Forum Style Bug Reports

Your profile is locked because of the name change. Requesting a "profile unlock" by quoting your original post will fix this issue when a mod gets to you. It is intended and mentioned in the OP of that thread.

naturally, this is a month after the change was carried out, not a month after you posted your request.
do not post here asking to unlock your profile "when my month is over in 3 days", if we want to go through the thread before then we're not gonna wait for you, and if we go through it later then there was no point in posting ahead of time in the first place.

so either pokemon showdown has the move wrong for years now or bulbapedia got their facts wrong.

I noticed an odd glitch with the Sirfetch'd and Farfetch'd icons. I'm not sure if this applies to other Pokemon names (it seems to only be with those that have apostrophes). Basically, when I enter this:

:sirfetch'd: :ss/sirfetch'd:
and then I save the post, it works fine... until I edit and the save right away. Then, it turns into this:

:sirfetch :ss/sirfetch
If this could be fixed, that would be great. Thanks!

try writing it without the apostrophe as a workaround

Not sure if it’s from a Xenforo patch update (chaos) or if any smod or admin with style privileges can speak on the Spotify embed feature? There appears to be an excessive amount of linebreaks/padding underneath whenever you drop a link in a post.

i have never changed this particular team as far as the pokepaste (i took it directly from the teambuilding competittion), and it said 364 speed when i hovered over tyranitar

I wanted to put images in my signature, but when I did that it didn't work because I needed permission from an administrator.

In theory, this wasn't supposed to happen, so would it be a bug?
 
I've noticed that when uploading some gifs with transparent backgrounds as a profile picture they all seem to get corrupted in the upload process. Here's an example with bw manaphy. Interestingly the gif shows up fine in the edit profile picture popup. It also displays normally when you click on the image while on my profile page.

I presume theres some processing Smogon does that results in the corruption.

here's a screenshot from the gif displaying on the forum, and then from the edit popup.


I am sourcing this gif from the same directory as the default sprites (https://www.smogon.com/forums/media/avatars/manaphy.gif.m.1), which displays normally when automatically assigned. I have tried up-scaling the gif, trying other pokemon, cropping the gif, sourcing from other sites, and all result in a corrupted gif.

I was discussing this with some other people, and someone managed to get gen6 sprites to work (albeit cropped) (example, smallow's account (interestingly, not all sources went uncorrupted)), but there were no successful bw sprites.

I hope this is the right thread to post this on.

they will continue to be gone for the foreseeable future; they were more than just CSS changes to the default theme and pushing updates for them every time was a lot of work so until a volunteer decides to recreate them, we're stuck with the Default and Dark themes.

you can't just say that and not be specific with what would actually be needed
like assets, code, etc.
 
I don't know if this should go here, but I'll give it a try.

When I go to change my avatar, it won't let me move the image. I don't know if it happens to anyone else.
 
Trying to remove the forced spaces between this Block Element character ("▏") on mobile (current-version Android Firefox):
