Fire Emblem: DS

The battle and map graphics look pretty ugly. I don't like how it looks graphically at all. They could have done better, and I probably wont end up getting it. :\
 
Didn't they announce this a long time ago? In any case I'll be getting it, as it's my favorite series. Chances are it will open up another DS game after this one just to cover 2 and 3 as well. Wheres the love for 4 and 5? Needs virtual console action now.
 
The art looks nice but I dunno about the sprites/battlefields. FE is a favorite series of mine and I'm glad it's returning to portable systems, though I'm disappointed it's a remake and not an actual new game.
 
I don't think the graphics are too bad. I'm really liking the character portraits and artwork.

Considering FE1-6 weren't released in the US, I don't mind a remake. An official translation of the story will be very nice.

So...no word on a release date at all, besides '2008', it seems.
 
Yeah it was announced last year I believe, in any case I'm yet another fan of the series and will be picking it up. I've seen all the screenshots and stuff, can't wait to play this thing when it comes.
 
As big as a fan of FE that I am, the battle graphics look...weird. The cavalier guy just looks like he tilted up a little to attack the opponent instead of doing the usual cool animation. Ah well, only more screen shots will tell.

Anyway the art looks great, better then the GBA series in America. I can't play ROMs, so a good ol' Fire Emblem remake (with Marth, aw jeah) is perfectly fine with me. What really gets me pumped is the Wifi battles we'll be able to have; I was really hoping for that in Radiant Dawn. Only time will tell now; I'm guessing E4 2008 as the release date or so.

Edit: Now that I've seen Serenes Forest, the graphics still don't look as pleasing as I wanted. It looks more 3D, but with less quality. Almost a runescape-ish feel to it (ugh). I almost feel like FE7 had better, but hey, it's a remake.
 
Hopefully the battle animations get a little work done before the game comes out, other than that as a huge FE fan I cannot wait for the game to come out, because this year sucks for the Ds. Days of Ruin and FFCC rings of Fate are the only games other the FE that look good to me.
 
Huge FE fan myself, unfortunately never got around to 1-3, and I'm not really gonna bother with 1/3 unless I really feel like it thanks to this. Plan to be having a few games on wifi with some of you ;l
 
I think this is the fire Fire Emblem game I'm not that interested in. Oh well perhaps I'll change my mind in the future.
 
The graphics is actually a return to the older FE4/5 style. I used to be a big fan of the FE series but the last 3 games have been lacklustre at best and not unlike cancer.
