Hello everyone, I am, as you all know, a member of the 4th Floor Patients, and from what I understand you (I refer to the 3rd Floor and Staff here) are worried that my faction is in a position of power. This is very understandable, and I am happy to let you lynch a member of my faction... However, should this member be ginganinja, I would be very angry and probably move to kill the faction that started the lynch aka the Staff (or third floor depends on how i feel). Since balance seems to be the issue here, I offer two alternatives to this lynch, you know, just for kicks.

I encourage you to choose one:

1) Lynch Aura Guardian, his pm can be found below.

Both of these options are good for you. 1) lynch ag because his role would lengthen this game and be a bore, also because you all hate him with a great passion.

Personally, I would suggest you take either of our options, because whichever faction does not act will take both of our kills tonight, and I'm sure you would prefer to balance the game and stay alive, I know I would.

Narcolepsy is an urge to sleep at random and inappropriate times. This can be accompanied by sudden muscular weakness, that can result in collapse. On an average day, you’re likely to casually doze off four times without anyone really noticing.

While falling asleep usually doesn’t attract too much attention, it can also cause a problem. At Night you may PM the hosts “Night X - Collapsing in front of everyone.” You’ll fall asleep standing up and crumple to the ground. Everyone else will stop what they were about to do and rush to your aid, preventing them from doing their night action. But no one's going to fall for that again, so you can only pull it off once.

With an unprecedented number of deaths the previous Night, tension within the group was at an all-time high. Everybody wondered who was going to be next.

From the scared and confused crowd, the normally stoic Flamestrike stepped forward. He made a case for lynching a member of the strongest faction and called for ginganinja’s head. ginganinja immediately fired back and accused Flamestrike of being a member of the Staff, saying he was attempting to turn the Patients against each other.

Voices chimed in to support both targets. Cereza moved toward Flamestrike with a vicious look on her face. askaninjask turned his attention to ginganinja, calling for the 3rd Floor to follow him. But the votes for ginganinja kept piling up.

As the day dragged on, Crux tried to offer a new solution, asking everyone to take their anger out on Aura Guardian. But no one seemed to follow along with this, and it wasn’t long before Crux himself relented and cast his vote for ginganinja as well. Satisfied, askaninjask grabbed a weight and brought it crashing down on ginganinja’s head. With another member of the group dead, all that was left to do was read his file.

Intermittent Explosive Disorder, or IED, is characterized by explosive outbursts of anger. These are usually very disproportionate to the situation at hand, and can reach levels of uncontrollable rage. You’ve been in a state so bad that it took four of your friends to hold you back.

You’re protective of your friends, but people are a bit afraid of you. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Standing guard by <user>.” If anyone tries to attack <user> that night, you will stop the attack, but you will end up in a blind rage that ends with both you and the attacker dead, but you will have saved whoever you were trying to protect. You can’t bear to just stand around all night, so you can’t target yourself.

You are allied with the 4th Floor Patients.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

While no one was too surprised, there was a solemn atmosphere as the first Patient was killed in the daily lynch. Members of the 4th Floor brooded silently, annoyed that they had given up one of their own without more of a fight. But everyone’s sights were turned to the Night, as well as their next destination on the search for the Control Room.

The Night was unusually quiet. Even still, there were people plotting ways to escape. After all, conflict was still in the air.

Then, suddenly, one of the Patients collapsed in the middle of the room! Everyone stopped what they were doing and rushed to his aid. By the time everything was sorted out and the patient was back on his feet, the Night had ended.

However, it seemed not everyone had stopped what they were doing, since there was a body in the middle of the room, beaten to death and slumped against an exercise bike. Further inspection revealed it was Crux. Someone found his file and read it aloud.

Dear Crux,

You have Schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia means you often suffer from hallucinations and delusions. However, you compensate for that by having incredible deductive powers, and, prior to being admitted, you did your best to help local law enforcement solve some cases. To hear you tell the story, you played a crucial part in breaking four different cases, though others would disagree about the accuracy of that.

In a time of conflict like this, your experience in rooting out scum is practically a necessity. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Finding out <user>’s intentions.” You will use your full powers of deduction to decide if <user> is friend or foe. It will be just as big a success as your work in law enforcement has been.

You are allied with the 4th Floor Patients.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

Crux’s death quashed any small hope that everyone could work together as well as they had earlier in the Night. Everybody eyed each other warily as they planned their next moves.

“I guess you’re right, but I’m exhausted. All of these sleepless Nights worrying about people killing us... I might as well have Insomnia.”

All of the members of the group sat around lazily. Outside, rain pelted the windows. It looked like everyone wasn’t feeling like doing much for the day. So, despite knowing that they had to persevere until the end of this ordeal, they remained in the Gymnasium.

Flamestrike was the first person to bother picking someone to lynch. He pointed at Dubulous halfheartedly. Walrein happily chimed in, agreeing. As the Day ended, the two of them grabbed some heavy stuff from the floor and smashed in Dubulous’ head as he sat there, not even raising an objection. When they were done, his file was read:

Dear Dubulous,

You have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD, means that you have obsessions that compel you to perform various rituals. The compulsion most associated with OCD is excessive hand-washing, and it’s one of the ones that’s plagued you for years. Before leaving the house in the morning you wash your hands no less than four times.

You know your obsessions are irrational, and you’re tired of the flak you get for them. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Compelling <user>.” You will show <user> how it feels to be in your shoes and compel him to repeat his action from the previous night on the same target, if applicable. You’re obsessed with variety, so you can’t target the same player with your ability two nights in a row.

Another member of the 4th Floor had fallen. Some people were excited, others indifferent. Either way, the storm outside continued to rage as Night fell.

Night 6 will end August 29th, 10 p.m. Eastern or when all actions are in.

Due to the hurricane, we realize that some people may lose Internet for a while. Try and get your actions in now. If you are concerned, talk to the hosts and we’ll work something out.

This will be the final 48 hour deadline. Starting Day 7 all deadlines will be switched to 24 hours.

Another quiet night came to a close, and everyone awoke to yet another scream. Everybody reconvened and found the corpse of billymills. He had a syringe jammed in him, like many others before him. Someone found his file and read it aloud.

Dear billymills,

You have Multiple Personality Disorder.

Multiple Personality Disorder, or MPD, means having more than one distinct identity or personality within you. Each of these different identities has its own unique way of dealing with the world. At last count, you had a total of four separate personalities living in your body.

While two of your other personalities fight for control at night, your dominant personality can at least point them in the right direction. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Directing myself toward <user>.” You’ll set your sights on <user>, and one of your other personalities will take hold, using a random effect on him. One of your personalities will stop people from doing anything, while the other will prevent most non-killing effects from hitting him.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

While everyone was occupied with the latest death, Flamestrike launched himself in a flying rage at zorbees! Flamestrike took swing after swing at the surprised and hapless zorbees. Filled with anger, he wouldn’t stop, and it took four Patients to finally restrain him. But by then it was too late for zorbees. All anyone could do was find his file and give him a proper memorial.

Kleptomania is an irresistible urge to steal things. The things you steal are usually not even worth any significant value, but you can’t help it. It started as a kid when you started taking three-cent pieces of candy.

You don’t have any abilities right now, but don’t worry. You’re bound to steal a few interesting things along the way.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

It seemed zorbees was able to collect some abilities during this conflict.

You checked the corpse of ginganinja today and found a new ability:

You checked the corpse of Dubulous today and found a new ability:

At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Stopping <user>.” You will prevent <user> from doing anything he was planning to that Night. You can’t stop the same player two nights in a row.

You may only use one of your abilities each night.

With this shocking development, everyone vowed to keep a sharp eye on Flamestrike so history wouldn’t repeat itself. The situation was already extremely tense after one brazen, public murder. What would happen next?
