Yes. xP It's what I use to get Synchs, as the other trait, Trace, is a blatant "faint me" indicator.
A few days for my Nidoran M chain, plugged in and charging when at home, playing or not.
Notorious - I never play with sound, that Pokeradar music would probably have done irreparable damage to my brain after hundreds of hours of chaining.
Icy J - Very nice, report back the IV's when you're done.
The Lost One - Use Serebii or something for stuff like that. Also KB has an adamant one I'd trade you (when I get it from him)
Ryouu - Really depends a lot. I generally have mine on for days at a time, but the chains don't take me that long.

Annoyingly my chain ended after the 4 shiny phanpys because I again wasn't paying attention and walked directly up after a radar reset... And the natures I got were complete crap, making it pretty pointless checking IVs. I'm just breeding some ralts for their synch. Looking for a modest and adamant one.
Depends...My eevee chain was over the course of 3 days I believe and I almost went insane from the mad hours I spent playing those days

SHIT! Thats scary in an amazing sort of way...I hope you get some good ones because that just deserves to net you a bunch of trades for thinking of that combo...How many heal balls do you have?
Here's the best of my Shiny Modest Swablu in a luxury balls.
Now, I got a bunch of them with 31 in speed or sp.atk, and then a 29+ speed or sp.atk. But the rest of their defenses sucked, and I really prefer a verison with good defensive ivs because swablu has amazing defenses, which make her good to play for her ability to switch in easy..

Anyway, I'm stoked about #7, it's easily another trophy case, and I have a great ev spread for it. The hp fighting one I'm very excited for too.
Anyway, I have a bunch of modest/timid/jolly/ other nature ones I didn't check yet. It be pretty cool to get an amazing timid/jolly one..

Considering Sandslash is my favourite pokemon it would almost be a crime for me not to reccommend that. DO IT!
Jolly. That way it can outspeed most UU pokes. Also do you by any chance have a spare Jolly syncher? My ralts are being bitches and now I only need quiet, jolly and lax, with Jolly being the only major one I need.
EDIT: When I say 'most UU pokes' what i really mean is 'most UU threats to it'...
Doesn't the dusk ball just look awesome with shiny gloom? I've got some heal balls too, but I'll when I see some shinies I'll use dusk first. In total I have about 50 balls all together. PS: I keep breaking my chains in the 30's, so how much of a difference in shiny occurences would I get if I started resetting the radar at 30 instead of 40?
Good luck my friend, I've been chaining them for 5'ish days and only gotten 2 shinies in total. Only one of which can even be used personally. Anyhow, what nature you going for?
That's exactly how I felt after just a few hours...you guys are intense!
I think I'm going to try Noctowl for real this time. I've attempted to chain them a couple times already, but broke the chains in the mid 20s though I did manage to get a sucky early shiny at a chain of 4 before.
