Fusion Evolution

Status
Not open for further replies.
Parents: Breloom and Lilligant
Shared Egg Group: Grass
Offspring Name: Lilliloom
New Type: Grass/Fighting
New Base Stats: 70/95/70/105/60/90
New ability and desc: Toxic Tempo (Poison Heal + Own Tempo): User can't be confused. Heals from Poison Damage.
Notable Moves: Quiver Dance, Vacuum Wave, Mach Punch, Seed Bomb, Drain Punch, Giga Drain, Spore, Rock Slide, Swords Dance
Role Identification: Mixed attacker. Has priority and boosting options on both sides of the fence and can make use of either side. Somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades in terms of stats. (I assume it would be more useful in lower tiers if this Pet Mod ever gets that far) Spore is a great disrupting move though Sleep Clause hampers it.

Gave this a shot. This mon may turn out to be useless once this gets into the playing phase, but since this is likely going to be the only fusion of either of these Pokemon that anyone will ever post I'd say why not.

You stated that it can't be poisoned when It should say it can be poisoned but it heals from poison damage.

Parents: Leafeon and Infernape
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Leafernape
New type: Grass/Fire
New base stats: 80/117/110/92/78/111 (BST 589)
New ability and desc: Blazing Guard : The Pokémon cannot be statused in Sun, also Fire moves get a x1.3 boost when under 30% HP
Notable moves: Fire Blast, Leaf Blade, Flare Blitz, Swords Dance, Work Up, Knock Off, Synthesis, Grass Knot, Shadow Ball, Slack Off, WoW, etc.
Role identification: Fear the absolute sun sweeper ! Here you got a physical attacker that hits hard and is fast enough to outpace 110 BS and below, can't be burned and cannot be stopped by paralysis in sun. Its good bulk and decent typing could allow to pull off a SD set to turn into a fearsome beast, or Work Up to go mixed, maybe. It even has two recovery options and a decent support movepool. Dat coverage tho...

Parents: Kingdra and Hydreigon
Shared egg group: Dragon
Offspring name: Hydreidra
New type: Water/Dark
New base stats: 93 / 110 / 102 / 120 / 102 / 101 (BST 628)
New ability and desc: Nimbus Boost (Levitate + Swift Swim) - Doubles Speed in Rain; The user is immune to Ground- and Water-type moves.
Notable moves: Hydro Pump, Dragon Dance, Ice Beam, Scald, Flash Cannon, Waterfall, Icy Wind, Crunch, Taunt, Roost, Earthquake, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Acrobatics, Stone Edge, U-Turn, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Head Smash, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Aqua Tail, Iron Tail, Superpower, Tailwind, Zen Headbutt
Role identification: Whether it be DD sweeper or special wallbreaker, put the Rain up and it'll sweep just about everything; Even outside of Rain it possesses great bulk and ridiculous coverage.

Parents: Gyarados + Milotic
Shared Egg Group: Dragon
Offspring Name: Gyaratic
New type: Water
New base stats: 105 / 102 / 89 / 90 / 122 / 91 (BST 599) <(yes this is correct)
New ability and desc: Intimidating Competitor - Whenever this Pokemon has its stats reduced by another Pokemon each lower opponent Pokemon attack and this Pokemon gains 1 stage of spa.
Notable moves: Recover, Scald, Coil, Waterfall, Dragon Dance, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Crunch, Dark Pulse.
Role Identification: A relatively bulky mon that can both stall and walls nicely with the potential to set up for a sweep.

Parents: Chatot and Togekiss
Shared Egg Group: Flying
Offspring Name: Chatkiss
New Type: Normal/Fairy
New Base Stats: 90/67/80/116/88/95 (BST 516)
New ability and desc: Serene Eye (Keen Eye + Serene Grace): User's moves have double Accuracy and chance for a secondary effect.
Notable Moves: Nasty Plot, Boomburst, Chatter, Moonblast, Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball, Roost
Role Identification: A strong Boomburst abuser. Can also go for Chatter hax.

Parents: Florges and Togekiss
Shared egg group: Fairy
Offspring name: Florekiss
New type: Fairy
New base stats: 91 / 67 / 91 / 126 / 144 / 87 (BST 606)
New ability and desc: Blossom Grace (Flower Veil + Serene Grace) - Doubles the user's and its Grass-type allies' moves' chance to activate their secondary effects; The user and its Grass-type allies are also protected from stat drops and non-volatile status effects (e.g. confusion, flinch, infatuation) and Yawn.
Notable moves: Moonblast, Calm Mind, Psychic, Energy Ball, Synthesis, Magic Coat, Air Slash, Psyshock, Shadow Ball, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Ancient Power, Roost, Aromatherapy, Wish
Role identification: A Calm Mind set will work well, as does a Wish-passing set. At least it has much better movepool than Florges.

Unfortunately, Gyarados + Milotic has already been done.
Parents: Gyarados and Milotic
Shared egg group: Dragon
Offspring name: Gyarotic
New type: Water
New base stats: 105/103/89/90/123/91
New ability and desc: Mox Scale - Gains 1.5 defense when afflicted with status. And gains +1 attack after OHKO'ing an opponent.
Notable moves: Dragon Dance, Recover, Coil, Scald, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Fire Blast, Stone Edge, Earthquake
Role identification: The purpose of combining these two pokemon are that, much like the Electabuzz and Magmar lines, these two are counterparts, and in fact have the same stats, but different distribution, and as such, different roles. By combining these pokemon, they can perform either role but with some differences. Losing the flying type gets rid of a massive weakness but also some resistances, so I believe that helps balance the stat gain. It can go for speed and power (DD), power and defense (Coil), can use recovery in combination with either offense or defense, or use a defensive set altogether. It gets Special moves, although 90 SpA is average, it isn't that different from Milotic's 100 SpA, but scald's usable now.

Hoping it's not too OP.

Edit: I'm not sure how many suggestions we are limited to, but if we are inclined to do more than one I'd like to reserve Charizard + Tyranitar. Ignore if limited.

reserving Malamar + Alomomola

Parents: Malamar and Alomomola
Shared egg group: Water1, Water2
Offspring name: Malamola
New type: Dark/Water
New base stats: 135 / 93 / 94 / 64 / 70 / 79 (BST 535)
New ability and desc: Contrary Healer (Contrary+Healer) - Effects of Contrary and Healer.
Notable moves: Superpower, Knock Off, Waterfall, Wish, Protect, Psycho Cut
Role identification: Malamar plus bulk and recovery.

Parents: Slowbro and Slowking
Shared egg group: Monster and Water 1
Offspring name: Broseiden, God of the Brocean Broking
New type: Water
New base stats: 105 /85 / 105 / 110 / 105 / 40
New ability and desc: Oblivious Tempo - immune to Taunt, infatuation, and confusion
Notable moves: Slack Off, Scald, Psyshock, Iron Defense, Calm Mind, Amnesia, Rest, Sleep Talk, Hidden Power
Role identification: Basically the Slow brothers mashed up into one Pokémon. Slightly less defenses than either one's favored defense stat, but higher HP makes up for it. Unfortunately loses out on Regenerator, though.

I had to.
Parents: Raichu and Azumarill
Shared egg group: Fairy
Offspring name: Pikablu Azuchu
New type: Electric/Water
New base stats: 90 / 80 / 77 / 85 / 90 / 90 (512 BST)
New ability and desc: Discharged Power (Static + Huge Power): Attack stat is boosted to 2.3x if the opposing Pokémon is paralyzed.*
Notable moves: Volt Tackle, Waterfall, Play Rough, Extremespeed, Aqua Jet, Fake Out, Agility, Belly Drum, Nuzzle
Role identification: Moderately fast physical wallbreaker and/or sweeper.

*The reason I have done this is to stop it being a generic ability fusion (i.e. Huge Power with a 30% paralysis rate when hit with a contact move), instead making it take a key concept of both to make a buffed yet situational Huge Power. Was originally going to be triple, but that would bring the stat up to 852 with max investment, an adamant nature and the boost; therefore, 2.3 (which brings the power to a little below that of max adamant Mega Medicham under the same conditions while also being an easter egg (the rate of Static's paralysis+the boost provided by Huge Power)) felt more appropriate.

Parents: Gallade and Muk
Shared egg group: Amorphous
Offspring name: Mullade
New type: Psychic/Poison
New base stats: 96 / 125 / 80 / 75 / 117 / 75 (BST 568)
New ability and desc: Residue Stench (Stench + Steadfast) - If the user is flinched, its Speed is boosted by 1 stage, and the opponent is flinched the next turn.
Notable moves: Close Combat, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Earthquake, Will-O-Wisp, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, X-Scissor, Poison Jab, Power-Up Punch, Shadow Sneak, Drain Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Knock Off, Trick, Zen Headbutt, Gunk Shot, Pain Split
Role identification: Not much difference, aside from being more bulky physically and slightly slower, as well as swapping Fighting STAB for Poison. Which might be worse, admittedly, but the resistances are pretty decent.

Parents: Tropious + Garchomp
Shared Egg Group: Monster
Offspring Name: Tropchomp
New type: Grass/Dragon
New base stats: 113/100/99/86/86
New ability and desc: Solar Veil - While the weather is sunny, This Pokemon's Atk gets 1.5 X and loses 1/8 hp every turn. This pokemon is not damaged by Sandstorm.
Notable moves: Sunny Day, Leaf blade, Swords dance, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Leech Seed, Substitute.
Role Identification: A decent sun Sweeper that does not get penalized when in sandstorm. Decent set up capabilities as well as stall potential

Parents: Raichu and Slurpuff
Shared egg group: Fairy
Offspring name: Slurchu
New type: Electric/Fairy
New base stats: 81 / 95 / 80 / 97 / 87 / 96 (BST 535)
New ability and desc: Static Veil (Static + Sweet Veil) - This Pokemon and its allies are immune to sleep and paralysis. If hit by a contact move, it has a 25% chance of putting the attacker to sleep and a 25% chance of paralyzing the attacker.
Notable moves: Belly Drum, Play Rough, Extreme Speed, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Iron Tail, Nuzzle, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Surf, Moonblast, Volt Switch, Fake Out
Role identification: Slurpuff, with slightly better Attack, Extreme Speed, and Nuzzle, but it loses Unburden.

Parents: Raichu + Typhlosion
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Raiphlosion
New type: Electric/Fire
New base stats: 79/97/76/109/92/115 (568 BST)
New ability and desc: Static Fire - Fire moves have a 30% chance to paralyze the opponent
Notable moves: Nasty Plot, Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, Eruption, Volt Switch, Extrasensory, Focus Blast, Grass Knot
Role identification: NP + high speed makes it a good Special Sweeper. Specs is also an option to spam Volt Switch/Eruption.

Fortunately, that Gyaratic was illegal because it used their Hidden Abilities
Yeah I'd forgotten to edit it, It was to be changed to Intimidate + MarvelScale, but I'd forgotten about it. Since I reserved it first idk how the "ownership" is gonna work now, either way it accounts for mostly the same mon.

Parents: Hydreigon and Shelgon Salamence
Shared Egg Group: Dragon
Offspring Name: Shelgon Salagon
New Type: Dragon/Dark
New Base Stats: 103 / 130 / 95 / 127 / 95 / 109 (659 BST)

Notable moves: Belly Drum, Play Rough, Extreme Speed, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Iron Tail, Nuzzle, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Surf, Moonblast, Volt Switch, Fake Out
Role identification: Slurpuff, with slightly better Attack, Extreme Speed, and Nuzzle, but it loses Unburden.
IMO change the ability name to Thunder Veil. Your call tho :)
Parents: Raichu + Typhlosion
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring name: Raiphlosion
New type: Electric/Fire
New base stats: 79/97/76/110/93/115 (570 BST)
New ability and desc: Static Fire - Fire moves have a 30% chance to paralyze the opponent
Notable moves: Nasty Plot, Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, Eruption, Volt Switch, Extrasensory, Focus Blast, Grass Knot
Role identification: NP + high speed makes it a good Special Sweeper. Specs is also an option to spam Volt Switch/Eruption.
IMO change the ability name to Flame Discharge. Your call tho :)

Parents: Snorlax

+
You can claim ownership I didn't even notice someone had made it already. Sorry About that

Ladyleumas I actually like that ability as opposed to Intimidate + Marvel Scale, but I'd give it +2 SpA as with competitive as it normally is, as some of these mons are ridiculously powerful and/or bulky, so 90 SpA +2 isn't that high tbh. If that's the case I wouldn't mind co ownership or w/e.

BTW Reserving Slaking + Camerupt, that's gonna be weird.

Parents: Dragalge + Heliolisk
Shared egg group: Dragon
Offspring name: Dragalisk
New type: Electric/Poison
New base stats: 73 / 75 / 81 / 113 / 118 / 86 (BST 546)
New ability and desc: Poison Skin (Dry Skin + Poison Point) - This Pokemon is immune to Water-type attacks. When hit by a contact attack, it has a 30% chance of poisoning the attacker.
Notable moves: Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb, Hydro Pump, Toxic Spikes, Parabolic Charge, Volt Switch, Focus Blast
Role identification: A bulky special attacker. Also usable like a Plasmanta in CAP.

OKAY! Sorry for the wait. Here's how this is going to work. You will pick 5 fusions from the submissions below. (Yes, we have 104 in under 24 hours.) If you don't see yours I may have deleted it (there was one Female/Female and Genderless/Genderless). If you happen to notice an error, tag me ASAP.

Instead of ME going through and fixing all of these, we as a group will go over the top 5 voted submissions and correct any stats, refine its ability, and theorymon a bit.

When choosing your 5, just copy+paste as I have them in the hide tags below. No need to give the name of the fusion nor list stats or anything like that. You may choose your own submissions.

  2. Tally, announce winners
  3. Refine the fusions: Fix stats (if needed), balance ability (if needed) and remove any HAs, discuss competitive applications, generate sets
  4. Add to Hall of Fame

Sample Vote, reasons optional:

Cofagrigus / Reuniclus
I like this one because...
Gyarados / Milotic
This is a match made in heaven!
Excadrill / Granbull
What amazing STAB coverage!!
Granbull / Hippowdon
I really like Granbull
Alakazam / Machamp
The more spoons the merrier!

Pangoro / Sableye One of my own. I like it for its ability to basically neutralize all abilities, defensive or offensive, but get punished if it attempts to use priority, and loses to slow Pokemon, inverting the benefits of Speed.
Diggersby / Lucario One of my own. I like this one for its ability to be an effective priority cleaner or sweeper. I also like that it beats Talonflame and escapes unharmed.
Azumarill / Greninja This vote is just for the creativity of making it a delayed Huge Power, and forcing its user to choose a gimmick to help it win.
Malamar / Swampert Another vote for creativity in switching the abilities.
Mienshao / Sawk I like this one for bringing a skilled U-Turn switcher which can make insurance for its survival with a clear field and full health.
