Outside the evolution families which have Mega Evolution are there any evolution lines not present in XY Pokedex but added in LZA?

No, all Pokémon in Legends ZA were in the regional XY dex or have been added in due to getting a Mega evolution

The Kalos Dex I believe remains unmatched for the largest regional Dex, but, yeah, stuff that wasn't obtainable in XY before Bank (like Snorunt or Tynamo) got in for Mega-related purposes.

From the first 5 gens Meowth as you say, Mankey, Feebas, Munna, Yamask, the swords of justice, keldeo, meloetta, genesect. Gen 7 has a few non-mega additions with Sandygast, Mimikyu, Marshadow and Meltan. And plenty of gen 8 & 9 Pokemmon without megas as well.

I always felt the Swords should have been postponed to XY to be Kalos's legendary trio, instead of Unova having two and Kalos having none. Their lore would still fit, even.
