Movepool Changes - Rage Powder, String Shot
Competitive Corner - So, I called "dibs" on Honey Gather Ribombee as a joke on the discord. But this got me thinking, Rimbobee's access to Quiver Dance but in turn a typing mostly walled by Steels probably would allow me to minmax its stats, give it a useless ability, and it would be kinda balanced!? Most teams should already be packing a Steel-type or at least a Fire-type, so checking this wouldn't be too hard. However, most Steel-types do not have reliable recovery, so Ribombee plays off this attrition game of waiting for the Steel-types to be worn down so that it can feast on the opposing team with +1 Moonblasts and Psychic Noises. Outside of Quiver Dance, you can also use Sticky Web on forced switches, and while +1 Ribombee is already outspeeding pretty much everything without webs, it could be useful for its teammates on a likely more offensive team. Stun Spore is also an option and could help give Ribombee set up opportunities if your back is against the wall. Alternatively you could go for Pollen Puff for a more immediate hit on Psychic- and Grass-types or Draining Kiss to put it out of priority range? So many options here! However, I was thinking about Ribombee's doubles role too, and I realized this new speed could allow it to play an interesting support role! It already has Pollen Puff as a Heal Pulse upgrade (which does hit pretty hard off of 150 Special Attack). Giving it String Shot for an unique speed control move and Rage Powder for redirection also helps its offensive-support niche I was going for, but I think having it have Friend Guard as an ability, which retains the aspect I wanted from Honey Gather of being useless in singles, is the final piece of the puzzle for support Ribombee! Ogerpon really showed how interesting this offensive support niche can be, and I think Mega Ribombee can do something similar!
Flavor Corner - The only change is String Shot — which is justified by the fact that many Bug-types can get it regardless of not being really spiders and able to generate silk like a spider would — and Rage Powder, which is a common option many Bug-types get and would be especially fitting for a Pokémon that collects pollen, as so many people are allergic to it. Lastly, Friend Guard may seem counterintuitive on a Pokémon inspired by a parasite like the bee fly, however, it seems like Game Freak's rendition of these creatures was much more jovial, and Ribombee in particular seems inspired on a cheerleader, so, I feel like Friend Guard makes sense as an ability unless Mega Ribombee's ally is a Vespiqueen or a Combee. Other than that, Ribombee just has all the tools it needs to accurately represent its flavor I wanted it to have

Movepool Changes - Rock Wrecker
Competitive Corner - Originally, I just wanted to keep regular Rocky Payload Bombirdier, to keep true to its original design, but most Bombirdier sets with the current ability still prefer the power and reliability of Brave Bird, Knock Off, and Sucker Punch, over the flimsy accuracy of Rock Slide and Stone Edge. Not to mention, with the current power a creep, a single +100 BST wouldn't be enough to catapult Mega Bombirdier out of irrelevance, I think, so giving it an ability that's a bit more special felt justified. This is where Rocky Barrage comes in! Now Stone Edge hits harder than Brave Bird. It's like if it had Adaptability + STAB on only its Rock-type moves. This makes for a very unique effect of where it's main STAB is not actually one of its types, so while Ground-types for instance would generally appreciate coming into Rock-types and scaring it out with Earthquake after, well, with Mega Bombirdier you can't quite do that! I think having an attacker whose main attacking moves are off-type should lead to interesting avenues in building and metagame development. Mega Bombirdier is also encouraged to use Hone Claws to keep the accuracy of its Rock-type moves in check, or it can go for the "fuck it we ball" approach, and just hope it hits!
Flavor Corner - It's just Bombirdier but moar... Also barring SpA, all stats are multiples of 7 :)

Movepool Changes - Draining Kiss
Competitive Corner - In singles, Mega Fezandipiti leverages Dazzling and great speed to propel the viability of its usual Calm Mind set. With a typing immune to Toxic, and Dazzling protecting you from priority revenge KOing. Fezandipiti does miss out on the chance of Toxic Chain putting a timer on things so that it can win Calm Mind wars, but you still have manual Toxic and Taunt at your disposal! Either one should be easy to slot into a Calm Mind set, as Fairy coverage alone can get you very far! And the high speed makes Fezandipiti a lot tougher to deal with for offensive teams. But where this Mega really shines is VGC. I've always thought Fezandipiti was a very doubles-oriented design, with access to Tailwind and weaker moves like Icy Wind — which also act as speed control — and Acid Spray now having a chance to poison or a boost in power. Dazzling takes that to the next level, on top of providing support for an ally, Fezandipiti is completely immune to Fake Out and Prankster Taunt, so it can act as our format's best Tailwind user, at the cost of a Mega slot. If i understood correctly neither Whimsicott nor Tornadus will be in (unless Whimsicott gets slated, that is). So I believe Mega Fezandipiti has the fastest Tailwind in the format outside of Roaring Moon, which does NOT want to stay in against it. Mega Fezandipiti can also provide fast Acid Spray support, again, without fear of Fake Out. And Poison Gas or Toxic could be run instead of Protect to give some useful chip damage!
Flavor Corner - The stats maximimize the number of "8"s assuming no stat drops on Mega Evolution. Be that 8 as a digit in the number itself, or a number being multiple of 8. Dazzling is fitting for Fezandipiti, as a colorful flamboyant Pokémon like Bruxish is.
