get better <_____________<

no score is particularly impressive to me unless i get to see the play that got the score and it happens to be impressive

21/6 isn't even a fantastic ratio -- suggests to me you got fed but played sloppy

What is your opinion on this?

-he exaggerated a lot of things. vayne has a place and its that vayne melts tanks/bruisers faster than any other ADC (except maybe kog early-mid game, vayne late is strongest of all ADs in terms of pure dps on tanks). also snowballed vayne is disgusting and snowballs harder than most ADCs. basically his post is a mashup of how vayne is overrated and that other ADCs do the same job easier and more consistently which is true since vayne has a shaky lane phase

On another note, how's Diana postnerf? (<40% winrate aside)

i need 2 make a 'spin-rihtround' tier 4 my tierlist. starring katarina darius and garen

TL;dr :i found out kat is soo op

just look at this. OP

DAMN, I'M SO FUCKING SICK OF TOP LANE!!!!!

Just had to get that off my chest.

Honestly, top lane is the most unhealthy thing about this game right now. I'm including 0 CS support, Shaco, and Darius when I say that.

The WORST FEELING IN THE GAME, bar none, is when you autolose your lane because the other top laner is Jax or Irelia, and you're not playing Jax or Irelia. It's gotten to the point where I feel punished for picking Rumble top because it's literally impossible to win against the popular top laners.

What makes it even worse is the snowball factor. In mid or bot lane, you can at least come back from falling behind, especially in bot lane since the AD generally needs to be 4-0 to have a completely secure advantage. In top lane, ONE KILL is enough to allow the other top laner to zone you for the rest of the laning phase, with no hope of recovery without your jungler camping top until 20 minutes.

No champion should REQUIRE TWO OTHER CHAMPIONS to shut them down in the laning phase. This is ridiculous.

cho'gath requires the entire enemy team to shut him down. can't stop the legend farming and going full raid boss mode with his two aoe CCs.

op or op???????

top lane is definitely extremely volatile and i agree that one kill will turn the tides of the entire lane for the rest of the game

i remember that what most pro top laners say about the lane is that the key is just to stay alive - you WILL have to give up CS, you will have to recall frequently, and you will fall behind, but you won't fall nearly as far behind as you would have if you tried to keep aggressively getting CS and fighting the enemy laner and feeding him kills.

let him push, freeze the lane for as long as you can, take your wolf/golem camp (blue/purple side) whenever your lane is pushing, roam the map instead of hovering awkwardly in the middle of the lane when the other top laner is zoning you from XP.

rumble in particular is awkward because he can't really freeze the lane but his ganks mid are surprisingly effective and he also makes up for it by having a very strong levels 5-9 relative to other common top laners. doran's shield in particular is EXTREMELY strong against a lot of melee top laners, including jax and irelia. i recommend running full defense masteries if you aren't already, especially against these champions.

I was playing an earlier build of her on the PBE and before she recieved reductions to some of the numbers she felt really OP. I think her kit is AWESOME though, she's a lot of fun to play. Feels really satisfying to fly through a teamfight straight to the adc, knocking everyone out of the way and just slamming them facefirst into the pavement. AND she does a ton of damage. She's gonna be one of those champs people cry about I think.

Vi is kinda like Riven though IMO, fun the first few times because you know, Falcon Punch, but gets stale if you play her like 3/4 games in a row because there's no real special mechanics with her. It's just charge in, punch stuff, profit. Whereas a champ like Lee Sin or Cho'Gath you can probably play hundreds of games with them and only them and still enjoy them.

BANKPLANK_zps6593afd8.png

i am not one to post PICTURES
but gotta show some BANKPLANK GET DA MONEY ACTION

other team went 4 mid while i went top vs lee sin. this game was really heavy. but i was rich so everything was ok.

look i didnt ask questions

obviously their metagame was light years beyond the current one

he kept stealing our red buff. he did it like 3 times.

(tbh i dont know how the other team happened at all, i was DUOing with Speedvore and it seems to even think of that strategy you would be a 5man premade. but whatever blind pick normals l0l)

So, I've been wondering about this for a while, but I finally decided to post it now that I don't have to worry about unexpectedly hitting my 1k.

What kind of skill difference do you need to beat someone playing a strong champion with a weaker champion (assuming no jungle interference, etc)?

The only reason I'm wondering this is because I don't enjoy playing any of the flavor of the month champions. I don't like picking Jax, Irelia, or Olaf for top lane every game (in fact, I don't own them), I don't like picking Katarina or a Katarina counter every time I play mid lane just to not lose in champion select, and I don't like losing bot lane every ranked game because the opposing AD carry is Ezreal and I am...not Ezreal.

So, if I'm playing someone slightly underpowered, like Kennen, who deals fine damage and has TONS OF UTILITY (tm) but is squishy and has to dive into the middle of a team to do anything, how much better to I have to be to beat that Katarina who gets free ability resets if ANYBODY dies, is deceptively tanky, and gets free damage reduction to win trades.

Or what about top lane, where the holy quadrangle of Irelia, Jax, Olaf, and Darius have shut out all other tops from regular use in competitive play. Is it really possible for me as Rumble or Renekton to beat somebody with equal skill as one of them?

I don't know, I just feel like League has fallen into the rut of:

-top lane: Irelia/Darius/Jax/Olaf
-mid lane: Katarina OR Katarina counter
-bot lane: Ezreal+any support OR Graves+Taric/Leona
-Jungle: Tanky support junglers

Since I don't play ANY of those champions (I just bought Katarina to hop on the FREELO TRAIN CHOOOOOO CHOOOOOOO), I'm getting frustrated with this game. Why should I have to buy EVERY ONE of the overpowered champions just to not lose at champion select? There must be a better solution to balance then creating a meta of "pick these champions or lose at champion select". Or, we could just nerf everyone who counters that meta (DIANA).

Is there any hope for non FoTM picks in Season 3? Unfortunately, the answer looks like no.

(sorry for rambling, I'm just frustrated right now)
