Good rap tracks?

We all know nothing is good from the 21st century. Especially Music...

We all can only listen to so much shit from the past, especially one that only goes TWENTY years deep, you will run out of shit, despite how superior they were to these day. I mean I enjoy Nas and shit as much as the next perosn but I don't go to clubs hoping to hear Ether or The World Is Yours being blasted.

Some refreshing albums that come out in 2006 was what, Common's Be. You can't say that was shit music or anything cause had that been out 10 years earlier, it'd be hailed up there with Doggystyle, Reasonable Doubt etc.

Ghostface also came out with 2 Fishes album that blows pretty much everything else away.

It's like me going, "We all know that any new user after 2005 are stupid."

Atmosphere has some great stuff;

-Always Coming Back Home to You
-Little Man
-One of a Kind

DM recommended God Loves Ugly to me but I havent had a chance to listen to it (i will soon, i promise!)

It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid how Ghostface didn't win a Grammy. Fishscale was better than anything released on a major (and was released on a major) record label. And while More Fish wasn't as good, it was still much better than many of the nominees (Release Therapy, King, w/e the fuck Pharell put out (although Game Theory and Food & Liquor were better than More Fish)).

It's all about your appearance now a days. Of course T.I. is going to win more shit over Ghostface. I mean who's going to pass a Billboard Top100 stable that's being presented as a pretty boy. Although I'm not going to lie, What You Know probably is the most overplayed shit of 06, but I'd still sway my head just to the beat alone.

obligatory definitive jux recommendation.

also: (edit: ok that was too many recommendations)

RJD2, People Under The Stairs, MHz, Binary Star, Lightheaded, Panacea, Blackalicious, Papoose, Caveman Theory and Mac Dre are some of my favorites, not including others mentioned here. and yeah, GZA rocks.

knock knock - who the fuck is bangin at my door - is it abstract commercial or hardcore?

I know why rappers like T.I. are gonna take more shit in than Ghostface, but it's just so aggravating. And yeah, What You Know's beat, and Big Shit Poppin's beat, is just a plain "headbanger" in every sense of the word haha.

This isn't a now playing thread dude. And that's pretty much shit compared to what he did last year and at least get the dirty version and lol is Sanders the first perosn this whole thread to mention Papoose

i cant believe everyones mentioning mf doom and wu tang yet no one said anything about biochemical reaction....
songs fucking fire

Um Ghostface?!?! How did you not mention him while listing stand out Wu's?

P.S. Devin the Dude is good for someone that actually came out during the 21st century.

Shit I thought I did. I love that guy, got Ironman, Supreme Clientele and Fishscale at home and my fav song on them is One (on Ironman im pretty sure).

Mysterious Stallion, i love rap with a passion.
Check out Gravediggaz-1-800-Suicide, or any other of their songs off of 6 Feet Deep.
It's basically RZA and a couple of friends rapping a sick joke.
But a well written one with a good beat.

old JMT are good but paz can get corny/cliche at times and he fucking sounds angry all the time like he wants to kill you i dont need fucking people screaming at me ; /
but dont get me wrong i did like servants in heaven kings in hell
if you like JMT try Army Of The Pharaohs
ill post a list later

Recently, I've been enjoying listening to the plethora of 50 Cent diss tracks, especially "Who the Fuck is 50 Cent?" Youtube it.

Are you serious?? So have I, thats pretty funny. I've been googling any 50 Cent disses and there are a few good ones. Even though he aint brilliant by any stretch, Cam'ron's 50 diss "Curtis" was pretty funny. Also, The Game's 300 Bars and Runnin' was suprisingly good aswell.

"When it's beef we eat, we win, but we ain't lonely we pop. You may sell records but a G-G-G-u not". Funny shit.

And I've listened to a few suggestions and I really like On the Eve of War - Jedi Mind Tricks.

Btw Basics thats by Wu-Tang isn't it? (Who da fuck is 50).
