, so I think I'll just close it here before I force myself to finish it and say something super stupid in the process.

Thanks to everyone for participating in Crossover Chaos Expanded so far. And sorry for making you put up with my bullshit.

More deities of middle earth ( there's a lot more where these came from ). They are known collectively as the Valar. They share an ability, Music of the Ainur, which I described in detail in my previous sub. These two are Aulë and Yavanna, a smith god and nature goddess, respectively. They are both creative forces whose powers complement each other.

They fit the themes of Eclipse (together they made the sun and moon), Let The Music Play! (see Music of the Ainur), Powerful Destinies (they will participate in a final battle at the end of time), and to some extent Characters of Unusual Size (they can be whatever size they want).

Pokemon: Aulë
Type: Ground / Rock
Ability: Music of the Ainur*
Music of the Ainur - on switching in, if the opponent has a Super Effective move, raises the defense stat corresponding to that move by 1 stage.
Stats: 111 / 125 / 137 / 109 / 111 / 87
Custom Moves:
Hammer of Arda - Rock | Physical | 85 BP | 100% Acc. | Super Effective vs. Ground-Types
Angainur - Steel | Physical | 120 BP | 80% Acc. | Traps and damages for 4-5 turns
Relevant Attacking: Hammer of Arda, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Angainur, Superpower, Sacred Sword, Fire Punch,
Relevant Status: Stealth Rock, Spikes, Swords Dance, Shore Up
Other: Rock Slide, Smack Down, Rock Tomb, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Sand Tomb, Scorching Sands, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Psychic, Future Sight, Zen Headbutt, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Hammer Arm, Hyper Voice, Calm Mind, Sing, Safeguard, Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Hail, Sandstorm, Iron Defense, Reflect, Light Screen
Aulë is the smith god of Tolkein's mythology, who created the substances that the world is made of and shaped much of the geography of Arda (the world in which middle earth resides). He also created two giant lamps that lit the world (which Varda filled with light), the Dwarves, and the vessels that held the sun and the moon. He is said to have delighted in craftmanship and creation, but always did so with humility, and in accordance with the Music of the Ainur (the divine plan for the world).

After shaping the earth, he was desperate for beings to share the beauty of the earth with, and pass his knowledge on to. He created the forms of the Dwarves, and taught them them a language he invented (Khazdul). However, he did not have the power to create conscious beings (referred to as the flame imperishable), so they were just automata. He was questioned by Eru Illuvatar (an all-powerful deity and the only being with said power) about why he had tried to surpass his authority by creating life forms. Feeling ashamed, Aulë prepared to smite his creations with a hammer, but surprisingly, they cowered in fear; this meant that Illuvatar had accepted his creations and instilled them with free will. The Dwarves loved the earth as well as the art of crafting, taking after their maker. However, they had to remain asleep underground until the time that Illuvatar had designated for his other children to awaken.

The creation of the world had been marred by the dark god Melkor's jealous attempts to subvert the other Valar's creations to his own designs. When Aulë's lamps were destroyed by him and his servants, the liquid that poured out burned the surface of Arda and carved ravines into the land. The Valar were discouraged and frightened by this; they retreated to the western corner of the world, where they created the island of Aman. There they erected a great mountain range on the eastern shore as a barrier between them and the now-darkened world. Aulë's wife Yavanna stepped up and created two immortal trees that shone with a light similar to that of the lamps from before (although this light was blocked from the rest of the world by the mountains they had created).

When the Valar discovered that the Elves, the first (planned) children of Illuvatar had awakened in middle earth, they suddenly realized they had left Melkor unopposed for too long. Melkor had found some of the Elves already and tortured and corrupted them. The Valar assaulted Melkor's stronghold, and Aulë forged the chain Angainur, which was used to bind Melkor and capture him. The Valar extended an invitation to the Elves to live in Aman where they could learn from the Valar and behold the light of Yavanna's trees. However, this required them to essentially walk from one end of the world to the other, and many groups of Elves decided to settle places along the way. When they reached the western shore, they were ferried to Aman on a moving island.

There, Aulë taught the Elves that had reached Aman his arts of craftmanship. He taught them not only to forge metal, but also the (later forgotten) art of crafting gems. This would lead to the creation of the Silmarilli: three gems that glowed with the light of the two trees, artifacts that would change the fate of middle earth forever. Among his pupils were some of the lesser dieties (Maiar), including Sauron (who used what he learned to create the rings of power) and Saruman (who used what he learned for technology and industry). These two disciples would later cause a lot of evil and suffering in middle earth; Aulë's creative powers made him similar in many ways to Illuvatar, but his weaker willed disciples' pride and lust for power led them to similar downfalls to that of Melkor.

Yavanna is a fertility goddess and the creator of all plant life in the Tolkein's mythology. The light of the sun and moon come from a fruit and flower of two trees that are her greatest creations. She begged Eru Illuvatar (the only being capable of creating sentient life) to create guardians to protect the plant life she had created from the other beings that would seek to use the fruit and wood for themselves: this resulted in the creation of the Ents.

Yavanna concieved the forms of many plants during the Music of the Ainur. These would interact with the other Valar's creations, growing in the earth Aulë had made, drinking the rain of the water god Ulmo, absorbing the light of Varda, and moving with the wind of Manwë. When Aulë and Varda created two great lamps that lit the entire world, she seeded her creations and made them grow. However, the dark god Melkor had plotted in secret to subvert the creations of the Valar, and he and his servants toppled the great lamps and poisoned the plants of Yavanna.

The Valar, discouraged and frightened, retreated to the western edge of the world, where they created the island of Aman, guarded by a great mountain range in the east. There, as the other Valar sat and listened, Yavanna began to sing upon a fertile mound. The tears of the goddess of mourning, Nienna, watered the mound, and two trees grew from it. The first, Telperion, glowed with a soft silvery light; the other, Laurelin, shone brilliantly with golden light. During the first half of a "Valian" day, Telperion would bloom with glowing flowers and its light would dominate. Then, Telperion would shed its flowers and Laurelin would bloom for the second half of the day. This began the first official reckoning of time, although it's not clear exactly how long this cycle took in terms of normal 24 hour day/night cycles. These trees lit the isle of Aman, but their light was blocked from the rest of the world by the mountains on the eastern shore.

After the Valar captured the dark god Melkor and brought some of the Elves to Aman (described in more detail in the Aulë description), many millennia passed in which the Elves and Valar lived together. The distinction between "High Elves" and "Dark Elves" comes from the fact that during this time, one group (the High Elves) lived on Aman with the Valar, while the other (the Dark Elves) lived in middle earth under the stars. Eventually, the Valar came to believe that Melkor had repented and reformed, and so they allowed him to be free. He ultimately betrayed the Valar, poisoning Telperion and Laurelin, and fleeing to middle earth. On his way out, he stole the Silmarilli, three prized gems that had absorbed, and endlessly shone with, the light of the trees. Yavanna and Nienna did their best to save the trees, but their efforts only brought forth one shining fruit from Laurelin and one glowing flower from Telperion. Aulë crafted the vessels that would hold and preserve these, and Varda set them in the sky, where they became the Sun and the Moon.

Phoenix Wings Rise| Flying | Physical | 100 BP | 90% | 10 PP (16 max) | Has a 30% chance to burn the target.
Illusion Demon Fist | Dark | Physical | 75 BP | 100% | 15 PP (24 max) | Has a 20% chance to flinch the target. Fist-move.
Signature Z Move: Ultimate Cosmo | Flying | Physical | 190 BP | Must know Phoenix Wings Rise. Sets sunlight.
Stats: 90/120/60/90/90/120 (BST 570)
Description: Ikki is one of the Bronze Saints, whose goal is to protect the Earth under the guidance of Athena. He first demonstrated this when he volunteered to train on the infamous Death Queen Island in place of his brother- as you can imagine, training in such a place left him a bit screwed up. The other saints were able to bring him back to the side of good (he was a bit brainwashed, but still), but he remains an outsider in the group. His armor, the Phoenix, allows him to control air currents and heat/fire, hence the typing. Flash Fire represents his ability to power himself up with prolonged exposure to fire (ie in an active volcano), with Regenerator subbing in for his second ability- like his constellation, Ikki can regenerate anytime he dies. As for the hidden ability, every saint has the ability to strengthen their Cosmo (aura) by removing their armor. Like all saints, he hits incredibly hard and moves fast enough to react to light-speed attacks.

For the movepool, we start off with his two signature moves; Phoenix Wings Rise blows heated air at the opponent, thus the burn chance. Illusion Demon Fist is Dark type because it kind of has the ability to destroy your target's mind if they're not strong enough (hence the flinch chance), and also because it was originally the technique of one of the series' main antagonists. Finally, his Z-move sees Ikki accessing the sixth sense of his Cosmo, which burns brightly and at full power is strong enough to transcend dimensions. STABs are all self-explanatory, as is Whirlwind (why is Whirlwind not Flying type?). Ikki has access to a bevy of Dark moves to complement his temporary role as a villain and his more merciless nature compared to the other saints. He also has a lot of Fighting moves since he's spent most of his life training; Aura Sphere, Focus Blast and Psychic all show the power of a Cosmo. That connection he has to the mind with his Sixth sense grants some Psychic moves, Scorching Sands for his training ground and Outrage because- remember Ikki's brother? Do not hurt Ikki's brother. You will probably die.

Pokémon: Spike the Dragon

Stats: 67 HP/73 Atk/53 Def/100 SpA/53 SpD/81 Spe (436 BST)

Reasoning: Spike is a young dragon who hatched from an egg. Like other dragons, he loves to eat gems, and he can dig for them with his claws and tail. He can breathe fire, and he eventually grows his wings, becoming able to fly. He became a friendship ambassador.

Pokémon: Adult Spike

Pokémon: Cat Shampoo
Type:

Stats: 98 HP/55 Atk/40 Def/55 SpA/65 SpD/100 Spe (413 BST)

Reasoning: Shampoo is a skilled Amazonian warrior. She fights using a sword, as well as two chuís. She also used fork darts and dumpling bombs. She has a technique where she jumps on someone for a boost, and one where she can turn someone unconscious, and then mind control them. She fell into the Spring of Drowned Cat, which causes her to become a cat when she is hit with cold water. She can only turn back when hit with hot water.

Lum Invader @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Wild Charge
- Bite / Boomerang
- Jump Kick
Reasoning: Lum is an Oni alien who comes to Earth and falls in love with Ataru. Her appearance gets all the boys to fall in love with her. She can fly, and use powerful electric shocks (that get stronger when she's angry). She can also absorb electricity, making her own shocks stronger. She chases Ataru around when he tries to avoid her, shocking him in various ways. Lum's horns can relieve the symptoms of diseases. She has fangs and occasionally bites with them. She did a jumping kick once, and sometimes uses a wood hammer (like many characters in the show). Lum uses various alien devices, including strength pills (Bulk Up), fossil revivers (Ancient Power), air conditioning ice blocks (Icy Wind, Ice Shard), memory erasers (Amnesia), weather controllers (Rain Dance, Sunny Day), boomerang disks (Boomerang), sticky guns (Sticky Web).

Pokémon: Arthur Boyle
Type: Fire/Electric
Ability: Oblivious / Moxie / No Wi-Fi (from Chrome Dino)
Signature Move: Plasma Blade - Electric, Special, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | High critical hit ratio. Super-effective against Fire. Becomes Fire-type if the target is weaker to Fire than to Electric. (Takes types into account, but not Abilities.) Physical if Atk > SpA.
Other Moves: Psycho Cut, Cut, Slash, Solar Blade, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Fury Cutter, Sacred Sword, Secret Sword, Aerial Ace, Feint Attack, Shock Wave, Sucker Punch, Feint, Vacuum Wave, Swords Dance, Work Up, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Detect, Foresight
Stats: 88/111/77/111/66/99 | 552 BST
Reasoning: A novice Fire Soldier who joined Company 8 with Shinra Kusakabe. As a third-generation pyrokinetic, he can generate trails of plasma from anything resembling the hilt of a sword. (Will-O / T-Wave reasoning: He has used this to weld for Company 7.)
Ability-wise, he gets Oblivious for being particularly air-headed, Moxie because its Japanese name translates to "Overconfident" (a personality trait), and No Wi-Fi because his plasma counteracts Haumea's electrical manipulation of thought patterns.
Feint (Attack) and Sucker Punch stem from the trick he uses to get by the feelers of Dr. Giovanni's insect form (can't have your thoughts read if you're not thinking), while Detect and Foresight are based on Benimaru's teaching to feel life on the battlefield.

Pokémon: Vritra-Draconic (Uber form)
Type: Dragon/Flying
Ability: Illusion / Regenerator / Wind Barrier (renamed Delta Stream)
Moves: Mew's movepool since Gen V + Draco Meteor
Stats: 100/120/130/120/130/90 | 690 BST

Using a key item called the Dark Matter Compressor (similar to the Prison Bottle), Vritra can change form between Draconic and Humanoid.

Form: Vritra-Humanoid
Type: Dragon/Normal
Ability: Illusion / Regenerator / Synchronize
Stats: 100/80/70/120/130/100 | 600 BST

Reasoning: "Black" Vritra is the originator of dark matter—the essence of dragons, a mysterious material capable of being transmuted into just about anything. She is the asexual mother of Kili Surtr Muspelheim, who uses dark matter as a means of creating counterfeit DNA (hence Vritra's relation to Mew, as well as Illusion) and healing wounds (thus Regenerator). (Volume 1 of the light novel was published mid 2013, i.e. during the fifth generation.)
At first, she wrought havoc in a gargantuan draconic form capable of flight (i.e. part Flying), but in Volume 7 of the light novel, she appeared to the Brynhildr class as a human (Normal) girl ironically resembling a smaller Kili (after creating a wind barrier, hence her signature Ability in Draconic form) in order to negotiate with Tia Lightning, the successor of "Green" Yggdrasil.

porg.jpg

Pokémon: Porg
Franchise: Star Wars
Type: Flying
Ability: Cute Charm / Frisk / Fishing
Fishing - Opposing Water-types can't switch out while this pokemon is in battle.
Notable moves: Tearful Look, Fake Tears, Feather Dance, Fly, Snatch, U-Turn, Roost, Body Slam, Dive, Surf, Talon Grapple
Talon Grapple - Flying / Physical / 85 BP / 100 acc / 18 PP / Makes Contact / Super effective against Water-types
Stats: 75/80/55/50/55/101
Reasoning: I just love Porgs. They are so cute and fluffy. The flying type is because they can fly. Cute Charm is because of how tiny and cute they are. Frisk is because of their curious nature and attraction to shiny things. Fishing is because they dive into the ocean to catch fish to feed their baby porglets. Tearful Look and Fake Tears are for the one scene with Chewy were they have a sad look. Feather Dance is because of their feathers. Fly is because they can fly. Snatch is because they can snatch things from you if it is shiny. U-Turn because of their speediness. Roost is because of their ability to fly. Body Slam is because they can't fly for that long so they would fall onto the pokemon like a body slam. Dive and surf is for their fishing skills. Talon Grapple is a way it can make use of Fishing by catching some fish.

wolverine.jpg

Pokémon: Wolverine
Franchise/Origin: X-Men
Type: Steel/Fighting
Ability: Adamantium Skeleton / Regenerative Powers
Adamantium Skeleton - This pokemon takes 50% less damage from all attacks. This pokemon can't have its attack lowered.
Regenerative Powers - This pokemon heals itself by 1/8 of its max hp at the end of the turn. When this pokemon switches out, it recovers 1/4 of its max hp.
Notable moves: X-Scissor, Metal Claw, Iron Head, Close Combat, Cross Chop, Counter, Revenge, Slash, Night Slash, Cut, Fury Cutter, Recover, Scratch, Amnesia, Behemoth Blade
Stats: 80/165/87/25/87/43

Reasoning: I've recently watched the X-men movies (finished all but a couple of movies) and was inspired to add Wolverine. This pokemon's steel/fighting typing comes from the adamantium skeleton (adamantium is an unbreakable metal) he had put in him during an experiment and his ruthless and killing past including being in the military multiple times. Its two abilities come from, as I just said, his metal skeleton and his other mutain power of super regeneration. This pokemon gets its blade moves from his blades that he has coming from his hands. The various steel and fighting moves come from methods of fighting he is seen doing from headbutting to stabbing and slashing. Recover is from his healing abilities. Amnesia is from the fact that he has memory loss and can't remember anything about his past.

"Ask yourselves, all of you, what power would Hell have if those here imprisoned were not able to dream of Heaven?"
Pokemon: Dream
Franchise:
Sandman
Type:

Ability: Bad Dreams, Illusion, Dream Realm
Dream Realm: All abilities are prevented from activating while user in on the field. Upon entry, all opposing Pokemon are inflicted with 'drowsy'. User is also immune to Sleep-status.

Notable Moves: Dark Void, Hypnosis, Spore, Sleep Poweder, Lovely Kiss, Grasswhistle, Sing, Yawn, Sleep Talk, Dream Eater, Nightmare, Night Daze, Night Shade, Psychic, Psyshock, Future Sight, Teleport, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Agility, Mean Look, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Wake Up Slap, Metronome, universal moves such as Subsitute.
Stats: 139/ 84 / 103 / 151 / 127 / 76 (680 BST) obviously uber tier

Reasoning: Dream is the Lord of Dreams and has control over the dream realm and all that is not reality. They are one of the Endless who are manifestations of reality itself and are as old as creation. Dream themselves can exist in dreams where he has ultimate authority and power but as an Endless he also has vast powers in reality including being able to appear in any form to blend in with whoever is looking at him. Though his powers include god-like abilities such as existing outside of reality itself, being able to manipulate reality at will, extra-dimensional teleportation, etc., this sub focusses mainly on their dream-related powers. The ability, Dream Realm, is a representation of how Dream can control anything that occurs within a dream. As lord of dreams, Dream has access to just about every sleep-inducing and sleep-related ability available. Dream is also omniscient, knowing all of history, past, present and future, giving them Future Sight. As sleeping and dreaming both have affinities with Dark and Psychic typing, Dream is Dark/Pyschic.

And Crazy Frog (again) but now with an actual reasoning just for Pika.
"Bing bong~" - Let The Music Play!, Council of Nice Hats
Pokemon: Crazy Frog
Franchise:
Crazy Frog
Type:

Ability: Emergency Exit, Annoying Ride
Annoying Ride: If this Pokemon makes contact or another Pokemon makes contact on this Pokemon, this Pokemon will switch out
Notable Moves: Double Edge, Aqua Jet, U-Turn, Extremespeed, Accelrock, First Impression, Heat Crash, Agility, Taunt, Parting Shot, Steamroller, Heat Crash, Wild Charge, Shift Gear, Gear Grind, universal moves such as Substitute
Stats: 79 / 104 / 53 / 47 / 76 / 151 (510 BST)

Reasoning: It's the early 2000s. You're minding your own business, watching TV but not really paying attention since you're mucking around with the dull, in-built ringtones and playing Snake 2 on your new Nokia 2100. The default ringtones you were just scrolling through all of sudden sound pretty decent in comparison.

Actual Reasoning: Crazy Frog speeds around a city at high speeds giving him access to moves that involve speeding and accelerating as well as moves with driving connotations such as U-Turn, Shift Gear and Heat Crash. First Impression is their because he has a lasting first impression after hearing the opening moments of the song. As he rides through the city he sometimes makes gestures at and eggs on his pursuers, hence Parting Shot and Taunt. Annoying Ride is his signature ability since he always escapes those that chase him. Flying/Water typing because he's a flying frog.
