With the group fragmented even more than before, everyone spent the day scrutinizing each other even more than usual. They wracked their brains trying to recall if a particular person had been someone that milled about their floor. A few people seemed to have a few ideas, though. And, regardless of their floor, people began to call for a lynch of bearsfan092 for the third day in a row.

LifeAdmiral was the first to break up the monotony of voting by crying about being lonely. Then ginganinja demanded that all members of the 4th Floor come to him. It wasn’t long before theangryscientist did the same, but for the 3rd Floor residents.

Because of all of the confusion, it seemed like many of the members of the group were reluctant to join in the lynch of bearsfan092. However, as the Day came to a close, enough people had gathered together and cornered him. Aura Guardian, who had led the charge today, grabbed a dumbbell from nearby. Someone else grabbed onto the chair bearsfan092 had brought along with him from the Cafeteria. The dumbbell was brought crashing down on his head. But unlike the last time, those who had voted made sure bearsfan092 was done for.

Rifling through his clothes, they found his file. As almost everyone had expected, it was not a Patient file. His information was read aloud:

You are the Nurse.

You may not necessarily be the best nurse out there, but you’re good at your job. And the fact that your long term boyfriend is with you through this massive Patient riot crisis is definitely something that’s helping to settle your nerves. You would think that after four years of Nursing School you’d be more comfortable on your own, though.

As the riot broke out you managed to grab a bunch of syringes with something in them. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Injecting <user> with a syringe.” Whatever is in the syringe is a lethal dose, and <user> will be dead when the Day starts. But if your nerves get the better of you anything could happen.

You are allied with the Staff members.

You win if all Patients are eliminated.

The people around him cheered. Another Staff member dead.

“Wait, syringes? That might mean he’s the one who killed the other two!”

Another, more thorough, search of his body was done, but no syringes could be found on him. Had he used them all? Or worse, had he managed to pass them on to another member of the Staff?

After the apparent unity of the Patients during the Day following their split, some thought that some peace might be maintained between the two groups. At least for a little while. Sadly, that was not the case.

There were plenty of small scuffles throughout the Night. But as the sun rose, it became apparent to everyone that the Patients couldn’t all be working together.

Nightmare Jigglypuff was laying off to one side. His head had been smashed in during the Night. Probably by a piece of weight equipment. Someone rushed up to the body and pulled out the file.

Dear Nightmare Jigglypuff,

You have Insomnia.

Insomnia means you are unable to fall asleep, or have difficulty staying asleep. Instead of being able to lay down and go to bed you will remain awake much longer than you should. On average, you’ve found that you take at least four hours to get to sleep when you’re trying.

Because you can’t fall asleep, you find yourself wandering around when others are resting, and sometimes following other restless people. At Night, you may PM the hosts “Night X - Following <user>.” You will watch <user> that night and every night after, and find out everyone your target visited and everyone who visited your target. Once you have used this ability, you cannot change your target. When your target dies, you may select a new one.

You are allied with the 4th Floor Patients.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

But this death wasn’t caused by a syringe. It sparked a fresh sense of distrust between all of the Patients. But it wasn’t long before someone shouted, pointing at the second casualty of the Night. theangryscientist lay on the floor. But instead of being bludgeoned, he had a syringe jammed in his chest.

Dear theangryscientist,

You have Williams Syndrome.

Williams Syndrome means you have an overly sociable personality. When you’re with a group of people, you can’t help but go up to them and have an enjoyable conversation. Because of this “cocktail party” personality, you’ve never left a party with less than three new friends.

Because of your amicable nature, you’ve already made friends with a couple of the other Patients. And there’s strength in numbers. If the two people you’re friends with vote the same as you in the lynch, then your three votes will count for five.

While you’re not as close with everyone else, everyone does like you. So much so that, if you’re killed in the lynch, anyone who cast a vote for you will be unable to cast a lynch vote in the next Day phase.

You are allied with the 3rd Floor Patients.

You win if you eliminate all threats.

So the two different groups of Patients had each lost a member. All of the true Patients fumed quietly, plotting their revenge, while the Staff members did their best to contain their smirks.

“Is it hot in here?”

A few other members of the group agreed. It almost seemed like there were some little fires about to start up at any moment.
