Justification: Ground coverage designed to be given to Poisons and Bugs so they can deal with Steel better. Conceptually though should go mostly to Poisons, Sludgy/Gooey stuff, Amphibians and other mud-dwelling or swamp-dwelling mons, with the eventual Ground STAB user. Can look at Mud Bomb and Mud Shot distrib for reference.
Name: Bonemerang
Power: 50
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 16
Category:
Physical.png

Type:
Ground.png

Effect: Hits twice.
Priority: First hit +1 priority, last hit -1 priority.
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :cubone::marowak::marowak-alola::houndoom::lucario::mandibuzz:
Justification: Promptly stolen from OptiMons, this rework turns it into an utility move that can be used for the Wak cousins as means of Speed control. Other than them though, distribution would be rather limited. I listed lucario and Mandibuzz since they're the only other mons to get Bone Rush, and Houndoom for its visible bones.
Name: Self Destruct / Explosion / Misty Explosion
Power: 170 / 250 / 130
Accuracy: 100
PP: 5
Category: Phys / Phys / Spec
Type: Normal / Normal / Fairy
Effect: Halves opponent's defense when calculating damage. User faints. Misty Explosion: halves opponent's special defense when calculating damage. Deals 50% more damage in Misty Terrain.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Spread, Explosion
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Explosion: :walrein: :stonjourner: :reuniclus: :avalugg: :wobbuffet: :dubwool:
Self-Destruct: :porygon-z: :greedent: :typhlosion: :exploud: :flapple: :appletun:
Misty Explosion: :togekiss: :dedenne: :florges: :klefki: :rapidash-galar: :luvdisc: :electrode:
Justification: Gen 1-4 Explosion is an iconic move that shaped the metagames around it, and defined a decade of Pokemon formats. These moves are surprisingly flexible: they can take down a counter to an ally to create a sweep (a common team comp in GSC has boom Exeggutor for Zapdos so Vaporeon can sweep), they can lure in a counter (Gen 4 Heatran ran Explosion for Blissey) and even the threat of the move alone, even if you don't run it, puts people on edge to try and bait it.

Explosion/Self Destruct was nerfed in Gen 5, coincidentally with the advent of team preview. Restored boom moves in a team preview meta are very interesting as you can scout out potential boom victims (and, in return, can anticipate what your opponent wants to boom on), which really adds to the mind games aspect of these moves. It fits perfectly with their intended role as timed nukes.

Furthermore, the introduction of Misty Explosion as a special boom move gives boomers a way to target the other defense stat, which is often lower and means the boom won't be weakened by a burn. This could be useful for something like Rapidash, running SD + 2 Atks + boom, given that the set naturally lures in Def mons, only to misty boom on them. Or you can run misty boom on a mon like Mega Gardevoir to try and take down a Blissey since it does so much damage. Also, for maximum funnies, if your misty boom mon would be countered by Tapu Fini, things get wild.

Also shoutouts to :glalie-mega: and :golem-alola: for the 600BP STAB Explosion.
Name: Rash Powder
Power: --
Accuracy: 75%
PP: 30
Category: Status
Type: Grass
Effect: Burns the target.
Priority: 0
Flags: Powder, Reflectable
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Everything with Stun Spore
Justification: Rounds out the Poison Powder / Stun Spore / Sleep Powder group of moves. Burn is a strong status effect, and one that a lot of Grass-types would like to spread, making them less passive. The Bugs that get it also appreciate it, I'm sure.
Name: Chili Pepper
Effect:Thaws the Pokemon when held, then consumes the item. While this Pokemon is holding this item, it is immune to burn.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10 and burns
Justification: Burn immunity could be really cool for physical mons and while freeze isn't common, when it does occur, it can be game-ending.
Name: Wide Lens / Zoom Lens
Effect: The accuracy of the holder's moves is increased by 20%. | The accuracy of the holder's moves is increased by 50% if the target has already moved or switched out.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10, none
Justification: The accuracy boost provided by these items is so pathetic that they're basically never worth running. A 20% boost from Wide Lens lets you never miss with anything with 85% accuracy or more, while the 80% accurate moves like Hydro Pump and Stone Edge get a much healthier 96% accuracy. Zoom Lens is probably still bad but 90% accurate Hypnosis if they switch out is funny.
Name: Whipped Dream
Effect: Boosts the Power of Fairy Type Moves by 20% (Pixie Plate Clone).
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power: 30 BP
Justification: Why hasn't there been an item that boosts Fairy Moves that isn't an Arceus Plate? Also, I like how we're making trade items less trashy, so I decided to tag along in this practice.
Name: Honey Gather
Effect: At the end of each turn, if this Pokemon has no item, it gets Honey. Knock Off doesn't get boosted against Pokemon with this ability.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :ursaring: (over Unnerve), :vespiquen: :munchlax: :snorlax: (over Gluttony) :wurmple: :silcoon: :beautifly: :cascoon: :dustox: :burmy: :wormadam: (all 3) :mothim: :cherubi: :cherrim: :heracross: (over Swarm) :exeggcute: :exeggutor: :exeggutor-alola: :crabrawler: :crabominable: (over Anger Point) :skwovet: :greedent: :emolga: :applin: :flapple: :appletun: (over Gluttony) :ekans: :arbok: (over Unnerve)
Justification: Changing Honey to be useful is really cool, but this ability is still useless. While a lot of these mons are weak to SR (and probably still run Boots), those that aren't definitely get some huge viability out of double Leftovers and, essentially, a Knock Off immunity.
Name: Hydration
Effect: This Pokemon has its status cured at the end of each turn if Rain Dance is active or if hit by Water moves; Water immunity.
Permanent (Yes or No): no
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: current distribution + :ludicolo:, :Toxicroak: :Quagsire:, :suicune:, :Mantine:, :muk:/:muk-alola:(?) etc.
Justification: Hydration is a niche ability as is, relying on rain to cure status, so i decided to give it some use outside of rain as a Water Absorb Sidegrade that heals status instead of HP. with this, you can heal off any Toxic Poison or Paralysis by being hit with a water type move, making any Scald users like :wishiwashi-school: and especially :toxapex: think twice about spamming it. however, you will still need a reliable source of recovery to use this ability proper, as you don't gain any hp from it.
also Manaphy goes a little bit harder but a water immunity on a mon with a water resist anyway shouldn't break things that much.
Name: Parental Bond
Effect: No longer affects fixed damage moves (ala Seismic Toss, Super Fang). Now affects two turn charge moves (turn 1 is executed once, turn two hits twice), Uproar, Rollout / Ice Ball and Fling if equipped with the item Boomerang.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current distribution
Justification: Parental Bond allowing Seismic Toss and Super Fang to work is the reason why Mega Kangaskhan is still banned post Gamefreak nerf, as you can theoretically KO every non Ghost and non Blissey Pokemon with that move combination. I decided to fix that, allowing Mega Kang into the tier. I alzo reworked how the ability interacts with certain other moves, to make it more logically consistent since a few of these flavor wise may not make sense without JolteMons context. Also Big Fling Zarude.
:sm/magmortar::sm/electivire:
Name: Magmortar & Electivire
Type:
Fire.png
Fighting.png
(Magmortar)
Electric.png
Dark.png
(Electivire)
Abilities:
Magmortar - Flame Body / Magma Armor / Neutralizing Gas
Electivire - Motor Drive / Libero / Iron Fist
New Moves
Magmortar: Aura Sphere, Sludge Bomb, Dragon Pulse, Vacuum Wave
Electivire: Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Close Combat, Mach Punch, Drain Punch, Meteor Mash
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Magmortar is already pretty good, but it would be a whole lot more appealing and easier to use with a type that isn't weak to Stealth Rock. Fire/Fighting gives it just that, allowing it to much more freely run Shell Bell or Lefties without feeling like you're stepping on eggshells, while preserving its good matchups against Toxapex, Glowking (shakier since you have to switch before Future Sight hits, but you still annoy it), and Fairy-types now that it has Sludge Bomb as an option. On the other hand, there's Electivire. That thing needs a LOT of help to help sniff OU and while it's still a hard sell over Zeraora or Tapu Koko no matter what I do, I can at least try to make it usable. Electric/Dark is a unique offensive typing, combining two of the best offensive typings in the game, giving EVire hard hitting and good coverage with Iron Fist Thunder Punch, Knock Off, and Sucker punch alone. From there, you can run Swords Dance to make EVire even scarier, Close Combat or Drain Punch to murder Ferrothorn, or Ice Punch to snipe Landorus and Garchomp. Meteor Mash is an option to cover your newfound Fairy weakness as well. EVire's stats lends itself pretty well to this playstyle, having just enough Speed to outspeed most of the things it threatens with Knock or Thunder Punch while most things that outspeed it don't want to take Sucker Punch. Again, EVire will never be a top tier or anything, but this should make not nearly as terrible as it currently is.
:ss/beedrill-mega:
Name: Beedrill-Mega
Type:
Bug.png
Ground.png

Abilities: Adaptability
New Moves: First Impression
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Not too much has changed, but enough to bump Beedrill up in viability. Mega Beedrill forgoes it’s poison typing for the ground typing now, giving it a rather unique STAB combo to utilize in competitive play. It also gains access to First Impression, allowing Beedrill to threaten the likes of Mega Alakazam. Despite these buffs, Mega Beedrill still definitely has counter play. Due to its incredibly frail nature, switching in can be challenging, and even when on the field it finds itself still incredibly vulnerable to priority.
:sm/cresselia:
Name: Cresselia
Type: Fairy
Abilities: Levitate / Cloud Nine (Hidden)
New Moves: Haze, Defog
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Cresselia being a Psychic-type is frankly 100% a symptom of the Fairy-type not existing in Gen IV and Game Freak not wanting to retype legendaries. Pure Fairy gives it a much, much better defensive type to use with its incredible bulk, while Haze and Defog help with its issues of passivity. Cloud Nine as a hidden is admittedly a pretty niche option, but it does have the advantage of letting it overcome weather sweepers much more easily, and also makes Moonlight a significantly more reliable recovery option, only really let down by its 5 PP.
:ss/dodrio:
Name: Dodrio
Type:
Ground.png
Flying.png

Abilities: Analytic / Early Bird / Moody
New Moves: Earthquake, High Horsepower, Triple Axel
Removed Moves:
Justification: Lando 2. Absolutely insane buffs to typing, ability, and movepool easily catapult it into OU (and yes, it has flavor for all of this. Ask me about it if you're wondering), with pseudo-Speed Boost in tandem with Swords Dance allowing for terrifying sweeping sets, or Analytic providing a great immediate power boost to all of its moves, allowing it to take advantage of the switches it forces. Near-perfect coverage in BB/EQ/Axel is great, and Ground/Flying is an amazing typing both offensively and defensively. Still has obnoxiously low bulk, and doesn't hit particularly hard unboosted, but while it might be hard to get going, it easily has the tools to become a staple.
:ss/dusclops::ss/dusknoir:
Pokemon: Dusclops and Dusknoir
Type:
Ghost.png
Fighting.png
--->
Ghost.png
Fighting.png
(for both)
Ability: Pressure / Soul Link / Iron Fist ---> Pressure / Soul Link / Iron Fist
Movepool: +Body Press, Drain Punch, Strength Sap
Description: Inspired by Sirfetch'd and Farsola-Galar from FELT. Dusclops gets a hefty Body Press and Dusknoir gets Shadow Sneak and a lot more random coverage with the (now-buffed) elemental punches. Strength Sap is also a helpful tool for both the defensive Dusknoir and bulky, offensive Dusknoir. Combine with the Curse I'm subbing for supreme epicness.
:sm/sliggoo::sm/goodra:
Type:
Dragon.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Sticky Hold / Hydration / Gooey
New Moves: Corrosive Gas
Justification: Simple buff that goes miles. Dragon/Poison is a very good defensive typing and they have the fatness to back it up. Now also got the new Life Dew. Not much else to say here really.

Now we'll start the seventh (probably less than) 24 hour Distribution/Discussion Phase. During this phase, you can discuss what mons should and shouldn't get the newly added moves and abilities. The council will use your feedback and create a final list. After that, the next submission phase will start immediately.

It's recommended that you use the Discord to discuss distribution (in #distribution-discussion), though you can use this thread as well. See you there!

I am very satisfied with the distribution suggestions Ema Skye provided for Honey Gather. The only thing I would add is giving Aipom and Ambipom Honey Gather over Pickup.

Congrats to the winners. I'm extremely wary of the explosion moves having won though, so I would urge not giving them too many things if we can.

Honestly, between my neck killing me and the move suggestions and ability suggestions all otherwise seeming apt, this will likely be the shortest discussion phase yet I imagine.

As such, the only other thing I have to say is :bewear: should get Honey Gather over Klutz or Unnerve (whichever one it uses less) since it at least fits that remaining bear mon even if it doesn't fit Pangoro or especially Beartic and that we should probably avoid giving the Muks Hydration or at least Muk-Alola mon anyway given Power of Alchemy. [/no sympathy for former Regenerator mons] They seem like they'd just fall apart with too much Water anyway. (That said, if we keep trying to unban mons from Ubers, we could also give Hydration to :dracovish: over Strong Jaw. It might remain too obnoxious though. Shrug.)

speed ran distribution again, open to more suggestions/objections for 24 hours, you know the deal it happens basically every slate now

Very interested to hear any additional opinions on these, especially Explosion since we removed it from so many mons for balancing reasons.
Speaking of balance, because of Parental Bond's nerf, Mega Kangaskhan will be unbanned.

Also, we have a couple quick buffs to give out:
:arctozolt:Meltdown:ninetales-alola: - Now also applies the Soak effect to the target after hitting along with the original effects - Meltdown was a pretty meh move on mostly bad Pokémon before, so with this buff that gives the powerful Soak effect, Ice-types can take advantage of this by removing the opponent's STAB and making them vulnerable (though we may nerf it to make it a Water-type Trick-or-Treat effect instead of Soak if removing STAB proves to be too strong, but we'll see)
:nidoking:Poison Dart:toxicroak: - 16 PP -> 48 PP - Not a huge buff or anything, but I realized too late that I forgot to change Poison Dart's PP to match other Quick Attack clones

With that done, submissions for Slate 8 are now open!

Accuracy: 85
PP: 5
Category:

Type:
Psychic.png

Effect: 1/4 recoil. Cures the user of infatuation.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :alomomola::azelf::blissey::celebi::greninja::hatterene::hitmonlee::hoopa::hoopa-unbound::latias::latios::lucario::magearna::manaphy::mesprit::metagross::mew::mewtwo::mienshao::pangoro::rapidash-galar::uxie::victini::zapdos-galar: (probably shouldn't do :gallade: at this point, but at least :gardevoir:)
Justification: Physical Alolachu. Need I say more? Ok but seriously, for a move that was originally a signature and even now has almost no distribution, Heart Stamp sucks hard. The interesting thing is, it's a physical Psychic move, which we do not have a lot of. So, I bumped up the BP a bit and gave it a cool secondary effect. It is currently the only offensive move that cures infatuation, but that isn't really important, as the only reason I added that was to change the flavor a bit to justify increased distribution. Flavor-wise, what I'm thinking of with this is sort of, 'the user stomps on its own heart (or the opponent's) to crush any unnecessary feelings', which broadens things a bit from the current flavor, also allowing in mons that are emotion-related (of which there are many among Psychic types). Should be a sick addition to a lot of mons.
Name: Gorilla Tactics / Concussion
Effect: While this Pokemon is active, opposing Pokemon cannot use their items.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :darmanitan::darmanitan-galar::passimian::primeape::simipour::simisage::simisear: | :bewear::krookodile::pangoro::scrafty::terrakion:
Justification: Collab with Ema so we stop splitting votes. Both have the same effect, but different flavor so distribution can be more tailored. Let's get these in.

Name: Scavenge
Effect: When another Pokemon on the field faints, this Pokemon restores 1/3 of its max HP, rounded down.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :absol::feraligatr::houndoom::garchomp::guzzlord::luxray::mandibuzz::mightyena::noivern::purugly::raticate::raticate-alola::staraptor: (probably not this one, but :weavile: fits so well. same with :zeraora:)
Justification: Rework of an ability I subbed to FERU. Great longevity tool for bulky attackers, while also being much more bearable than Regen.
Name: Cursed Belt
Effect: When the holder uses a status move, this item disables it. If the holder has a move disabled, its attacks deal 1.3x damage.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: This one is very strong, but I believe it's in a healthy way. Gives a damageless Life Orb boost at the cost of a moveslot and a setup turn, but setup sweepers and the like absolutely love it, and Speed Boost mons like Blaziken who already run Protect go absolutely wild. Still easily counterplayed and the mons that would usually run it are easy to force out, thus removing the item's effect until they use another status move. Also provides a way to punish Cursed Body.

Name: Shiny Leaf
Effect: If the holder is a Grass type, it restores 1/16 of its max HP at the end of each turn. Otherwise, it is Leech Seeded.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10
Justification: Grass leftovers. Loses its luster a bit since Reaper Cloth also exists, but getting a perma-leech on an opponent is really, really strong.

Abilities: Simple | Fur Coat | Thick Fat (Overcoat remains HA for all 3)
New Moves: Recover (Plant, Sandy), Spikes (Sandy, Trash), Thunderbolt (Plant, Trash), Sticky Web (Sandy), Earth Power (All), U-Turn (All)
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: These all suck hard, so I gave them tools to potentially have niches. Plant Cloak now gains access to the ridiculous combo of Simple and Quiver Dance, and while its stats are still so bad that it won't immediately become meta-defining, Thunderbolt and Earth Power giving it near-perfect coverage for a lot of the types that resist Bug Buzz helps a lot. Meanwhile, Sandy already boasts a fairly respectable typing in Bug/Ground, and with the combination of Fur Coat and Recover, it becomes the single bulkiest Fur Coat mon, as well as the only one with reliable recovery. I can easily see it having a niche as a physical wall, and with the addition of Sticky Web to its movepool (to make up for EP no longer being exclusive to it), it has another niche as the single bulkiest webs setter. Finally, the star of the show, Trash Cloak, gets the absurd combination of a Bug/Steel typing and Thick Fat, giving it a single 2x weakness to Fire in exchange for an immunity and 9 resistances. This combined with the buffed Reconstruct and the addition of Spikes and U-Turn make it a great defensive pivot, with low base stats made up for by its sheer number of resistances. Overall, at least one of these should see OU play.

:swsh/guzzlord:
Name: Guzzlord
Type:
Dark.png
Dragon.png

Abilities: Beast Boost / Honey Gather
New Moves: Glare, Nasty Plot, Parting Shot, Slack Off
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification: Guzzlord is a fun bulky attacker, but it got absolutely ruined when Game Freak decided not to give it any recovery past non-STAB Drain Punch. Slack Off and Parting Shot make it a fun slow pivot, able to nuke mons with STAB Draco or just spam Knock Off. Beast Boost is still a good choice for its ability, but Honey Gather allows it to work as a koff absorber itself, resisting the hit and gaining Honey to help it sponge even more hits. NP is funny but setup opportunities are few and far-between, plus it's still got like 10 speed. Glare is mostly for Chandelure status spam teams lol.

cool stuff has been cooked. vote for gtact/conc

Name
: Fishious Rend / Bolt Beak / Draco Dash / Arctic Assault
Power: 85
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Category: Physical
Type: Water / Electric / Dragon / Ice
Effect: First two keep the same effect. The latter two have a Core Enforcer effect.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact [Rend no longer bites]
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Fishious Rend: ???
Bolt Beak: ???
Draco Dash: :dracovish: :dracozolt:
Arctic Assault: :arctovish: :arctozolt:
...I guess you can give them to more mons if you really just want to watch the world burn
Justification: The nerf on Rend likely brings Dracovish into the tier again, and not overhauling the moves preserves Arctozolt's niche in OU, while keeping Dracozolt relatively the same mon. The new ones complete the fossil group of moves with a new effect to mirror the original moves. For the 'dracos', this is literally just a physical and weaker Core Enforcer, but Wishi has shown this is a cool move and so I think it would be cool. For the 'arctos', they gain the niche of having the only ability-suppressing moves without an immunity, and with their Rend/Beak move, they are going to be hard to switch into (risking double damage from Rend/Beak if you switch, or getting your ability negated by Dash/Assault). Also means Dracovish isn't entering the tier just nerfed from main, but gains a new toy that I'm sure it can use.

Name: Baton Pass
Power: 70
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Category: Physical
Type: Normal
Effect: Switches the user out. The incoming Pokemon attacks immediately using this move.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound):
Potential Pokémon With This Move: don't think it needs more (might even need decreased distribution idk)
Justification: DLCmons Hive Mind is such a cool move and this plays into Baton Pass' original pivoting ability. It is hard to work with as the Pokemon using it effectively only has 3 moveslots to work with, but it's such a fun move that opens up some new strategies.

Name: Fire Fang / Ice Fang / Thunder Fang / Poison Fang
Power: 65
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Category: Physical
Type: Fire / Ice / Electric / Poison
Effect: 20% chance to inflict burn / freeze / paralysis / toxic poison. Damage is doubled if the target is burned / frozen / paralyzed / poisoned.
Priority: 0
Flags: Bite
Potential Pokemon With This Move: There probably don't need to be more?
Justification: Combine your status spread move as a nuke with team support. Very specialized Hex clones would probably find a place on the right build.

Name: Magma Storm / Thunder Cage / Clamp / Snap Trap
Power: 100
Accuracy: 90
PP: 5
Category: Spec / Spec / Phys / Phys
Type: Fire / Electric / Water / Grass
Effect: If it lands, binds the opponent for 1/8th HP for 4-5 turns.
Priority: 0
Potential Pokémon With This Move:
Magma Storm: :numel::slugma::torkoal::magby::sizzlipede:
Thunder Cage: :elekid::electrike::xurkitree::lanturn::joltik:
Clamp: :tentacool::frillish::dwebble::omastar:
Snap Trap: :carnivine::pansage:
Justification: I'm tired of missing Magma Storm but trapping moves are genuinely pretty cool so it'd be cool if there was more than 1 viable mon with them. Might help Magmortar be a bit more viable with the chip damage helping it land KOs, or Galvantula trapping and then using its free switch.

Abilities

Name:
Depolarize
Effect: This Pokemon's attacks ignore the Steel-type.
Permanent (Yes or No): No

Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :vikavolt: :beartic: :empoleon: :klinklang: :dedenne: :togedemaru: :gigalith: :carbink: :solrock: :lunatone: :bronzong:
Justification: What Corrosion should've been. Gives a lot of mons with normally bad STAB the opportunity to break through the strongest defensive typing.

Name: Super Luck
Effect: This Pokemon's critical hit rate is based on its speed stat (calculated like Gen 1). Moves with increased crit rate have their crit chance increased to 8x the Pokemon's critical rate (also a Gen 1 effect).
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: :tauros: :electrode: :sirfetchd: :farfetchd: :krabby::kingler::meowth: :persian::meowth-galar: :perrserker::meowth-alola: :persian-alola::sobble::drizzile: :inteleon::spoink: :grumpig:
Justification: Relatively obscure Gen 1 mechanic to be brought back is kinda neat in function. There are two crucial numbers to note. First is 34 base speed, which means this ability is a boost in crit rate compared to normal mons. The next is 64 speed. This number both matches Super Luck in function (a 12.5% crit rate), but also ensures the increased crit moves like Slash always crit. This could provide a cool way of buffing some Pokemon given that we can't buff stats, but increased crit (especially with auto-crit moves) can still amplify damage.

Name: Arena Trap / Shadow Tag
Effect: This Pokemon's physical moves/special moves do 30% more damage against trapped foes.
Permanent (Yes or No): No

Potential Pokémon With This Ability:

Shadow Tag: :ninetales: :spiritomb: :decidueye:
Justification: Repurposes these abilities to actually be competitive. Has some cool synergy with partial trapping moves.

Name: Bulletproof / Mega Launcher
Effect: The user is immune to ball, bomb and pulse moves. / The user's ball, bomb and pulse moves are boosted by 1.5x.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability:

Mega Launcher: :vikavolt: :glaceon: :exeggutor: :exeggutor-alola: :duraludon: :octillery:
Justification: For whatever reason, Aura Sphere is both a 'ball' and a 'pulse' move, and there are only 3 other viable pulse moves (and I think it's really weird to have an ability that only interacts with 4 moves...), so I made these two counterparts by combining the moves they interact with. Obviously watch out for Focus Blast with Mega Launcher. Clawitzer loves it because it lets it compete with other offensive Waters (Life Orb Focus Blast OHKOs Ferrothorn)

Very interested to hear any additional opinions on these, especially Explosion since we removed it from so many mons for balancing reasons.
Mudspike is nice and all, but outside of Nidoking and maybe Scolipede this move probably won't see the light of day. A few of the lower tier Poisons like it a bit though, so expect Drapion and maybe Stunfisk give it a fair shake in NU / ZU respectively.

Bonemerang is a funny form of priority, and continues the subtle buffs of the Marowaks as we march forward to the end of the mod. Outside of that it may not go into JolteMons relevancy anytime soon.

Mega Venusaur having a means to spread burns will do wonders for its viability, even if it is more than a bit inaccurate. I was a bit bummed that neither Tangrowth nor Amoonguss gest the move, but I will concede on both of those since this gives Mega Venu a firm leg up against the lot of them. Also, Meganium gets more tools to try and get it out of ZU, very funny.

I'd care about Honey Gather if every recipient of the ability sans Snorlax was not heavily lashed to its Item slot. It's a fine ability, though not my cup of tea, but could have used some insight into distribution. I think Snorlax had much better abilities like Immunity and Thick Fat to work with either way so I am not feeling this at all.

Meltdown was a much needed buff, the move was genuinely awful otherwise. With a damage dealing Soak maybe one or two of the Ice types that get it may get usage out of it. Also, this was never clarified, does the ×1.5 boost Ice types innately get stack with STAB? Because Specs Lapras sounds very dank right about now if it does.

Poison Dart buff I did not know we needed, but we deserved.

The Pokémon modifications are pretty amazing this slate, people went all out here nd I am glad some very unique winners propped up.

It is a bit unfortunate Beedrill did not get Ground as it's base typing nor get Mudspike, as I feel those wouod cement it as an OU Mega + give us more reasons to use Mudspike in OU, but ig we do what we gotta do, lower tiers need Megas too!

While I am not a fan of Dusclops and Goomy line buffs, I still feel these Pokemon will only positively improve the metagame, and they feel like well thought out submissions both flavorfully and competitvely, so cheers to that and the creators.

The Magmortar buff he needed to finally terrorize OU is here and in living colour, not being weak to Rocks + big boy's Focus Blast is huge for Mag, I expect this to lay hard pipe. Electivire much less so due to the more awkward defensive typing and speed tier for a mon of its function, but I feel this Pokemon can whip out some hidden tech on niche teams. I still largely expect him to reside in UU where SD Big Ba Punches can go as hard as it would like.

Pixie Cressilia sounds funny as fuck, VERY much so when you type "Cressilia Smogon OU SS" into your local internet search engine. That being said, it MAY not fully acclimate as a OU Pokemon but it sure as hell will try and I am here for it.

The bird is funny. Hopefully it is good. It probably isn't, but I hope it is.

nice time done.

Hydration and Parental Bond distribution so weird to me, it just screamz that people feeling they HAVE to add reworked abilities to Pokemon in a slate, when that is simply not the case. You can just buff abilities and let them be yk, esp ones with already wide distribution. Realistically speaking, what is the point of any of these modifications? Its not adding anything to the metagame, and at this point people are just hop scotching with abilities. Jellicent has had ability modifications 6 times since the start of the Pet Mod, that's just ridiculous and tells me people do not know what they want. There is nothing flavor wise to suggest either ability modification, nothing competitive, so it just comes off as bad and forced. Hydration would definitely be redeemed if yall actually just gave it to Suicune instead of Inner Focus but it was not meant to be.

Nice, we had to completely rework how Explosion and Self Destruct are distributed in the metagame because a couple people refused to accept that Gamefreak made a concious decision to remove a game element in order to balance it when they made a step towards reworking their gameplay, killing a bunch of viable sets. For what? SD Silvally, CB Metagross and Mega Glalie? Not much outside of these Pokemon will surface with these moves in standard play outside of memes. Because the moves had to be restrained to PU mons and stuff that would rather do something other than click Explosion just to balance it out. I genuinely think this is the worst win to happen since broken Mega Houndoom got in. Misty Explosion is weak enough where it doesn't matter that much, so much less to worry about there, but Misty Explosion pulling up on Scarf Fini sounds like something I'd rather not face. Overall seems like a fundamental lack of understanding of gameplay balance that just results in bad mons getting slightly better.

All that is said and done its a more or less inconsequential slate if you do not address the Pokemon Modifications, but that's kind of how it goes when you do "so broken you had to give it to shit mons to balance it out" + Aquatic moves win.

Can Be Knocked Off? Yes
Ignored by Klutz? Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10 BP
Justification: I always kept thinking big root was better than it actually is. With this simple buff, I believe this underwhelming Item can stand a slight chance.
Abilities
Name
: Rivalry
Effect: This Pokemon's attacks have their power multiplied by 1.25 against targets of the same gender. No longer has attack power decreased against the opposite gender.
Permanent? No
Mold Breaker? No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current Distribution+ Basculin (Maybe), Zangoose and Seviper, Meowstic (replaces infiltrator), Duraludon (Replaces either Light Metal or Heavy Metal), Igglybuff Line (Replaces Cute Charm), Milotic (Replaces Cute Charm), and Corviknight Line (Replaces Unnerve).
Justification: This hopefully Makes rivalry less garbage. It's still an extremely niche ability, but now you don't have to worry about power drops. I gave this ability to some Pokemon that can have "Competitive" as an ability because for some reason, I once confused the two abilities with one another.
Adjustments
Name
: Wigglytuff
Type: Normal/Fairy
Abilities: Cute Charm/Competitive/Libero
New Moves: Moonblast, Psyshock, Aura Sphere, Superpower, Aerial Ace, Rock Slide, Signal Beam, Earthquake
Removed Moves: None, Lol
Note: All of these Move additions also apply to Jigglypuff
Justification: Damn, Eight Slates in and Wigglytuff is still trashy. I doubt these changes are gonna catapult it into OU, but I hope these changes are enough to make Wigglytuff usable (Especially with Moonblast compensating for it's meh damage output). The physical moves were added solely for making it's movepool even more massive than it already was, with some move additions that Clefable doesn't have (Though I doubt people would even use these options).

Name: Vikavolt
Type: Bug/Electric
Abilities: Levitate/Speed Boost
New Moves: Mud Bomb, Hurricane, Sludge Bomb, Focus Blast
Removed Moves: None lol
Justification: I want it. You want it. We all want it. With Speed Boost, it not only fits the flavor of it's Pokedex entries mentioning acrobatic flying maneuvers, but also helps patch up it's godawful speed. With a speed stat of 43, it may take a while to actually get going, but I can still see this Pokemon being a deadly revenge killer with these buffs.

Name: Landorus-Incarnate
Type: Ground/Flying
Abilities: Sand Force/Competitive
New Moves: Air Slash, Hurricane.
Removed Moves: None lol
Justification: Considering Sheer Force is the only thing that is making it broken in the first place, I don't see why Landorus-Incarnate couldn't come down to OU with this slight change. With Competitive, it can even counter it's own Therian form, which I find hilarious!

Flags: Sound
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Current Distribution+Mismagius, Delphox, Hatterene, Some eeveelutions, and Honchkrow.
Justification: I buffed this move in order to truly help the user win PP stall wars. The main draw back of the move was it's ironically low base PP. With this buff, there's now a true justification for it's use over psyshock or psychic.

Name: Egg Bomb
Power:???
Accuracy: 90
PP: 16
Category: Physical
Type: Normal
Effect: Deals damage equal to the user's level. The user regains 1/2 damage dealt.

Potential Pokémon With This Move: Same Distribution as Soft-Boiled+Exeggcute Line and Igglybuff Line.
Justification: Stolen Straight out of Bust A Move. With the Humongus HP of Chansey and Blissey, 50 hp recovery is barely anything to write home about. However, it could act as a nice alternative to seismic toss to compensate for a lack of leftovers recovery.

Rash Powder and Bonemerang are based

Lens buff is just epic, it buffs pokemon like Froslass, who relies on moves like Triple Axel and Poltergeist.

Parental Bond and Honey Gather based, Hydration is,,,,,,, weird? why would you buff it like this,,,, maybe just a shed skin clone that in rain 100% removes the status? idk, but another water immunity is not what this meta needs

All modifications are based, except the beedrill one (the one bug/poison type able to actually reach ou, and you change its type:/ )

Well, even as someone who mostly plays HO, the Explosion and co buff strikes me in a bad way, it is not the direction you want the metagame to take, now, what are yall gonna add? a move that revives a fainted mon? explosion and self destruct were nerfed for a REASON, having a "delete-a-mon" button in random, high attack mons is dumb, even Game Freak knew that, thats why Explosion its so bad it cant even be considered a niche option today.

Justification: Weaker Solar Power but for sand and without the drawback. Sand has been falling off a bit so this could be a solid buff to the playstyle. Mega ttar getting it could be cool to set its own boost before mega evolving, and mega chomp seems nuts. Rhydon could pair this with eviolite in sand to have huge special bulk and a solid damage output, and eviolith could also be funny.

Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No):
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No):
Fling Power & Effect: 30 bp, confuses target
Justification: A useful item to counter weather and screen teams. Another use could be if you have a Pokémon on your weather/screens/terrain team that can't make use of the field, so u "pause" the turns so you don't waste them.

:swsh/Audino-mega:
Name: Audino-Mega
Type: Normal/Fairy
Abilities: Fairy Aura
New Moves: Moonblast, Counterspell
Removed Moves: none
Justification: Mega Audino is a decent looking mon at first. great bulk, good coverage, proper healing in the buffed Life Dew, setup in Calm Mind and status removal in Heal Bell... and then you look at the useless ability and immediately dismiss it. let's fix that.
Fairy Aura gives it a way of boosting its typically-mediocre damage output, at least with Fairy attacks. Moonblast and Counterspell give it good Fairy STABs to use instead of Dazzling Gleam. those aside, it really doesn't need that many new tools to be usable.

:swsh/Sceptile::swsh/Sceptile-Mega:
Name: Sceptile & Sceptile-Mega
Type: Grass/Dragon
Abilities: Overgrow/Unburden -> Lightningrod
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Uturn
Removed Moves: none
Justification: Sceptile is also one of those megas that need just a little bit of a push to be OU. giving it Draco Meteor means it has a nice special attack option that isn't Dragon Pulse, while U-turn allows for momentum preservation and chip damage. Lightningrod may be odd but switching this in on a Volt Switch is a free +1 while also halting your opponent's pivoting. and at 145 base SpA, even +1 is gonna hurt.

Surprise announcement!

It came to my attention very recently that I made a mistake announcing winners. As it turned out, I missed that one other move also had 5 votes and thus did win this slate, so in addition to the winners we already have, Payback / Revenge / Avalanche has also won!
Name: Payback / Revenge / Avalanche
Power: 50
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10
Category:

Ice.png

Effect: Power doubles if the user moves last or the opponent switches out
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Protect, Mirror, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Old Distribution / Old Distribution + :banette: / Old Distribution
Justification: Gen 4 Payback is probably one of the only physical Dark moves that can compete with current gen Knock Off, thanks to giving slow attackers a consistent 110 BP move, which stuff like Crawdaunt very much appreciates, plus how many anti Knock measures we've added with signature items, Reaper Cloth, and Sticky Hold. Also makes Revenge a nice midground between Drain Punch and Close Combat for slow Fighters and makes Avalanche a real STAB option for slow Ice-types that don't get Ice Punch or TAxel

Along with the ongoing 24 extra hours of distribution, which ends in a couple hours and may actually yield some changes this time, you can discuss distribution for these three moves on Discord (though since a ton of Pokémon learn these moves already, I don't expect much).

Keep up the submissions and see you on Discord to discuss distribution!

My neck is still acting up again, so this isn't an actual submission post, which I'll probably do Wednesday at earliest.

Given how many things already get one of Payback, Revenge, or Avalanche, especially that first one, legitimately the only additional things I could see getting any of them are maybe :toxtricity: getting either Payback or Revenge just for flavor and possibly giving Revenge to either :flareon: or :leafeon: since there's still no Fighting-type Eevee and since Umbreon and Glaceon already have Payback and Avalanche covered respectively. Gods know that Leafeon could use the coverage even if its Speed backfires a bit here.

Otherwise G-Luke said pretty much everything else I would have said about what won, especially the explosive moves, even if I do think Mud Spike is a tad more useful than he does. (Giving it to :beedrill: would be nice though with the new changes to Beedrill-Mega.)

And the extra 24 hours are up and, including the round up for Payback and friends, we've got some results!

Thanks to everyone who participated and thank you for sticking with us through the chaos of this slate!
Submissions are open for 4 more days, so keep those coming!

I feel like current Explosion and friends would be fine I guess…? in Sylvemons (or something with an absolutely ridiculous power level), but here? It is not fine at all.

Can we do a vote to revert Explosion + Self Destruct?
After the changes are playable and if the playerbase wants it then sure, but doing it now before it's playable would be much too early, especially before it's playable, opinions on it seem to be extremely split. Also, it's better to ask short questions like this on Discord, especially since we're in the Submission Phase now

Physical Rocks have it pretty bad having to choose between Stone Edge and Rock Slide, so this move is for them, no non-Rocks allowed (besides Smeargle and maybe Mew or MAggron). It’s kind of like Draco Meteor or Burn Up but with slightly lower power and less of a downside, such that it can be used as an extremely powerful attack the first time you click it after switching in, but still deals passable damage after losing STAB, meaning you don‘t need to commit a second moveslot to a more spammable Rock move. Losing your Rock type is also interesting for defensive mixups. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that this is a chance to give Lycanroc-Dusk and Barbaracle the contact Rock move they both desperately want.

:ss/Regieleki::ss/regidrago:
+U-turn, +Taunt, +Smart Strike, +Punishment (Regieleki) | +Ice Fang, +Swords Dance, +Spikes, +Dragon Hammer (Regidrago) +Encore (both)

People like changing aspects of Regidrago and Regieleki, but always try to enforce change in spite of, not along the course with these Pokémon, then people wonder why the adjustments are either broken or bad. These changes both serve to enhance the inherent strengths of these Pokémon without necessarily altering how they operate on a core design philosophy. Regieleki is a very fast pivot like option, but is such deadweight to the switchins of Grounds people generally opt out of it. With U-turn, it acts in a similar manner to Boots Koko, spamming U-turn when Grounds are around and clicking Tbolt when the coast is clear, whioe still not having the same nuances like secondary STAB, recovery and coverage offer. Taunt Regieleki is based. That is all. Regidrago is famous for not having a single non Normal type move above 70 BP that can hit Fairies neutrally. Thats important, as Drago shouodnt be able to bypass Fairies on its own so easily. So I gave it some options to be able to do stuff outside of clicking their STAB nuke, so Spikes and SD are nice for it, being able to use Spikes to chip its checks or opting for Swords Dance and hoping the Fairy you encounter is weak to Thunder Fang.

Ha Ha they get Encore so the opponent can spam one move all the time like they do ha ah.

Water.png

+Aqua Jet, +Flip Turn, +Mach Punch, +Recover, +Toxic, +Taunt

Grapploct gains buffs to both it's Rain Dish set and its Technician sets, allowing Rain Dish Octolock sets to be able to trap passive walls much more effectively, and its Technician sets gain powerful priority and STAB pivoting.

Levitate / Neuroforce | Swift Swim
+Poison Jab, +Gunk Shot, +Surf, +Sludge Bomb, +Toxic Spikes, +Liquidation, +Venoshock, +Ice Punch, +Toxic Thread, +Scald
Eelektross is pretty interesting as a Pokemon after this rework. It's typing is arguably improved by quite a bit (serving as a natural check to Melmetal), and it gained quite a few interesting options to utilize. Swift Swim and the presence of multiple Water type moves serve as to diversify Eelektross's options outside of simply never dropping Levitate, and is an angle unique from other mod's interpretation of Eel as far as I seen.

:ss/avalugg:
+Icicle Spear, +Ice/Ground typing

Simple buff here, Avalugg likes Ice Body, but passive healing wont overcome seveeal of Avaluggs shortcomings, like being passive as hell outisde of BPress and offering negative defensive utility to a team. Gaining the Ground typing removes its SR weakness, and gives it an Electric immunity, while giving it reliable STAB in Earthquake. Ofc, this is not without risk, as it loses an Ice resist and gains several weaknesses. Even still, now Avalugg can claim its proper place as defensive teams Blanket Defensive wall.
Name: Anticipation
Effect: As long as its on the field, this Pokemon is alerted if any opposing Pokemon has an attack that is super effective on this Pokemon, or an OHKO move. If triggered, raises its highest defensive stat by 1 stage.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability:
No new additions so far, but probably should.

With this change, Anticipation finally has some viable usage. Changing the parameters of the trigger vastly improve the move, as now it goes from finding niche lures that may not even exist to always being active. Realistically a Toxicroak would not swap into a Psychic type, but a Psychic type would definitely come in on it. Raising its highest defensive stat is just icing on the cake. As is now tge ability is on par with Ferrothorn's Iron Barbs and is still probably Toxicroak's worst ability, but with some other distribution this ability could easily go hard.

Name: Gorilla Tactics
Effect: Boosts the Attack of the user by 1.5, but locks the user into the last move they selected. Disables any Choice Items while active.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :Primeape: :simisear: :simisage: :simipour:

Darmanitan-Galar has always been a great wallbreaker, but stacking choice items has always pushed it past breaking point. Now without that impediment, GDarm (and potentially more Apes?) are alot more balanced.

Flags: Punch, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Hammer Arm: :Dusknoir: :Crabominable: :Poliwrath: / Ice Hammer: :abomasnow: :darmanitan-galar::poliwrath:
Justification: What Iron Fist users need the most....a reason to use their punching STAB over Close Combat! Hammer Arm gets a well needed bump in viability, turning from bad to great in no time!

Name: Jaw Lock
Power: 110
Accuracy: 90%
PP: 5 [Max 8]
Category:

Effect: Traps both the user and the opponent when used.
Priority: 0
Flags: Bite, Contact
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :lycanroc: :lycanroc-midnight: :lycanroc-dusk: :tyrunt: :relicanth: :mightyena: :tyranitar: :dracovish: :sharpedo:
Justification: The new and improved Jaw Lock finally does what the base should have done - be a well worth Risk - Reward scenario. 80 BP Dark move just simply was not worth using on it's sole user Drednaw, but now, being a 110 BP Rock type attack, basically guaranteeting that you cannot switch out may be worth it if you can actually enable vicious trapping scenarios. Some Strong Jaw Pokémon like Tyrantrum and the aforementioned Drednaw may even get a new kease on life and finally taste OU.

Name: Shadow Punch

Effect: Applies Heal Block unto the target.

Potential Pokémon With This Move: :dusclops: :dusknoir: :haunter: :gengar: :golett: :golurk: :marshadow: :cofagrigus: :marowak-alola: :trevenant: :melmetal:
Justification: Shadow Punch buff! I wanted to keep mostly the same distribution as to not over step Shadow Claw, but I gave it to a few extra key users to prop them up. Shadow Punch operates as an alternative to the raw wallbreaking power of Poltergeist with a weaker but effective stallbreaking option.

Name: Octazooka / Signal Beam / Aurora Beam

Effect: Lowers Evasion / Speed / Attack of target by one stage.

Flags: Octazooka is a Pulse move as well as a Ball and Bomb move.
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :Grapploct: :Clauncher: (Octazooka) | Same Distribution (Signal Beam) | :Raikou: :Jolteon: (some Electrics, none from OU or even UU)
Justification: Buffed some moves to be analogues to Mystical Fire, and can get the same distribution flavor wise as them (as in a bunch of Fairies got Mystical Fire becaude they lost HP Fire). Just keep Aurora Beam away from really good Electrics thanks.

Name: Vengeful Vow
Power: --
Accuracy: --
PP: 5
Category: Status
Type: Fighting
Effect: If an ally fainted the previous turn, raises all of the user's stats one stage. Fails otherwise.
Priority: 0
Flags: Snatch
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :arcanine: :marowak: :marowak-alola: :banette: :gallade: :sirfetchd: (Distribution should be fairly limited)
Justification: I promise I thought of this before Yoshi posted a move with very similar flavour. An omniboost that only works when Retaliate would have its power boosted. Allows some weaker Pokémon to become tremendous sweepers.

Name: Black Hole
Power: 120
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10
Category: Special
Type: Dark
Effect: Traps the target and prevents it from switching out on turn 1, then attacks on turn 2. No charge turn while Gravity is active.
Priority: 0
Flags: Charge, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: :clefable: :starmie: :umbreon: :houndoom: :lunatone: :solrock: :dusclops: :dusknoir: :deoxys: :spiritomb: :porygon-z: :giratina: :zoroark: :beheeyem: :hydreigon: :hoopa: :minior: :guzzlord: :necrozma: :orbeetle:
Justification: Now that Gravitas exists, here's a fun new way to abuse it with special Dark-type attackers! The trapping effect also makes it a bit less easy to take advantage of than standard two-turn moves, since uh oh, you can't switch out on the charge turn anymore. Under Gravity, that makes it a 120 BP special Dark move that traps the target, which sounds bonkers, but you have a limited time to make use of it, so that helps balance things.

Name: Acrobatics
Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15
Category: Physical
Type: Flying
Effect: Doubles in base power if the user is not holding an item.
Priority: 0
Flags: Contact, Mirror, Protect
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Current distribution + :hitmonlee: :slurpuff:
Justification: Acrobatics is a really cool move, but with a max BP of 110 and the condition of not holding an item, it's rarely worth using compared to the raw power of an item-boosted Brave Bird or something. A higher BP makes it more usable before your item is consumed or lost, and makes it competitive once your item is lost thanks to a lack of drawback. Hitmonlee and Slurpuff also love it as Unburden sweepers, giving both of them strong Flying coverage to pair with their Fighting STAB and Drain Punch respectively.
Name: Hyper Cutter | Big Pecks | Berserk
Effect: Attack | Defense | Sp. Atk cannot be lowered, including self-inflicted drops. Raises the user's Attack | Defense | Sp. Atk when it falls below 50% HP due to direct damage.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current distribution + :scizor: (Hyper Cutter) :skarmory: :empoleon: :staraptor: (Big Pecks) :porygon-z: :turtonator: (Berserk)
Justification: All of these Abilities suck (though Berserk sucks marginally less), so by combining their effects they can become something better. First, the lack of self-inflicted drops is pretty niche but lets things like Pinsir and Scizor use Superpower while only dropping their Defense, while Drampa and Turtonator can spam drawback-free Draco Meteors and, in Turtonator's case, Overheats. Providing a boost when dropped below 50% HP (which stacks if you then recover to above 50% and are dropped again) is where the Ability shines for Big Pecks users, giving Skarmory another differentiating feature over Corviknight and letting Empoleon have an actual Ability.

Name: Healer
Effect: When switching out, the user cures the status condition of the incoming ally.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current distribution + :slowking-galar:
Justification: Natural Cure but slightly to the left. Galarian Slowking would get this over Curious Medicine because the flavour is similar and it has Power of Alchemy to combine with Regenerator. Lets you take care of status without the momentum drain that Aromatherapy and Heal Bell can have.

Name: Toxic Boost | Flare Boost
Effect: While poisoned | burned, the Pokémon's Attack and Defense | Sp. Atk and Sp. Def are boosted by 50%. The Pokémon takes no damage from poison | burn.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: Yes
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: Current distribution + :breloom: :seismitoad: :guzzlord: | :sunflora: :heliolisk:
Justification: Improving the Boosts. The lack of residual damage helps a lot, especially for Toxic Boost users.

Name: Status Quo
Effect: This Pokémon ignores the attacker's Ability if it would affect the success or damage of the incoming move.
Adaptability, Aerilate, Analytic, Corrosion, Dark Aura, Defeatist, Dragon's Maw, Fairy Aura, Flare Boost, Flower Gift, Galvanize, Gorilla Tactics, Guts, Huge Power, Hustle, Infiltrator, Iron Fist, Libero, Light Power, Liquid Voice, Mega Launcher, Minus, Neuroforce, Normalize, Overclock, Pixilate, Plus, Power Spot, Punk Rock, Pure Power, Reckless, Refrigerate, Rivalry, Sand Force, Scrappy, Sheer Force, Slow Start, Sniper, Solar Power, Stakeout, Steelworker, Steely Spirit, Strong Jaw, Technician, Tinted Lens, Tough Claws, Toxic Boost, Transistor, Unaware, Unseen Fist, Water Bubble
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Potential Pokémon With This Ability: :slowbro: :lapras: :shuckle: :regirock: :regice: :registeel: :lickilicky: :audino-mega: :oranguru:
Justification: Defensive Mold Breaker! Lets these Pokémon answer certain sweepers that rely on their Abilities for their damage output, like Flapple, Mega Mawile, Gourgeist, and Melmetal. Name is weird but relatively flavour-neutral, same as Mold Breaker.
Name: Warp Engine
Effect: If Trick Room activates while the holder is on the field, the holder immediately switches out. Consumed after use.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 30, confuses the target
Justification: Lets you set Trick Room and pivot to an abuser at the same time, but only once.

Name: Safety Policy
Effect: If the holder is affected by entry hazards upon switching in, its Defense and Sp. Def sharply rise, and the item is consumed.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 80, none
Justification: An alternative to Heavy-Duty Boots. Only works once, but can make certain Pokémon very difficult to break. Pokémon with Simple in particular can triple their defenses just by switching in while hazards are up, granting Pokémon like Bibarel and Swoobat an actual chance to set up in a higher-tier environment.

Name: Noisemaker
Effect: The user's sound-based moves are powered up by 30%.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 10, none
Justification: Toxtricity shouldn't be the only one that gets to spam insane sound moves. Equivalent to a Life Orb boost but without the recoil for Pokémon that'll primarily be using sound moves.
:sm/heliolisk:
Name: Heliolisk
Type: Electric / Dragon
Abilities: Dry Skin / Flare Boost / Solar Power (Hidden)
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Dragon Breath, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Morning Sun
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Flare Boost is cool, so here's another Flare Boost user. Electric / Dragon gives Heliolisk some nice resistances to switch in on and makes its secondary STAB a lot more spammable than Hyper Voice, Fire coverage makes sense since it's a Dragon now and it has the sun associations anyways, and Morning Sun provides a recovery option for it.

:sm/arctovish:
Name: Arctovish
Type: Water / Ice
Abilities: Water Absorb / Ice Scales / Slush Rush (Hidden)
New Moves: None
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Arctovish buff take 2. Ice Scales makes Arctovish incredibly bulky on the special side, since it already has a pretty decent Sp. Def, kept in balance by Water / Ice not being a great defensive type and a lack of recovery outside of Rest. This will give it a niche as a fatmon with offensive presence thanks to Fishious Rend, and also make it not the laughingstock of the Galar fossils.

:sm/klinklang:
Name: Klinklang
Type: Steel
Abilities: Overclock / Levitate / Clear Body (Hidden)
New Moves: Superpower, Lightning Lance, High Horsepower, Overheat, Spikes
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Klinklang has one of the best set-up moves in the game, but it's held back by its lack of coverage and generally useless Abilities. All of that is fixed now. Superpower and High Horsepower offer useful physical coverage alongside Gear Grind and an Electric move, while Lightning Lance is a stronger physical Electric move than Wild Charge, and Overheat can be a one-use nuke for low-Sp. Def Steels. Overheat, Superpower, and Lightning Lance are all boosted by Overclock, while Levitate negates one of its weaknesses and protects it against Spikes damage - and speaking of which, it can set Spikes now, too. On Levitate sets, run Electro Ball instead of Wild Charge, it'll hit harder after a Shift Gear and lets you murder physical counters.

resub from Two Step Mons but I may add more

Name: Rainbow Powder
Power: ---
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 32
Category: Status
Type: Fairy
Effect: Random chance to either paralyze, badly poison, or burn the target.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Powder, effected by Magic Bounce
Potential Pokémon With This Move: Fairies, Psychics, and the Grasses/Bugs that learn Poison Powder / Sleep Powder / Stun Spore
Justification: Gives you something to threaten a ton of different Pokemon. If you find the time to use this you'll eventually paralyze Heatran, can paralyze or burn Corviknight, and can deter most physical attackers in general thanks to the 33% burn even without including the paralysis or poison chances. It's impossible to control which will make it inconsistent, and there are things like Natural Cure, Magic Guard, and a part Grass-typing that will make you immune to this, but being able to scare and possibly ruin just about everything else should make this worth considering. Even if not, you gotta admit it's a fun idea that will have at least a little bit of practicality.
