You don't, check if you have beat all the ghosts again. To get the Aero Glider you have to get all stars in the 150CC Retro Cups, try that first?

okay then, fine. I've double checked and triple checked (even went as far as to accidentally beat an expert staff ghost) but I'll check once more ;_;

Edit: Yes surgo, I have. I'll try it again though as soon as my sister is done playing the wii.

Edit: Turns out I had one left to go, GCN Mario Circuit. Yay I have all the characters :)
 
For the stuff you get for unlocking expert ghosts, you have to either reset the game or go all the way back to the first screen (where you are told to press A) and go back in. You've done that, right?
 
Blargh blargh blargh after a lot of time trialling, I managed to get 1:02:879 and couldn't for the life of me top that

That is indeed 12 fucking milliseconds slower than Andeby's time ;_; God damn it, good fucking game but next round I will get some points damnit
 
I have, he powerslide boosts right at the start and rises into the air slightly and lands into a wheelie ?_? I couldn't replicate it
 
charge a powerslide off of the zipper. right before hitting the waterfall pop a wheelie at the correct angle. RIGHT before you get out of the watefall break out of your wheelie by sliding. charge a power slide and then wheelie towards the zipper.
 
Is the correct angle going slightly down so as to go with the flow of the waterfall more rather than fight it?

Also for reference I've been doing this:

charge powerslide as I hit the zipper, let it go asap (usually at the start of the waterfall, sometimes further in) then wheelie for a tiny bit, then leave the waterfall charging another powerslide that takes me to the next zipper.

I'm not sure how much difference it can make but this is generally where I lose time I know because when I raced the WR I could keep up with it to the waterfall but then it just shot off ahead.

edit: Just fyi there is an hour ten minutes left of this round, also I'll edit in existing records for SNES ghost valley 2 when I get back from school tommorow. Until then post them here, because there is no sense waiting for 12:00 as there was already prior notice of the designated course and I don't reckon anyone else will be setting many new YF times.
 
Finally got used to the bikes on this game, albeit not to long trying, just aiming to get myself two stars next to my name and I'll be good, Alas was racing against a 3 star 9.9+k racer today....

I got whupped all the time, apart from the last one before they left...
 
Actually thats a question I've been wondering answer to for a while - what affectsd overall rank exactly?

Atm mine is A, is it grand prixs? Time trials? Online Ranking?

Anyway Ill edit the OP now and iirc my time is 0:56:710, and I think Oma had something like 0:56:055 but I wont edit his in incase he doesnt want me to yet.

edit: I thought xx was for when something is irrelevsnt, but ms aren't here? If it's just because you cant remember it Ill make it 0:58:399 until you do

Alright, I'll try to improve that now. >.> Check alvinvanassalt's (not his) youtube account for BK3 from SC. A new shortcut.
 
Online ranking is purely based on online races.

The stars are from getting at least a star in every race, I think this is what also affects overall rank, albeit I may be wrong based on TT's ranking...

Could you link to it? I don't know how to search users on youtube. Oh, and your time on the MKC is 0:58:4 something or other, I edited it into the OP

Also Ghandi what do you mean by "getting at least a star in every race"? Grand prixs I assume?

(also I just cut down to 0:56:328)


Finally, I still can't see ctrainer or steeler on the mario kart channel. Unles one of you is "brutus"?
