Hey I think this team has some merits, you’ve selected some good Pokemon with decent synergy to start, however your sets are very suboptimal.

For instance, Iron Defense + Body Press Zama is great, but then brick break doesn’t make sense on it because then it only has fighting moves and can’t hit common ghost types like Calyrex shadow rider & Lunala. So I’d replace brick break with snarl, which also lowers special attackers ability to hit it hard. There’s also no need for special attack EVs. Lastly it likely wants protect so that its allies can take advantage of the opponent targeting it and remove/incapacitate checks.

Then Choice Band Incineroar really doesn’t make sense, Incineroar is a support pokemon in doubles, able to switch in on a lot of attacks & intimidate, then click fake out to give its ally a free turn to operate, then parting shot out and further lower stats.

As for the rest of the team, I think this could probably benefit from a bulky assault vest Kyogre, replacing the chien-pao with a Trick Room Calyrex Ice Rider, and then having the last slot be something like Swift swim Basculegion to give you a fast attacker.

But ultimately, I highly recommend starting with sample teams at the front of this thread until you get a hang of playing competitively and understand the metagame. Teambuilding is arguably the hardest part, so starting with good teams to develop your skills is the best way to begin.

https://pokepast.es/d0a133dcbc62dc70 CSR arceus zama chienpao smeargle xerneas(not important,no body like you, booo!could switch in to kyogre, because miraidon kinda just directly telling you my smeargle dont learn spore)
I used this team get not bad grade at national dex double uber, and i hope some one could develop such a interesting arceus set, could change arceus' return in to double edge,i really really begging for someone try the silk scarf double edge arceus+ruination chienpao!and tell me is it work or not!!!

Hey, i'd like to share the improvement on my Groudon CSR & Miraidon Lunala Team. Flutter is bulky specs tera normal (to deal with CSR if necessary) and benefit from the sun of Groudon. Iron hand is invest in spedef and can tank a lot. With the electric terrain it do a lot of dammage and is here to fake out and volt switch when needed. Trickroom on Lunala is important against tw. Enjoy!

What Pokemon benefit the most from tailwind or work best in tailwind teams?
I like the core whimsi + koraidon/miraidon but whatever with some speed works I saw some lunala tailwind and crazy people with caly ice with some speed in tw, so I think whatever with speed or speed medium works
As tw setter should works lunala whimsi tornadus ho-oh
Really in tw you can run whatever u want

Pokemon that have good coverage, hits hard, and generally has mediocre speed. Some good examples are Groudon, Kyogre, Zacian, Lunala, Arceus forms like fire, ground, & fairy, and even stuff like Palkia can work well.

I've been getting back into this tier since Champions is not coming out on phones any time soon, and I was wondering: what Arceus sets, other than E-Killer, are most common? I've generally seen defensive forms with Judgment (or Heat Wave for Arc-Fire) and Tailwind, but I'm unsure what other moves I could fit, or what types are best.

OK, arceus formes and sets is something I really want to talk about,
First of all e-killer is the best set, your second move is flexible, while most people have shadow claw, I think stomping tantrum is the better move mostly because, the only real ghost types are lunala and caly-s, but with stomping tantrum u could hit a lot more stuff for super effective damage that u can't really damage with e.speed. zamazenta, zacian, magearna, and that solgaleo that comes out of nowhere.
Arceus-Fire is absolutely goated on double sun teams, mediocre everywhere else. With support from zamazenta nothing in the format can do super effective damage to it. I have tried physical arcus Fire and ngl its really good. Natural will-o-wisp immunity and having e-speed without wasting evs is really nice.
Arceus-Dark sucks. Weak to zamazenta, which everyone and their dog uses. Weak to dazzling gleam, which mirador uses to output unholy amounts of damage. Weak to zacian but that's really not a problem. It also dies to collision course which is a real issue. Its slower than the bikes which also sucks. But stab foul play, Tailwind, tr, and being able to hit both horses for massive damage is good. I'd say it's a tier 4 mon, being a dark Type makes it too good for being UR.
Arceus-fairy is FAKE. I have fought bagel a few times in ladder where he usually beats me with a team with arceus-fairy, but it's not due to that thing. It has no real resistances in this format, and is only immune to dragon which is not really as OP as on paper. Dies to specs miraidon, Tera Fire flareblitz, takes huge damage from Tera ghost astral barrage, dies to zacian, also takes a lot from behemoth bash, and is slower than the bikes which sucks. Tera really saved it this gen so I'd say it's a tier 3 mon.
Arceus-water sucks. This prolly doesn't need more justification.
Finally arceus ground. This thing is underrated as hell. In a format with 0 bulky ground resists, and a LOT of ground weak, ground is a fantastic typing. Groudon really isn't that good due to Will o wisp, but since arceus ground is special, it doesn't need to worry about will o wisp. Judgement hits so many types for huge damage. And since it's special does almost 90% to most zamazentas. It has all the coverage it needs so I'd say it's a solid tier 2 mon.

Also I have nothing better to do rn, that's why this kinda long

I peaked #3 - 1839 ELO (same elo as #2, but I could'nt push further) on the DUbers ladder, so I thought it was a good time to post about it here.
I suck at teambuilding so i stole took inspiration from this thread for all of my teams.

TEAMS

i have been using these 6 mons for a LONG time, and i have made a lot of changes to the team as u can see in the name of the paste, this final, meta adjusted version was made with the help of the man himself, Dr Hemington. This is also my most used team.

:Grimmsnarl: This mon puts the team together, screens are stupidly OP, the first slot is flexible, snarl/spirit break/sucker punch/ foul play are all viable. Tera steel is for resisting E-Speed.

:Groudon: This oversized lizard is a crucial part of the team. High horsepower is for hitting Zamazentas, and stone edge is for the ho-oh matchup. Tera fire is to avoid burns and a fire resistance, whilst boosting fire punch. I think AV is better than clam or soft sand since with AV u can tank a +2 astral barrage and fire back a high horsepower.

:Koraidon: Nothing big, just a normal AV Koraidon, part of the sun core. It can survive a specs dazzling gleam from Miraidon under screens.

:Arceus-Fire: God himself. This team is probs the only place where Arceus-fire is viable. Interestingly this guy runs judgement over heat wave. Im unluckier that unlucky itself so heatwave never hits both targets in my case, let alone a burn. Judgment is freakishly strong in sun. does MASSIVE damage to non-resitant targets and destroys steel types. Recover is for well, recovering and tera ground and earth power are for hitting opposing fire types and miraidon hard. TW is for turns u really need to outspeed that caly-S or scarfed bike, can also use Cosmic Power in that slot.

:Miraidon: Scarf miraidon tera ghost miraidon might seem weird, cause it is. Scarf surpringly out speeds a lot of threats even if they are under tw, and scarf is for caly-s endgames. Tera ghost is for the obv E-killer immunity but also for surprising lv.1 endeavor mons.

:Zamazenta-Crowned: This is an absolute beast. Snarl and wide guard for support, and if opponents ignore this for even a turn it turns into a threatening IronPress mon.

This team matches well against most normal teams. But since the core of the team is old, it struggles against newer meta stuff like lv.1 mons, u literally die against sturdy lv.1 mons like carbink and donphan. Tera ghost miraidon and snarl zamazenta help but u need to play very cautiously and make good predicts since non of the mons have protect.

i peaked 1800 with this team. Very solid team. i really like this team cant really find any flaws with this team. i made a few small adjustments in this team. Interestingly i made specs miraidon tera electric modest w/ scarf. Overall it is worse but it does help with the surprise factor and scarf is just more fun! Imprison wide guard zama next to Caly-S incredibly strong. And oh, Big thanks for traceyscetchit for sharing this amazing team.

These are 2 versions of a team I made fully by myself and it is surprisingly good.
1st ver. is ok but zacian seemed like dead weight, so i switched it with AV koraidon and i instantly shot up 1750 on my alt) it is a great team, quite simple, i could have probs gone upto 1800 but i wanted to use other team too. But this team is absolutely phenomenal. Flare blitz arceus and ho-oh do so much damage in sun lol.
This team is quite simple to understand and use so idt an explanation is needed.:mehowth: but im still gonna brief on it js for the heck of it.

:calyrex-shadow: It had the usual sash Caly set w/ taunt, but if the opponent sets up trick room some way or the other, i mostly lost 2-3 mons and was fighting a 3v6. so i needed to stop trick room and the best way for that was trick room imprison caly. i had already added koraidon in this team so i had 2 fighting types, so only having astral barrage as my move wasn't so bad, also i ran imprison zama, so my opponent cant use wide guard. thats fun for me, dont know abt them :mehowth: .

:zamazenta-crowned: this mon is so freaking good. a staple on all of my teams. it complimented caly-s well with imprison wide gaurd. i gave it coaching cause 3 of my mons where physical and could really use some defense. tera ground is for being immune to volt switch and firing back with b.press.
:miraidon: idk just a normal scarf miraidon, scarf felt better on this team, i tried specs, it also works as good.
:ho-oh: as i said, all of my mons could really use some defense, so burning them with sacred fire was fun! moreover tailwind was nice, i needed fire stab that hits hard in sun and since i was already using e-killer, ho-oh looked good, and yes, it was good! since i already had my own scarf miraidon, tera ground zama, and a sun setter, i didnt really need to worry about kyogre or miraidon, the two biggest threats to ho-oh. even if they some how position well and try to atk u, u could just tera and ho-oh def is great tera option.
:arceus: standard e killer, since i had 2 fighting types, incin was not a problem so i ran silk scarf over clam. i realized sun was up most of the time so i ran flare blitz and it was good.
:koraidon: this bike is really great. i asked advice from the doubles room and Yellow Paint told me to run koraidon over zacian and it was good, i tried groudon, it wasnt as effective so yeah, standard AV koraidon.

FINNALY THE BEST TEAM EVER, THE FUNNEST TEAM EVER, THE FUNNIEST TEAM EVER, THE idk TEAM EVER
PRESENTING U SAND TOMB GROUDON1!1!!!!11
FIRST OF ALL SHOUTOUT TO bagel for this fantastic team, without their team this team wouldnt have been alive.
:chien-pao: :zamazenta-crowned: :arceus:
this is a really strong core, interestingly tera ground zama is very important here for reason that i will tell later. +1 zama kills a standard miraidon when boosted by sword of ruin. arceus is paonite but better.

:miraidon: yeah usual scarf miraidon, no big.
:calyrex-shadow: its a nice mon. i ran taunt over encore cause i felt it was better and used more but idk. either is good. also caly-s along side wide guard imprison zama is freakishly nasty!

THE STAR OF THE SHOW
groudon.png

This shit is funi! lol. Imagine, you are the ruler of all land on earth. Your biggest enemy is a huge ass whale who controls all the water on earth. only to be captured in a smol ball by a 10 y/o and forced to throw a few pointy rocks at ur opponents side, burn them, and make ur face scary, and use a 35 BP move.

Jokes aside this groudon may seem very bad at first sight, but it is a true DISRUPTOR. I initially looked at the list of mons that had stealth rock cause i felt glimmora was kinda bad, ting lu was nice but since i already had scarf timid miraidon, i dint want ting lu to reduce my sp.atk, then i saw groudon a bulky legend with lots of support moves INCLUDING will o wisp and weather control. Ik this was the mon. Like this guy is absolutely goated. If u lead with zama and groudon, and opponent leads with mirai, u can tera ground miraidon and sandtomb with groudon, rendering their miraidon a sitting duck. I chose scary face over thunder wave to
1) hit miraidon
2) more accurate
3) u can scary face ur own zama inside trick room making it really good. Will o wisp from groudon is really unexpected. U can really disrupt setup with sand tomb.
I freaking luv this dude. And it is indeed better than glimmora in most ways, sure no t.spikes or mortal spin, but weather control, solid bulk and will o wisp make up for it. (see replay 5)
