Dota 2

Maybe they're worried wacky cosmetic creators will flood the Workshop like they did with TF2? Wacky hats fit that universe but they don't really fit Dota's universe.
 
Can't get a grasp on all the new mechanics/controls in this game yet. How do you snap the camera back to your hero? Switch back to controlling him immediately?
 
You can click the hero portrait, click the hero in the game, or press the button to control your hero, which is F1 be default iirc.
 
In today's test patch they added Chaos Knight, Gyrocopter and Mortred. Apparently they won't be released into the main client until Monday due to the qualifiers.

They were hinted at last week but it's nice to see Valve picking up the pace a bit. They're doing a good job.
 
Rubick is this week's new hero. He looks so sick =]

Apparently he also has some custom spell animations for certain Spell Steals.

Namely, riding his staff like a witch on a broomstick when he uses Batrider's Firefly.

Well done Valve, well done.
 
Also apparently he holds his staff in his mouth when he's using Lycanthrope's Shapeshift.

Or at least that's what it looked like, I was too busy to zoom in at the time.
 
Yeah, a bug in the test client was basically auto-stacking the creep camps forever.

In other news, disruptor is too much fun. I love how Valve carried over the bond between Axe and Thrall, except actually made it so they were related by blood (Warlock is of the same race as them as well)

Also, gummy vitamins.
