Electro Dance Music

Nice show, Stallion. Always good to hear stuff of your own. ;)

@NatGeo: UKF Dubstep is electro, so yes that counts for this thread. :)

Anyway, I have been playing this piece of gold for a while today: Gareth Emery vs. Markus Schulz feat. Jennifer Rene - Not The Same Citadel (Armin van Buuren Mashup). Overall, I think it's an amazing track. The base song Citadel from Gareth is one of my favorites, and Jennifer's voice mixed in it sounds fantastic. You guys should definitely check this out! And while I'm posting this, here's a very good song by Armin van Buuren and Jennifer Rene: Fine Without You. Enjoy.

Okay I can't remember if I made the post in this thread or a similar thread on another forum but! okay just checked it was this thread.
So yeah the artists name is apparently dj Krush, I have yet to find any thing like the song on youtube and I haven't found it in any of the stuff that I've bought from him but I've been most satisfied in general. I'm really a giant fan of producers/dj that work a lot with rappers, as is the kase with dj krush (also: rjd2's first two albums I think? but they were good you should check it out)

I'm not really sure if this is electronica-y enough for itt but it's sort of amazing except for the ending. I hate fade outs that end too soon.
Anyways..
More:
DJ Krush - Yeah
DJ Krush - Lunation

Again I'm not sure if it's quite perfectly inline with this thread but it (wikipedia describes his work as instrumental hip hop, trip hop, and turntablism) is good so I figured I should post it

Slightly more relavent to this thread, I've been listening to a lot more glitch recently.
Telefon Tel Aviv has quickly moved into one of my favorite bands ever, I seem to remember something about them being mentioned itt but I could be delusional so here it is just incase.

Kim Cascone is the other artist/composer that I've been listening to more and more of. Slightly more ambient/less.. violent I guess? than telefon tel aviv. He has a litteral fucktonne of songs too, apparently he started doing stuff in like the 80's under another name, but it's all on a discography that I downloaded and it's amazing.

opened dmouse and reboot at the same time, but there was an ad on the deadmaus song about http://www.reputation.com/
I must say, music went very well with it.
I'm really enjoying Umet Ozcan on the whole after listening to arcadia as well.

Grove, great to see a fellow Ummet Ozcan fan in this thread. Great stuff! Setsuna, nice mashup - very catchy. VirtualKaraokeCircusAct, I'll check your songs out now.

Dubsidia - Kill Humans (Dirtyloud Remix)

If this song doesn't get your head banging and in the mood to party, something's gotta be wrong with you! Insane drop, especially with pumped speakers. Their whole channel is sick so check out some of the other songs if you get the chance :)

i actually really like afrojack as a dj, one song that i cant get enough of right now is "take over control" with vocals by eva simons. you might have heard it - its reasonably popular at the moment - but if not its definitely worth a listen! i especially like how it has both dance and trance influences at the same time, two great genres in one great mix

Thanks for the feedback Grove :) this is the first mix I've made that's been getting praised by people in the industry (the best line being from a huge promoter/talent scout who said that "so far this is the best mix I've heard in the competition") so I'm super excited about my prospects for the future. The track list is as follows:

Gaia - Tuvan (Intro Mix)
Super8 - Cre8 (Original Mix)
Sean Tyas - By the Way (Original Mix)
W&W - Beta (Original Mix)
DJ Eco - People (Rafael Frost Remix)
Rafael Frost - Slipstream (Original Mix)
Shogun feat. Emma Lock - Save Me (Original Mix)

Oh by the way nice contributions above as well :) funnily I heard a remix to "Invisible" about a week ago that I prefer to the Dirty South version above. As you said the lyrics are depressing so I like a catchier beat to kind of up the mood ;)

Skylar Grey - Invisible (Kaskade Remix)

Sorry for the double post but I had to share this with everyone:

http://soundcloud.com/3verest/3verest-foreshore-mix

This is for a huge music festival back home, and voting sites will be up in a few days. I think its technically my best mix so far so I'd appreciate if you check it out! I'll post a track list for anyone who is interested :)

Aw yeah bro, this is some sexy stuff!

I really like your use of fades in this track especially. I've got a huge hard on for tracks that fade in and you do this so good in this mix mmmm
But yeah, like usual, you are a master at going from track to track, and you picked some really great ones to mix in this! Progressive is like the best stuff to listen to when you're drawing and I'm definitely going to have this playing while I do in the near future.
Also it's really cool that scouts are noticing you!! That is so awesome :D It would be insane if something got sparked! I'm wishing you the best dude, you deserve it :)

Will not let this thread die! :S

Ingrosso and Alesso - Calling

Dirty South and Thomas Gold - Alive feat. Kate Elsworth

Deadmau5 - Some Chords - Kinda old, but I like this one.

Tiësto - Maximal Crazy - A new Tiësto song?!?! It's growing on me.

David Guetta and Avicii - Sunshine - Sounds kinda similar to the one below...

Avicii - Bromance - Sounds kinda similar to the one above...

Swedish House Mafia - Save the World - Not sure if this is a repost, sorry if it is!

Some cool songs Grove, I'll have to check them all out. As for my tracks, they might not all be new but I don't remember them all being posted so yeah here goes!

Armin van Buuren - Orbion (Max Graham vs Protoculture Remix) - Remix of an absolute classic

Armin Van Buuren presents: Gaia - Tuvan (original mix)

John O'Callaghan & Giuseppe Ottaviani - Ride The Wave (Giuseppe Ottaviani Mix) - One of my favourite tracks I've heard in awhile.

Paul Oakenfold - Full Moon Party (Original Mix) - Most upbeat energy pumping song I've heard in awhile.

Headstrong Feat Stine Grove - Tears (Aurosonic Progressive Mix)

Space RockerZ & Tania Zygar - Puzzle Piece (Daniel Heatcliff's Farewell Remix)

Sean Tyas - Lift (Original Mix) - Probably in my top three tracks for the month, everything Sean Tyas touches is amazing.

W&W - Beta (Original Mix)

Andy Moor ft Sue McLaren - Fight The Fire (Vocal Club Mix) - Beautiful vocals, great track.

I've got more but I can't give you guys everything in one go ;).

By the way I have a favour to ask of you smogon. You know that competition I mentioned about a week ago in this thread? Turns out I've gotten a fair bit of support for it but for me to make the final and potentially DJ at a music festival I need your help. Voting only takes a minute (I promise) and would mean so much to me :).

I'm actually surprised somebody here knows about 3ball. It's hot as shit over here. Partys every weekend with because of 3ball. Don't got a problem with it though, so many fine ass girls I don't even mind it.

@ Professor Lamb. Dash Berlin is amazing, hoping to watch them at Stereosonic in Melbourne this year. Also guys I'll be back with some actual songs later today or tomorrow, but just wanted to let you know that votes for the Foreshore SoundSearch competition close in 3 days. I have a chance to be DJing at a music festival so if you could all vote using the link below I would be so so greatful :)

Link to vote for me!!

Thanks in advance! For any Australian voters (and Americans/others in Australia!) I'll have to share my bar tab with you that I'll get if I win ;).

Dirtyphonics - French Fuck VIP Just popping in to say I'm way late at, but just discovered the Dirtyphonics. They are an incredible DnB group who dabble in dubstep afaik. This song is free to download in HQ from their facebook page if you just like it. It's pretty cool. They also have WARP which is about my favorite dubstep song to date. It's more than just heavy bass, its heavy bass with a ballin rhythm.

Just getting into Dirtyphonics, They have a couple killer remixes of other DnB / Dubstep tunes. The Me & You one especially takes a Dubstep tune aimed at the masses, and turns it into a proper dancefloor tune. The drop is just incredible:

I'm guessing they want to see the validity of any vote and/or the demographic both for interest purposes and so they can easily catch anyone they suspect of cheating by using fake details to vote multiple times. Thanks heaps for voting :D

@ Imran, Dirtyphonics have some of the nastiest drops and remixes of popular songs. Love them!
