GameStop Deoxys

Just keep going till you have one that has a great nature and good/decent IVs. Hell I was going for about 3 days and 2 hours a day SRing Darkrai and I still didn't get the Spatk one I wanted, but I got a cool mixed attacker instead, which is still neat.
 
Did you guys have to walk in gamestop to do it, or can you just get it in your car outside =x ?

I'm planning on getting a few tomorrow =)

btw, when it says you just need a pokedex, is that just the one in the first city you get from the profesor after he gives you your first pokemon? That's it? I have two games that haven't been started yet and I guess that's all I need to do.

I had to walk inside. I'm sure the download device has the distance capability, but I don't think it's very good about going through a wall and the car.


I've been sticking with soft reseting for a moderately good Deoxys in my "resetable" Diamond game, mostly because that one game is where I'm getting all my extra "junk" Deoxys. Basically, since I'll be going back, there's no point in going for a perfect Deoxys in this game... at least, not until I'm done with the event and not going back.

I'm referring to these Deoxys as "light reset" because it only makes sense to have lighter expectations of them. Here's what I've got thus far (one for each time I've gone to GameStop):

Modest, 9/12/13/28/31/30
Sassy, 24/14/31/24/31/20

Yup, that's it.

Even better... if you have two DSes, you can restart those games over and over (erase the save data) and participate in the event over and over. The excess Deoxys can be used for, say, playing around with gimmicky sets or trading to people who didn't make it to the event.

I wasn't able to do it from my car parked directly in front of the store, but I could do it from outside the store up against the wall (only about 10 feet closer than the car, really).
 
I got the mystery gift for deoxys in my diamond game as there was something I have confirmed:

Since I still have TRU darkrai to claim, I can go to any pokemart and the first time I visit I can receive darkrai, and then next visit I get deoxys, so I can have at least 2 deliveries at once. I wonder what is the maximum I can have at once as I expect there to be future deliveries of shaymin & arceus and maybe celebi in the future.

I think you can only get two wonder cards at once. I just tried it, you can get the both of them one right after another. This is cool but it's also a liability - what if you get a great Darkari and a bad Deoxys? I still have my TRU Manaphy to claim.

If I get a great darkrai then I'd immediately save, then Soft-reset for deoxys.
 
On the subject of 2 wondercards, can you switch the order of Darkrai and Deoxys so that you can save your Darkrai and just SR for Deoxys? I would imagine it's not possible, but worth asking...

Yes, it's about 9 minutes into the game.
 
I went in and asked to make sure. The Gamestop dudes felt bad for the mothers sent by their kids to get Deoxys for them, but the mothers didn't bring their kid's DSes or games with them at all.
 
Go into the fucking store, who gives a shit if 3 people you'll never see again know you like Pokemon? Don't be little bitches.

That aside, if you catch the Deoxys, can you get another one on the same cartridge by going back next weekend, or do you only get 1 per cart? Sorry if this has already been asked.
