I'd like to give a quick shoutout to Fusion Evolution's sister projects, since they have come out of hiatus as well (And a new one has been created):

Fusion Moves | Fusion Moves Reverse - A mod in which you can submit fused moves to create a signature move for a fusion.
Fusion Prevolutions - A project where you create Little Cup pre-evolutions for the fusions.
Fusion Evolution Omega - A micro-meta variant of FE, with a competitive focus in mind.

They are all in Submission Slate so feel free to hop in and submit right away!

Alright, I gave y’all extra time. Voting is open! Please do not vote for any banned submissions, as those votes will not count.

Minor question: when and why did Chaos II get banned? It's really not that strong.
Council discussed it like 4 months ago but it got officially banned recently. 120 Atk/120 Spe is good but not really banworthy, and its other stats are average. However, it has a 166 BP STAB Normal move that breaks Subs/Sash/Sturdy and drains 33% of damage dealt. Plus almost unresisted STABs, with Close Combat or High Jump Kick as options for its Fighting STAB and, for coverage, 166 BP Bullet Seed and/or Rock Blast that also drain 33% damage. Mons that resist it are pretty much a handful of Ghost/Steel ones. Ever since we banned Cinshado, Chaos II's the strongest Sash destroyer in a meta where one of the best strategies is using Sashed glasscannons. It can also keep its own Sash intact in case there are hazards, because of the 33% drain.

Seeing how Komally was adjusted after winning, if Perperior wins, I’ll change it so that it raises speed instead if that’s cool with y’all.

These are our winners:

Parents: Azumarill + Lunala
Shared Egg Group: DNA
Offspring Name: Zalula
Type: Fairy/Ghost
Base Stats: 130(+12)/81/100(+16)/98/105(+12)/73 (587 BST)
Ability: Shadowscale (Huge Power + Shadow Shield) - Doubles Defense and Special Defense. This ability cannot be ignored.

Notable Moves:
Physical: Phantom Force, Play Rough, Knock Off, Aqua Jet, Liquidation, Seismic Toss, Ice Punch, Sky Drop

Special: Moongeist Beam, Moonblast, Night Shade, Scald, Surf, Whirlpool, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Thunderbolt, Heat Wave, Focus Blast, Signal Beam, Grass Knot

Status: Roost, Defog, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Sing/Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Encore, Perish Song, Trick Room, Tailwind, Reflect, Light Screen, Calm Mind, Cosmic Power, Amnesia, Aqua Ring, Curse(?)

Role Identification: FE is in dire need of some bulk to combat the absurd offensive power teams can have these days. Zalula and Lazugari were workshopped by me and Aquatic a while back after I had joked about hyper offense being so powerful that I could make something with doubled defenses and it still wouldn't be that good. I didn't expect the result to be such a decent fusion, at first glance they even appear incredibly overpowered. While they are quite powerful, calcs were done and they can both be beaten by many things with a little effort (or setting up) despite their insane defensive capabilities. A meta forced to only run hyper offense gets old real quick but FE doesn't really have many good defensive fusions yet.

DNA Donors: Azumarill / Lugia
Offspring name: Lazugari
New Type: Water / Psychic
Base Stats: 120 / 75 / 120 / 75 / 120 / 80 (590 BST) (+17 HP, +5 Atk, +15 Def, +3 SpD)
New ability and desc: Powerscale (Multiscale + Huge Power) - Doubles Defense and Special Defense.
Notable Moves:
Physical: Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Punishment, Sky Drop, Seismic Toss

Special: Scald, Brine, Whirlpool

Status: Roost/Recover, Defog, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Sing, Encore, Perish Song, Tailwind, Roar/Whirlwind, Feather Dance, Trick, Reflect, Light Screen, Belly Drum, Calm Mind, Amnesia, Aqua Ring

Role indentification: Listen, FE needs more defensive power. We currently have way better offensive fusions than defensive. My attemt is balancing that. While it might seems too strong at first, it really isn't unbreakable (Done calcs). Anyways, let's see the positives: 120/120/120 with doubled defenses is a fantastic Stall mon. Does not need offensive presence due to Toxic, Seismic Toss eand Whirlpool. And, finally, access Recover and Roost offers good recovery. All in all, a fantastic addition to help balance the meta

DNA Donors: Amoonguss / Ho-oh
Offspring name: Amo-oh
New Type: Poison / Flying
Base Stats: 135 / 112 / 105 / 102 / 122 / 65 (+20 HP, +0 Atk, +20 Def, +0 SpA, +0 SpD, +0 Spe) [BST: 641]
New ability and desc: Regenerator
Notable Moves:
STAB: Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Brave Bird, Clear Smog, Sludge Bomb
Coverage: Foul Play, Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Overheat, Sacred Fire, Giga Drain, Earth Power, Earthquake, Psychic
Status/Support: Calm Mind, Defog, Leech Seed, Recover, Roar, Roost, Spore, Stun Spore, Synthesis, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Whirlwind, Will-o-Wisp
Role Identification: A nigh-impenetrable wall that's bound to stymie plenty of teams thanks to its ability, its good defensive typing, and a movepool that gives it several different ways to thwart setup sweepers. If you thought Amoonguss was a pain to deal with in standard, Amo-oh will make your game a living hell.

1546552442228.png

DNA: Tyranitar / Celebi
Name: Celenitar
Type: Rock / Grass
Base Stats: 105/120/115/99/100/100 (+5 HP, +3 de Attack, +10 Def, +2 Sp. Atk, +20 Speed)
Ability: Sand Spa (Sand Stream + Natural Cure) - Upon switching in or out, sets Sand and heals own status. Cannot have a status condition under Sand.
Moves:
Phys.: Crunch, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Pursuit, Stone Edge, Thunder Punch, Seed Bomb, U-Turn

Special: Earth Power, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Surf, Thunderbolt, Ancient Power, Energy Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Leaf Storm, Shadow Ball

Status: Curse, Dragon Dance, Roar, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Leech Seed, Healing Wish, Nasty Plot, Recover, Swords Dance, Worry Seed

Role Identification: A part Rock-Type with 105 / 115 / 100 bulk that summons Sand both when switching in and out? With usable 100 Speed and 120 base Attack? Hell yes. Burns aren't going to bother it either. Grass / Rock is a decent type, even tho it's individual components aren't good, and it has a large ammount of coverage. Not only that, as it also has great utility in moves such as Leech Seed, Stealth Rock, Healing Wish, any Set-Up it prefers (Dragon Dance being probably the best) and even a direct way to regain HP in Recover.

DNA Donors: Mega Tyranitar / Celebi
New Type: Rock / Grass
Base Stats: 105 / 150 / 155 / 99 / 120 / 110
New ability and desc: Sand Stream
Notable Moves:
Physical: Crunch, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Pursuit, Stone Edge, Thunder Punch, Seed Bomb, U-Turn

Special: Earth Power, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Surf, Thunderbolt, Ancient Power, Energy Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Leaf Storm, Shadow Ball

Status: Curse, Dragon Dance, Roar, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Leech Seed, Healing Wish, Nasty Plot, Recover, Swords Dance, Worry Seed

Role Identification:
Oh geez. Nevermind the base's bulk, the mega is overall better, with the only disadvantage being not being immune to status under Sand and not being able to summon it by switching out as well. Either way, a 105 / 155 / 120 bulk for something with 150 / 110 Physical offense and Dragon Dance, which summons sand when switching in to further boost it's Sp. Def, and also has useful things like Recover, is definetly worth a shot. The only thing that doesn't get better is Sp. Atk, which to begin with only had offensive presence due to Nasty Plot so who cares. Overall, it's a bulkier Mega Tyranitar that has pretty decent Speed and reliable recovery, as well as expanded coverage.

Parents: Persian-Alola / Rhyperior
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Perperior-Alola
New type: Dark / Ground
New base stats: 100 / 110 / 105 / 75 / 70 / 87
New ability and desc: Shocked (Rattled + Lightning Rod) - The user is immune to Electric, Dark, Bug and Ghost-type moves. If targetted, the user gains +1 Special Attack.
Notable moves: Throat Chop, Foul Play, Punishment, Gunk Shot, Iron Tail, Play Rough, Seismic Toss, Earthquake, Megahorn, Outrage, Hammer Arm, Iron Tail, Stone Edge, Aqua Tail, Crunch, Hypnosis, Amnesia, Parting Shot, Roar, Taunt, Toxic, Curse, Stealth Rock
Role Identification: This fusion exists for one reason and one reason only. That reason is to be the ultimate counter to VoltTurn. Thanks to its type and ability, it is immune to both Volt Switch and U-Turn, not to mention Ghost and Bug-type moves in general, two of the most common types in the metagame. It also has somewhat decent bulk, at least for a Persian-Alola fusion. Stealth Rock, Parting Shot and Hypnosis are also extremely helpful. All in all, this is a fusion that can help fight VoltTurn and even put some work in itself.

DNA Donors: Dhelmise / Miltank
Offspring name: Helltank
New Type: Ghost / Normal
Base Stats: 84 / 105 / 120 / 63 / 100 / 70 (+2 HP, +18 Def, +20 SpD)
New ability and desc: Buns of Steel (Steelworker + Thick Fat) - This Pokémon has the resistances of Steel-types. (Not the Poison immunity, though.)
Notable Moves:

: Body Slam, Shadow Claw, Anchor Shot, Earthquake, Knock Off, Seismic Toss, Counter, Rapid Spin

: Milk Drink, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, Heal Bell
Role Identification: This is a rather tame variety of defensive fusion, inspired by FE #182 Miltrank. It does what Miltank does, except it has access to a few Dhelmise tools in Rapid Spin, Knock Off, Anchor Shot, and STAB Shadow Claw.

Now let's talk about typing specifics.
2*: Dark
0.5*: Bug, Poison
0*: Fighting, Ghost, Normal

2* via bypassing immunities: Fighting, Ghost
0.5* via Buns of Steel: Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Rock, Steel

So, under ordinary circumstances, Helltank has 3 immunities and effectively 10 resistances, all with only 1 weakness. (Electric, Fire, Ground, and Water are uninvolved.)

Fusion Name: Bastiosaur
Egg Group: Monster
Stats
Base: 80 / 77 / 135 / 83 / 129 / 65 (569)
Mega: 80 / 95 / 175 / 105 / 149 / 65 (669)
Ability: Meaty (Sturdy + Overgrow): Sturdy but you live at 33% HP.
Mega Ability: Thick Fat
Type: Steel/Poison
Physical: lmao
Special: Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Flash Cannon, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt
Status: Stealth Rock, Taunt, Leech Seed, Synthesis
Role Identification: A potent wall in a format that sorely needs more. Can set up hazards, Leech Seed stall and even do OK damage in its Mega form.

Parents: Aggron / Avalugg (Monster)
Offspring name: Aggralugg
New Type:

Base Stats: 97/128/197/67/68/54 | BST 611
New ability and description: Sturdy (Sturdy + Sturdy).
Notable Moves: Offensive: Avalanche, Earthquake, Heavy Slam, Ice Punch, Metal Burst, Stone Edge, Superpower
Utility: Rapid Spin, Recover, Roar, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave
Set Up: Curse
Role Identification:
Aggralugg is a physical wall thanks to a great 97/197/68 bulk. It brings utility to its team thanks to access to Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin. It has access to Recover which allows it to come several times on the field. However Aggralugg has a double weakness to fire and fighting and a simple weakness to ground which are common offensive typing.

New Type:

Base Stats: 97/158/247/67/88/54 | BST 711
New ability and description: Filter
Notable Moves: See Above
Role Identification: Mega-Aggralugg has still the same role than regular form but it performs it better thanks to better typing, ability and bulk which allows it to take more powerful hits.

With the winners settles, we will follow on to a short Discussion Slate before moving on to a Submission Slate, with a certain twist...

For now, discuss.

Helltank @ Leftovers
Ability: Buns of Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def [Or 252 SpD]
Impish / Careful Nature
- Anchor Shot
- Toxic
- Milk Drink
- Seismic Toss / Shadow Claw / Earthquake

This set takes advantage of Anchor Shot combined with Helltank’s crazy bulk and resistances to ToxicStall anything in sight. Milk Drink provides recovery. The final slot can either go to Seismic Toss to increase the amount you do each turn, or you can use Shadow Claw or Earthquake to handle Ghosts immune to Seismic Toss or Steel-Types respectively.

Amo-Oh @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Foul Play
- Sacred Fire
- Clear Smog

RegenVest. Brave Bird has consistent damage output, Foul Play and Sacred Fire mess with physical attackers, and Clear Smog gives it an easier time with special setup sweepers.

Amo-Oh @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Roost

A triple threat in Leech Seed, Toxic, and reliable recovery. Brave Bird mostly serves to cover Grass-types.

I imagine that these are the two main sets that Amo-Oh is capable of running. There are better candidates for its other possible sets—namely Defog, Choice, and Calm Mind. Its special prowess is hurt by lack of Flying STAB beyond Air Cutter, and lack of physical Poison STAB is kind of (i.e. not nearly as much) a bummer.
