Sorry SJCrew, but the way you try to twist my arguments in order to try to prove your point right just because the overall justification for it is very vague is both terrible and unfounded; and just because I don't feel like writing a philosophy essay regarding a blue duck that doesn't mean you don't have to fill in the blanks and consider obvious factors. First, I've never said you OHKO them, I said you deal some decent amount of damage. And no, Toxicroack ain't subpunching my ass to oblivion just because I don't have Psychic, I actually have 5 other mons and I'd rather put them to good use than limit myself to one that is outclassed 90% of the time and that's wallable by a good portion of the metagame. Poliwrath, Qwilfish and Toxicroack are three pokés that (for instance don't even see sound amounts of usage) I can't deal with so effectively? Well there are other... 50 pokémons I'd rather be able to deal with, like Hazeless Milotic, Specially Defensive Venusaur (hey look, the two most used pokémons in the metagame). Finally, stop bringing up Psychic versus Venusaur, Ice Beam deals more damage.
If you wanna make use of a pokémon solely to deal with rain teams I have no issues with that, but Rain isn't common enough to have someone use an outclassed version of a set just so that you can beat it. I agree that Psychic should get a mention on this set comments, but that's all. Of course, these are just my terrible and unfounded opinions.
