Hey, it's my 1K.
I'm kinda sad to have hit this number because... wow I can't believe I've made a thousand posts on a forum about Pokemon... but also because I think it's cooler to have badges with lower post counts :p but content needs to be checked—and I've already missed out on checking stuff today because I've been writing this!—so here I am.
I've been playing Pokemon for a damn long time in my opinion, longer than some of the people on Smogon have been alive, and contrary to my joindate I've been here for a decent amount of time too. Sometimes I regret not actively doing stuff/contributing here earlier, because I feel like I missed out on knowing a lot of interesting people, but looking at the people I've met now I can't really complain :) I can't say for sure whether I'll still be here maintaining my ~2 checks a day ratio some number of years from now, but I'm happy to be and to have been a part of this community and to have made some pretty cool friends. I have a lot of love in my heart for friendship, probably too much, so yeah if I sound kinda sappy it's because I think friendship is literally the greatest thing ever. Anyways, I know you're just here for the shoutouts, so I'll stop here...

The GP team's ace and the twin brother I wish I had. It is almost suspicious how similar we are, from our username origins to our willingness to consume salt to that other thing... but it's really cool to know that there's another person on Earth that appreciates parallelism and the distributive property as much as I do. Also your knowledge of grammar and English in general is ridiculously amazing, so much so that I forget it's not even your first language until you ask me stuff like "what's a welder", which I always find hilarious. Thanks for the song recs, the grammar trivia, the Latin tips, the emotional support... the stamp on one of my amchecks like eleven months ago, haha (one of the two (?) stamps you've ever given out...!), and just for existing in general :) I guess what I'm saying is I'm glad the dex screwed up the spacing on Lightningrod... but it looks better as one word anyway :>

I have a lot of respect for your levelheadedness on this website of frothing thirteen-year olds and I hope you can get through the next few weeks in one piece and come back to us soon :) I also have to thank you for recommending me for GP leadership, because I really was not expecting that promotion. Uh, in text that kinda sounds sarcastic, but I'm being sincere lol. I don't understand what you have against fluffycats though, they are adorable (actually, I can kinda see the conflict with that one being a snow cat and all)

I still can't believe you sent me, what, Taylor Swift's entire canon? But I can't deny that I listened to Style on repeat like 200 times last month... so thanks for that I guess. And for making me feel better when my terrible self esteem is flaring up again; that means a lot to me. I hope I can be as good a friend to you as you managed to be to me in just like, two conversations. The time difference between us is rough but it's always nice to Asian girl bond ;) Now go check some articles so I don't ruin my badgeset with Smog Media.
