How did you create your username?

Hmm....

Well, one fateful day, I was pissed off by Warrior Nation (that big e-sports clan) because they kicked my out for something I hadn't done. So instead of being a loser and rant about what they did to me, I did the following:


1) Put the phrase 'WarriorNationBad' in a perfect square.

So, the pattern would be...

1.2.3.4
5.6.7.8
9.10.11.12
13.14.15.16


Which would become...

Warr
iorN
atio
nBad

2) Read down left to right, and put back into perfectly straight phrase.

..which means I get back 'WianaotBrriarNod'.


I thought it sounded very classy, so I kept it.

I have always lacked creativeness, and have almost never created something that is creative, especially in names. Amre is my real life name, and 92 is because I was born 1992. Pretty original, huh?

From (jp) maplestory. My character's name there was based off the skill Dexterity and it fit nicely. Then when I made my AIM screenname to contact my maplestory friends I used DexterityPC (PC are my initials) to avoid confusion. Afterwards, I just use Dexterity everywhere because I have no creativity.

I sort of regret it now since it has nothing to do with anything else (I am not dexterous at all) and my real life friends wonder why my screenname is that, and then I have to use this nerdy explanation. lol
 
Due to my lack of creativeness I went with a shortened name of a friend of mine back in the days when I played on NetBattle. The name worked like a charm when I played, so I kept it.
 
A few years ago, I used to play hearts (the card game) pretty often on games.yahoo.com. In fact, I'm pretty awesome at hearts. If I was playing seriously, I would use my primary game nick, glitchwrench (a completely random seemingly compound word). One day as I was playing, I ran into a player with a fascinating profile. They were attempting to reach a zero rating, by losing all their matches. Their profile had a detailed description of their strategy, tactics, etc. and basically said "if you don't like this, boot me". I was so captured by the idea that I decided to try it. However, I decided that I would nevertheless follow proper hearts etiquette and "lose the right way". Needless to say, I failed. Just by following proper hearts etiquette, I ended up with a winning record on my aptly-named alt, reachzero. In time, I gave up and just used reachzero whenever I was too tired to play seriously. Ironically, my record with reachzero eventually surpassed my record with glitchwrench. Similarly, when I started playing on Netbattle (and later Shoddy), I used glitchwrench as my primary account. On Shoddy, glitchwrench was my main and reachzero my test account. As time passed, reachzero had the best record, so it ended up becoming my main. I also found the name more appealing, since my Chinese surname (Lin) sounds like the word for "zero" (ling). So when I finally joined Smogon, reachzero was the logical choice.
 
My nickname is quite obvious, I play tennis. However, when people ask me if I really play tennis, I always answer "I actually play golf, but golface was taken".
 
The fact that I enjoy playing Phoenix Wright even though I don't have it :( and I sometimes shout "OBJECTION!" when arguing with my friend. I use this username on a few other sites as well.
 
In ancient times, I played Sticks Arena. I chose random, and i'm fighing these 2 guys, one named br0th3r and the other named TEH_$HOOTER. I was searching for a good nick back then, and when i saw the nicks next to each other in the scoreboard, i just tought "not bad" :p

Well, the need for a web name came to me when I was stumbled on my pokemon game (I was like 8), and didn't know where to go next, I needed a walk through. So i went on google, searched it up, and there was this forum, so i looked at it and beat the game. Then I decide to join the forum when I was 10, so I couldn't think of anything. Then, I just picked 4 letters off the top left of my key board (because that's the order you read), and add in my initials G.J.Y. There you have 1234gjy. I also have an alternative which I use more often is qwergjy. I like the way you pronounce qwergjy (k-wor-g-jee), so I use it more. Pretty quick huh?
 
For those who don't know me, my name is really not "Evan" but like most pokemon fans, my username and avatar is based on a random trainer that appears in the Emerald Battle Frontier, and since I am older like an "Expert" and he has a funny introduction quote of "EVERY BATTLE HAS A SMELL" it has since stuck.

I wanted something funny that I could use on any site. Something that would never, ever be taken.

It also happens to never be taken seriously either, but that's life.

In like 7th grade, my best friend had really long hair (we're talking chest-length, here).

His hair is red.

Since I was always with him or not there, one of my friends (who, at the time, had an affinity for giving out Disney-related names) dubbed me flounder.

It's the only nickname that's stuck in my life, and I have no intentions of dropping it.
 
It's an epic combination of Magmortar and Mortified.

I'm not even sure how I came up with it, exactly. I think I was procrastinating on a writing assignment and found a forum I wanted to join. Suffice to say, the name is awesome and I have used it primarily ever since.
 
It was back in 3rd grade when everyone starts pressuring you to get an MSN or AIM account. I couldn't think of a username that didn't have to do with my real name, and while I was playing Megaman X5 later that day, I decided to make it cyberzero because Zero was an awesome character, and many people have unofficially dubbed the black armor "cyber armor".
I combined that, and voila.

Well, I was like 10 years when I found NB. I came up with Pikachu, the most commonly known poke, and poo because my friend randomly said it and fused them. I combined, and made Pikapoo. But, when I used it for a while I was randomly permbanned for trolling off 2 servers, which I didn't do, so I figured someone came up with it first. I decided to cut my losses and use Raipoo. Apparently though, I had some weird glitch and couldn't log on to servers. I just added another o and well...yeah, that's it. More often I end up being called Rai, which sometimes led to some confusion between me and another player. Why didn't I name myself ROFLcopter...
