How did you create your username?

I didn't want to go by my normal username because I wanted to make one of my own instead of using something my friend had designated for me. I just thought of something that most people like and spelled it backwards. If you've studied organic chemistry, you'll know right away.
 
I used to main Marth (yea used to what is this) and I needed an account on Smash World Forums. My friend made me an account called PaperLuigi2, but that never worked (I also played Luigi). Then he decided "Hey Super Mario 64 let's do supermarth64". The name stuck ever since.

He also made me a password that I never bothered to change, so it's the same for basically everything else I use.

So basically about 7 or 8 years ago I went on a website that chose your name for you. It chose Slim Guldo as mine. I quickly dropped that website, but when I started playing Runescape (I was young and naive), I needed a name, so I eventually used Slim Guldo again. I quickly quit that, and moved onto...

I think you get the idea.
 
First post here in a loooooong time (/wave to any who may remember me)

My original name, both here and at PR way back when, was Xiahoufig. However, it always ended getting shortened to Fig when people referred to me, which is a RL nickname anyways, and I just changed it permanently.
 
My name makes it obivious that I'm addicted to Phanasty Star 0,
& Zero (from the Mega Man X series) is my top favorite video game character.

^ Dimentio fan? I approve. I find it funny how he says Bowser has stubby arms when he doesn't have any himself. However, you did not mention the quote about two burly dinosaurs with indigestion. how do you not mention the dinosaurs with indigestion?

Yeah, that is quite a good quote too, about the arm-flailing. I've actually never heard of the dinosaur quote - I'm guessing that one is only seen with certain responses chosen or certain characters being used...
 
a kid in my tennis class way back when wore a whistler ski resort t-shirt one day and i really liked the ways the letters looked together. but "whistler" as a username (a) sounds kind of stupid (b) is the exact same as the name of the ski resort (c) sounds like i am saying i can whistle. so i started using whistle occasionally for random internet websites, even though i had other usernames. one day i decided to sign up for a debate forum that was comprised heavily of people i knew irl (from debate obviously) and i wanted a username that was simple yet wasn't ridiculously uncreative, so i went with whistle#######. and then smogon happened and i didn't want to be like jimbo422 or joel22 so i left out the numbers i used previously.
 
BOZO is the name of one of the first "good" shinies i chained - see avatar. so i chose that for my smogon user name, continuing a tradition (i went by the name Cuddles on psypokes, after my favouritest pokemon ever, my (very craply IV'd) snorlax).
 
No, when you fight O'Chunks in 5-2, he says it before putting you in Dimension D. It's my favorite quote, besides the one about the dodgeball in the echoing gymnasium.

I live in Australia and therefore have the PAL version of the game - assuming you have the NTSC version, it's possible there may have been some slight script changes... it has happened before. And considering the ridiculous gap between the US and AU release for SPM... but anyway, I was only including my personal favourite quotes, which are bound to be different to your favourite ones.

Very clever, I like (the username and the substance).
 
When I was but a wee lad, my very first email account (AOL = LOL) was LugiaRob2000, a mostly obvious combination of Lugia, my name, and the year in which I created said account. Then, when I started to get into SSB Melee, my tag was LR2K, which sounds better to me.
 
my first name was just something quick i had thought of: it was destroyer87. but then i found out you could change your name. now this name was from metroid hunters, as is my gamefaqs username.
 
I watched Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, played Lucario in SSBB, and saw how useful Lucario is in battle in Diamond Version. I then became a lucario fan. Who has the power and right to command a Lucario? An aura guardian, of course!

And so, my username of Aura Guardian came to be. I'm still amazed it hadn't yet been claimed.
 
This is my pen-name I use online, simply cause I'm a security freak... I composed this many years ago:

Seth: Seth was the Ancient Egyptian god of chaos, evil, and storms. The god is also know as Set.

Vilo: Based off the Latin word "vilesco", which means "evil" or "evil-doer". It's the base of the modern words "vile" and "violent". The i is pronounced like the i in "pie", as opposed to the one in "fit" or "lift" that everyone seems to think is how it's said...

Cyrus: The middle name for this pen-name. I liked the initials S.C.V. cause I can make them look cool for mt altered handwriting for this pen-name, and Cyrus sounded really cool. The fact that the newest Pokemon antagonist is also named Cyrus made it even cooler. That makes the grand total of letters in this name equal to 13, the infamous "unlucky" number.
 
Always liked the animorphs books, and while i was deciding for a username my sister (who also liked them) asked me if she could read my Visser chronicle. That kind of stuck then. Also, "Welcome, Visser" sounds cool.
 
The year was 1999, and summer camp week was coming to a close. As a fun event, the camp organized a Pool Games competition with different pool-related contests (longest time under water, biggest splash, etc). For the week the campers had been broken down into several small groups called "families", and each family would submit a player for each contest. When it came time for the biggest splash contest, each family sent their token fat kid. Well, my family didn't have a fat kid, so they sent me instead. Up against a bunch of fatties, I had to figure out how to create a large splash with my tall and lanky body. I decided to make use of my long arms and big hands. When it came time for the dive, the fatties predictably went with the cannonball or jackknife. As for me, I switched it up and went with a head-first approach with arms spread out wide. As I hit the water's surface I cupped my hands and swung my arms forward, my huge hands creating a massive wave that soaked the judges. One of them commented after the dive that it looked as if a "bomb had gone off in the water", so I was thereafter referred to as the "Water Bomb".

Perhaps I could have made that explanation shorter, but there you have it.
 
Well, the first thing I needed a username in was Runescape. It the time I was into Eragon, so I was going to try Saphira. Unfortunately I couldn't spell so I got Sapira instead. That was my first name.

For my current name, I was sick of people recognising me as a female dragon (I'm a guy). So I needed something new. And then it hit me. Using a FFX English-Al Bed Translator I put in Sapira and got Cybeny. It sounded quite cool and I've had it ever since/
