Do you know anyone who could go for you? I had to help my little brother move to Chicago during the TRU Darkai weekend, so I dropped my DS off at my parents' house and told them to do it.

The TRU employee had to explain to my mom that the Pokemart was not an actual store and that, when he said to go to any Pokemart in any city, he did not mean that she would actually have to drive to another city to do it -_-
 
I went with my brother to gamestop and I used my extra game and was able to grab a deoxys with the right nature and transfer onto my other game and his game and we each got three.

Yes. You go to Veilstone City and talk to the meteorites. Each meteor will change your Deoxys into a specific form.


I stopped at GameStop on the way home and acquired 11. Five are "junk" ; obtained while at GameStop and meant to be trophy pokemon. The other 6 are ready to be soft reset.
 
I went to one of the many GameStops near my house (4 within 15 minutes driving) and they had the sign up, but noone was there to do anything. There is supposed to be a guy who you have to trade with or something, correct? I have never been to an event before.

No, there is nobody you trade with. You go to the main menu. If you've never used Mystery Gift before, the option will appear. From Mystery Gift, you select "Receive Gift -> Receive Wirelessly." The game will ask if you want to receive the "Mystery Gift From Space" ; you say yes. It will show you Deoxys and tell you to pick him up from the delivery man in any Poke Mart.

From there, you load your save game like normal, go to any Poke Mart, and talk to the delivery man (who stands next to the counter.)

all of the Gamestops in northern Virginia area were short the Deoxys kit. they said tomorrow for sure. i was a little bummed.
 
lol I spent a long time trying to get it cause the lady kept saying "go to Jubilife and into the mall." Then after awhile I realized she meant the TV area (how is that a mall?) and then she told me to get the mystery gift... which I had already gotten =_=;

Wasted like 15 min. of my life but SRing deoxys atm =P
 
Anyone can save the savegame, so others can SR for it, aswell?
That would be great and we Germans could SR for it, too...
Or anyone could save the wondercard... dunno if that works

Just think about it. ;)
 
You are first given something through the wireless mystery gift thing. (I just says something came from space). Then you just go to a pokemart and there's a guy who just gives you the deoxys. Just save in front of him and talk to him for the deoxys.
 
I got two Deoxys, one Mild and the other Bashful. I got on in my Pearl and Diamond version. They have Extreme Speed, Zap-Cannon, Iron Defense, and Psychic Boost. They should be doing it all weekend at all Gamestops.

That's interesting, then why does Nintendo even bother having you unlock Mystery Gift?

Well at least this doesn't stop people from getting Deoxys if they don't know that stupid passcode, like I thought.

31 spd + timid is tempting, but the attack and sp. atk iv's aren't very good. Terrible, in fact...

NO! that is horrible, seriously. don't keep that.

Just went to gamestop and got a rash "Often dozes off" deoxys, can't wait to iv check it.
