Pet Mod Micrometa Mafia: A Clean Slate Spinoff (Slate 5: Setup Sweeper, Stallbreaker, Choice Scarf User, Priority User)

magneton.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Magneton (no eviolite)
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Electric Terrain Setter
Type:
Electric.png
Steel.png

Abilities: Levitate / Electric Surge
Stat Distribution: 50/60/95/110/70/110 (BST: 495)
Movepool Additions: Air Slash
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Magneton relies on its two great abilities in Levitate and Electric Surge to function as a pivot. Levitate removes its biggest weakness to Ground type moves, while Electric Surge amplifies its Volt Switches to deal big damage before switching out. It's main weakness is in its lack of coverage outside of the newly added Air Slash. It currently struggles against the two existing pokemon (especially ESurge vs Gastrodon)

inteleon.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Inteleon
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs
Type:
Water.png
Ice.png

Abilities: Torrent / Skill Link / Sniper
Stat Distribution: 65/95/75/100/75/125 (BST: 535)
Movepool Additions: -
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: The sinful lizard is here! Inteleon functions as a fast offensive pivot and a special wallbreaker. Inteleon uses Sniper booster Snipe Shot to do big damage to the opponents it faces. It can use U-Turn to pivot out, and it is also a good user of Choice Specs. It somewhat struggles to defeat Gastrodon, due to it having Water Absorb block one of its STABs, and its frailty could lead to it taking big Steel damage from Klefki if it fails to KO.

amoonguss.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Amoonguss
Roles: Defensive Pivot
Type:
Grass.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Effect Spore / Regenerator
Stat Distribution: 115/110/80/100/80/50 (BST: 535)
Movepool Additions: Shell Side Arm
Movepool Removals: Foul Play
Justification: hahaahahahah among us ahahahahahah. Amoonguss plays pretty similarly to its standard version, which is to put an opponent to sleep before switching out safely thanks to Regenerator. It is hard walled by Klefki, but it does have a great matchup against Gastrodon thanks to its 4x weakness to Grass, allowing you to get a free Spore on the switch after expecting a Grass type move.

swoobat.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Swoobat
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Hazard Control (Defog), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Type:
Flying.png
Ice.png

Abilities: Rock Eater* / Klutz / Fluffy
Stat Distribution: 80/63/115/113/85/94 (BST: 550)
Movepool Additions: Ice Beam, Stealth Rock
Movepool Removals: Heat Wave, Calm Mind, Nasty Plot
Custom Elements: Rock Eater- When hit by a Rock type attack (not Stealth Rock), heals 1/4 Max HP. (Water/Volt Absorb Clone)
Justification: While a Flying/Ice type would be horrible as a defensive pivot, thanks to Rock Eater, it removes its only 4x weakness to Rock. Swoobat is able to pivot with its decent speed tier, and is able to set up Stealth Rock or remove hazards with Defog. Fluffy could be used as a backup option, and while it does not block against strong Rock type options like Stone Edge, it will put the opponent into a guessing game of whether Swoobat has Rock Eater or not. Unfortunately, it still needs to run Heavy Duty Boots, as Rock Eater does not provide immunity to Stealth Rock.

edit 4: removed Scorching Sands from Magneton, added Air Slash. removed Frost Breath from Inteleon

Offensive Pivots
:bw/staraptor:
Name of the Pokemon: Staraptor
Role(s): Offensive Pivot (U-Turn), Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Control (Defog)

Type: Fighting/Flying
Abilities: Intimidate / Reckless
Stat Distribution: 85/110/80/50/70/90 (480 BST)

Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Body Press, Knock Off
Movepool Removals: None

Justification: Staraptor loses an unsexy 10 off its Attack and Speed but gains bulk, a better typing, and new movepool options in Bulk Up and Knock Off. It already has Fighting STAB in the form of Close Combat and still gains a Reckless boost with Brave Bird if it wants to go more offensive, but now has added coverage and utility in the form of Knock Off that helps it against Ghost and Psychic types. Still gets Roost too, so it can heal off recoil and Defog so it can Defog. Body Press is here because I think it's funny. Could potentially run a Bulk Up or Choice Scarf/Band set or some shit idk

:bw/Shaymin-sky:
Name of the Pokemon: Shaymin-Sky
Role(s): Offensive Pivot (U-Turn), Special Sweeper, Cleric (Aromatherapy & Healing Wish)

Type: Grass/Dragon
Abilities: Chlorophyll
Stat Distribution: 90/63/75/120/75/117 (540 BST)

Movepool Additions: Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, U-Turn
Movepool Removals: Seed Flare

Justification: Nothing fancy going on here, just a fast, hard hitting offensive pivot with some cleric tools as an added bonus. It gets some good coverage with Earth Power and Dazzling Gleam, which sorta makes up for its average STAB combo. Seed Flare is, of course, an incredibly inconsistent move that has been removed, but it still gets Leaf Storm and Energy Ball as alternatives which is nice. Access to Aromatherapy and Healing Wish is pretty swag for it too. If sun ever gets added then it can go for a Chlorophyll + Solar Beam kinda thing, but rn Chlorophyll is basically just a filler ability. 4x Ice weakness and a weakness to Fairy, Bug, and Flying are pretty unappealing though, especially with its middling bulk

Defensive Pivots
:bw/mismagius:
Name of the Pokemon: Mismagius
Role(s): Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Hazard Stacker (Toxic Spikes), Mixed Wall, Utility, Special Sweeper

Type: Ghost
Abilities: Intimidate
Stat Distribution: 90/60/105/105/105/60 (525 BST)

Movepool Additions: Toxic Spikes, Teleport
Movepool Removals: None

Justification: Mismagius gains a buff to its bulk and neat new utility options in Toxic Spikes and Teleport. Its already got some nifty coverage between Dazzling Gleam, Mystical Fire, Power Gem and Thunderbolt, and access to Nasty Plot if it wants to go offensive. Alternatively, with Memento, Heal Bell, and Taunt it can act as a decent support mon, and if you're feeling spicy there's also Perish Song

:bw/cresselia:
Name of the Pokemon: Cresselia
Role(s): Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Cleric (Wish & Lunar Dance), Special Tank

Type: Psychic
Abilities: Levitate
Stat Distribution: 120/70/80/70/100/45 (485 BST)

Movepool Additions: Wish
Movepool Removals: Future Sight

Justification: Ok so here's our first stall Pokemon. Slow as fuck and passive as hell, but 120 HP is excellent and 80/100 bulk on top of that is also pretty nice. A pure Psychic typing isn't all that nice for defensive purposes though, leaving it weak to U-Turn and Knock Off which already hit its weaker Defence. Cresselia can pass fat Wishes and slow pivot out with Teleport, the classic tactical procedure, and it also gets Future Sight on top of that but FSight off base 70 SpAtt is pretty laughable. Levitate allows it to bypass Spikes and TSpikes for added longevity, which helps with its pivoting duties. The main draw here is Lunar Dance, as its ability to restore the PP of its switch-in gives Cresselia's team the edge in stall. Other options include Reflect + Light Screen for dual screens setting, Toxic because Toxic, Trick Room because its hella bulky and can pass Lunar Dance to a teammate, and Trick if you're a complete bastard and want to run Choice Scarf Trick

Pokemon: Latios
Competitive Role: Offensive Pivot, Hazard Removal (Defog), Setup Sweeper
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Abilities: Levitate
Stats: 85/100/80/105/80/110 (Total: 560)
Movepool Additions: Brick Break, Drain Punch, Superpower, Seismic Toss, U-Turn
Movepool Removals: Draco Meteor, Outrage, Earthquake, Light Screen, Reflect, Magic Coat, Mystical Fire, Future Sight
Justification: He's a fighter jet now. I equalized its offensive stats and gave it a good amount of Fighting moves, and it gets U-Turn now, so it can throw out a Superpower before pivoting away. You've also got some solid support options to add to your sets (Trick, TWave, Defog), and setup (Calm Mind, Dragon Dance, Hone Claws) for the late game. Klefki can pretty handily take it on though.

Pokemon: Perrserker
Competitive Role: Offensive Pivot, Priority User, Wallbreaker
Type: Dark/Normal
Abilities: Battle Armor/Tough Claws
Stats: 80/105/100/50/70/95 (Total: 500)
Movepool Additions: Sucker Punch, Knock Off
Movepool Removals: Seed Bomb
Justification: Perrserker is here with a few changes (for the better). While it drops the Steel typing and Steelworker, it retains Tough Claws to boost its contact moves, and with a buff to a good amount of its stats, it will be doing a solid chunk of damage to anything it hits. The addition of the Normal typing gives it a meaty Double Edge, and it can run a solid Band or Scarf set as a result. Sucker Punch is also added to its kit to help with the Band set. It can even set up with a Swords Dance for extra breaking potential. All in all, a simple pivot and breaker mon that puts pressure onto the opponent.

Pokemon: Florges
Competitive Role: Defensive Pivot, Special Wall, Cleric, Stallbreaker
Type: Fairy/Grass
Abilities: Natural Cure/Flower Veil/Symbiosis
Stats: 78/55/78/112/155/75 (Total: 552)
Movepool Additions: Mystical Fire, Whirlwind
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: I like Florges, so I'll probably just keep subbing it in any spot it can potentially fit until it wins. Wish allows you to be a lot more aggressive with your hard switching, so you can preserve your momentum, and that's what allows it to serve a "pivotal" role on teams.

Pokemon: Kyurem
Competitive Role: Defensive Pivot, Unaware Wall
Type: Dragon/Ice
Abilities: Pressure/Unaware
Stats: 125/70/85/95/85/60 (Total: 520)
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Icicle Crash
Movepool Removals: Focus Blast, Earth Power, Dragon Dance
Justification: Kyurem is fat and does not care about your problems. While it does have some notable (type) weaknesses, it's rather bulky, and with Unaware, not even setup can bother it. It can also force the foe out with Dragon Tail and set up screens. Your best odds are to status it or to hit it with SE damage, but the addition of Flip Turn keeps it from being a sitting duck for incoming threats.

:bw/beheeyem:
Name of the Pokemon: Beheeyem
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Special Wall, TR Setter
Type: Psychic
Abilities: Analytic / Synchronize / Regenerator (HA)
Stat Distribution: 95/80/80/110/120/30 (515)
Movepool Additions: -
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Beheeyem serves as a slow Teleport user. It is similar to Slowking in SSOU, but it lacks the Water. Other than that, it plays really similar to it. Tank a hit, use Future Sight or heal and then use Teleport. Regenerator keeps it healthy throughout the game, so it doesn't have to rely on Recover to be in a good shape.

:xy/pangoro:
Name of the Pokemon: Pangoro
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Type: Dark/Fighting
Abilities: Thick Fat / Intimidate / Mold Breaker (HA)
Stat Distribution: 115/104/93/69/76/43 (500)
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Spikes
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Pangoro's defensive typing isn't amazing, but it has some key resistences in Dark, Ghost and Rock, which is really nice for SR, and with Thick Fat, it becomes resistant to Ice and Fire as well. Its bulk is really good and it has Slack Off to be healthy and Intimidate can allow for more opputurnities to switch in. Parting Shot is the switch move, which also has great utility with the stat drops.

:ss/dracozolt:
Name of the Pokemon: Dracozolt
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker
Type: Electric/Dragon
Abilities: Analytic / Volt Absorb (HA)
Stat Distribution: 90/90/90/80/70/85 (505)
Movepool Additions: U-turn
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Dracozolt is a scary Wallbreaker with its Bolt Beak, which gets a boost either way thanks to Analytic. Its coverage is also decent. It struggles against Ground-types, but other than that it melts stuff with its Bolt Beak + Dragon Claw/Outrage combination, which gets better with Earthquake. U-turn keeps momentum against Pokemon that can absorb its hits.

:dp/palkia:
Name of the Pokemon: Palkia
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Mixed Wallbreaker
Type: Water/Dragon
Abilities: Pressure / Torrent (HA)
Stat Distribution: 100/110/85/120/85/100 (600)
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Life Dew
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Palkia has an amazing offensive and defensive typing. The few types that can resists its STABs, struggle against Fire Blast and Thunder. Flip Turn, helps it to keep momentum and with its mixed offensive sets, it becomes quite unpredictable, with many great options on both sides.

:swsh/noivern:
Name of the Pokemon: Noivern
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker
Type: Flying/Dragon
Abilities: Frisk/Infiltrator/Telepathy
Stat Distribution: 85/70/80/107/80/123 (545)
Movepool Additions: -
Movepool Removals
: -
Justification: Noivern's great Speed tier and high BP STABs allow it to threaten Pokemon before pivoting. Additionally, Roost helps keeping it healthy throughout a game, and Flamethrower helps dealing with Klefki.

:bw/azelf:
Name of the Pokemon: Azelf
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Dual Screens, Suicide Lead, Mixed Wallbreaker
Type: Psychic
Abilities: Levitate
Stat Distribution: 75/115/70/115/70/115 (560)
Movepool Additions: -
Movepool Removals: - Nasty Plot
Justification: Azelf is a pretty fast Pokemon with good mixed offenses and great coverage, allowing it to threaten a lot and either pivot out or use utility moves such as Stealth Rock. However, it's mediocre defenses and awful defensive typing make it easyly beaten by faster Pokemon or Choice Scarf Pokemon. It also provides a lot of utility, including Stealth Rock and Knock Off, but also Taunt and dual screens for a suicide lead set.

:bw/tangela: (Eviolite compatible)
Name of the Pokemon: Tangela
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall
Type: Grass
Abilities: Chlorophyll/Leaf Guard/Regenerator
Stat Distribution: 65/55/95/100/30/60 (405)
Movepool Additions: Strength Sap
Movepool Removals: Toxic
Justification: Tangela is a very physically bulky Pokemon and Regenerator keeps it healthy throughout the game. Strength Sap is a great recovery option, but fortunately it doesn't cripple specially offensive Pokemon that beat this pretty easily. Additionally, it's pretty passive. Though, it makes up a pretty good core with Gastrodon.

:bw/eelektross:
Name of the Pokemon: Eelektross
Role(s): Defensive Pivot
Type: Electric
Abilities: Regenator
Stat Distribution: 85/80/115/105/80/50 (515)
Movepool Additions: -
Movepool Removals: -
Justification: Eelektross is a bulky pokemon with good longevity thanks to Regen, decent offensive presence thanks to it's coverage, and a slow Volt Switch. Could probably run an AV set.

:ss/regice: Defensive Pivot #1
Name of the Pokemon: Regice
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Special Wall, Hazard Control
Type: Ice/Ghost
Abilities: Magic Guard / Magic Bounce
Stat Distribution: 100/50/100/110/160/30 (550)
Movepool Additions: Recover, Teleport, Hex, Shadow Ball, Destiny Bond
Justification: Regice is a solid pivot... in Gen 3 metas. I thought bringing it back would be pretty cool. Regice's Ice/Ghost defensive type is bad, even with Fighting and Normal immunities and a Poison resist, it's still an Ice-type. However, its movepool, abilities and stats are top notch for its role. Boots+Magic Bounce and Lefties+Magic Guard are both solid in their own way. MBounce lets you switch into Status moves to gain momentum, but leaves you super vulnerable to Knock Off. Regice's bulk may seem far above Klefki and Gastrodon, but unlike Regice, those two have amazing defensive types.

:ss/regigigas: Defensive Pivot #2
Name of the Pokemon: Regigigas
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Mixed Wall, Hazard Setter (SR)
Type: Normal/Grass
Abilities: Grassy Surge / Rough Skin
Stat Distribution: 110/110/130/60/90/50 (550)
Movepool Additions: Recover, Nuzzle, Explosion, Stealth Rock, Horn Leech, Drum Beating, Leaf Blade
Justification: Regigigas is an unconventional defensive pivot. With Rough Skin+Rocky Helmet, it can switch into Physical contact moves, and take some damage while the foe takes chip damage. Because of Recover, this forces physical mons to switch out and lose momentum. With Grassy Surge, Regigigas can act like AV Tapu Bulu (another unconventional defensive pivot), healing teammates and itself. This also pairs well with Horn Leech and Drain Punch. Unlike Bulu, it doesn't have Wood Hammer, but it has Drum Beating to allow teammates to outspeed the foe. With Nuzzle, Regigigas can deal minor damage and spread paralysis, relying on luck to bring teammates in safely (also works with AV). If Regigigas is low on HP, Explosion is also an option that brings a teammate in safely, but you die in the process. Lastly, Regigigas can threaten foes with Knock Off.

:ss/regieleki: Offensive Pivot #1
Name of the Pokemon: Regieleki
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control, Choice Specs
Type: Electric/Fighting
Abilities: Natural Cure / Levitate
Stat Distribution: 50/50/100/80/110/160 (550)
Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere
Movepool Removals: Thunder Cage
Justification: A version of Regieleki that doesn't hit nearly as hard as its official counterpart and can't trap, but has a great secondary STAB and much better survivability, for switching into more moves. Fighting type+Levitate makes it resist all kinds of hazards and switch into Ground-types, while Natural Cure lets it switch into status-spreaders (and maybe even run Rest). Its unparalleled Speed tier will make it a solid offensive pivot despite the heavy nerf in firepower.

:ss/regidrago: Offensive Pivot #2
Name of the Pokemon: Regidrago
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Defensive Pivot, Choice Band, Set-Up Sweeper
Type: Dragon/Water
Abilities: Stall / Dragon's Maw
Stat Distribution: 160/110/50/80/50/100 (550)
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Dragon Hammer, Beak Blast
Movepool Removals: Outrage, Hammer Arm
Justification: Regidrago offers momentum to the team with STAB Flip Turn and a constant threat of powerful Maw-boosted STAB Dragon Hammers. Stall lets you run a Defensive Pivot set with Flip Turn as well, since it is a FAT mon, although that is definitely more niche. Beak Blast would also be used in a Defensive Pivot set presumably. Lastly, access to Dragon Dance means you could also run a Set-up Sweeper set, but no Water STAB for that. Klefki and Gastrodon keep Regidrago in check, as together, they are immune to literally everything Regidrago can do.

:ss/dustox:
Name of the Pokemon: Dustox
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Type: Poison/Flying
Abilities: Shield Dust / --- / Forewarn
Stat Distribution: 90/70/80/70/120/90 (520)
Movepool Additions: Taunt
Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance
Justification:
This is mostly meant to add to the first two Pokemon with something that has a less optimized typing than those and a different set of weaknesses. You're weak to stuff that is all either taken resisted or neutrally across Gastrodon and Klefki, and you resist two of the combined three weaknesses of the two other Pokemon. This also gives you another method of hazard removal, and one that definitely beats Gastrodon at that. I just want whatever coverage is run to be diverse, and having nothing clearly be at the top for now is a good way to go about that until we have some defined breakers to go off of imo.

:ss/audino:
Name of the Pokemon: Audino
Role(s): Defensive Pivot
Type:
Normal
Abilities: Healer / Klutz / Intimidate
Stat Distribution:
80/70/130/90/70/70 (510)
Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Spikes, Roar, Teleport
Movepool Removals: Wish
Justification: This is one I'm not sure about the balance with and would like second opinions with. Here's a defensive pivot that's kind of a stat stick, but it does provide useful utility in its hazards and the ability to blanket check a boatload of stuff at once and keep itself from being too passive with phasing, Knock Off, and the ability to Teleport out to something faster. It also has a lot of options for just a whatever attacking move if it wants to target something specific, which is a nice perk but ultimately not needed. I honestly didn't really know what I wanted to do with myself here, I made this after making Dustox and wanted to keep the types diverse, but really didn't know how to go about it. Adding something that's actually weak to Fighting can't hurt though, and neither can adding something that is immune to the otherwise spammable Ghost.

:ss/houndoom:
Name of the Pokemon: Houndoom
Role(s): Offensive Pivot
Type:
Fire
Abilities: Suction Cups / Early Bird / Unnerve
Stat Distribution:
75/60/70/130/80/105 (530)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn
Movepool Removals: Nasty Plot
Justification: Kind of a weird one given its typing, but this is basically a slightly boosted Houndoom minus one of its types and plus the ability to pivot with U-Turn on bad matchups. It beats Klefki and loses to Gastrodon, doesn't do great against Dustox but does decently against Audino even if neither of those latter two matchups are entirely set in stone. Suction Cups is fun for keeping it from just mindlessly being phazed out of hazards, with my current stuff we'd have two things that could do that to it.

:ss/vileplume:
Name of the Pokemon: Vileplume
Role(s): Offensive Pivot,
Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Type: Grass
Abilities: Poison Point / Effect Spore / Defiant
Stat Distribution: 90/120/110/70/80/70 (540)
Movepool Additions: Power Whip, Gunk Shot, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Flip Turn, Spikes
Movepool Removals: Sleep Powder, Strength Sap, Synthesis, Moonlight, Swords Dance
Justification: Beats Gastrodon and Audino, loses to Klefki and Dustox, and gives the meta a bulky Spikes-setting pivot. I spent a lot of time doing this while also trying to rush myself at the same time so I really don't feel like saying much more here.

:swsh/goodra:
Name of the Pokemon: Goodra
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter
Type: Dragon/Poison
Abilities: Sticky Hold/Regenerator/(HA: Gooey)
Stat Distribution: 90/60/70/110/90/60 (BST: 480)
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Toxic Spikes
Movepool Removals: Power Whip, Flamethrower
Justifications: Very thick Pokemon with Regenerator and immune to Toxic, one of Regen mons biggest threats. Can set up TSpikes and also hits pretty hard with 110 SPA and BoltBeam coverage. However, it so far doesn't enjoy the current meta, getting walled by special defense Gastro and not being able to do much to Klefki outside of the 85% accurate Fire Blast, and it doesn't have any recovery outside of Regenerator.

:swsh/drifblim:
Name of the Pokemon: Drifblim
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control, Offensive Threat, Scarf User
Type: Fire/Flying
Abilities: Aftermath/Flame Body/(HA: Magic Guard)
Stat Distribution: 120/60/80/110/70/100 (BST: 540)
Movepool Additions: Mystical Fire, Flamethrower, Volt Switch
Movepool Removals: Icy Wind, Strength Sap
Justifications: Offensive Magic Guard? Heck yeah!!! Magic Guard protects this quad weak Pokemon from those lil pebbles that get everywhere instead of having to wear those booties all the time. It has a pretty good speed tier allowing it to use Choice Scarf, or Life Orb sets to deal lots of damage. But it also doesn't like Gastrodon, and not having good Flying STAB really hurts it.

:swsh/snom:
Name of the Pokemon: Snom (eviolite compatable)
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Special Wall
Type: Steel/Bug
Abilities: Shield Dust/(HA: Ice Scales)
Stat Distribution: 110/25/55/85/10/20 (BST: 315)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Flash Cannon, Wish,
Movepool Removals: Powder Snow, Icy Wind
Justification: Snom is back!!! With a new defensive typing that’s only weak to Fire and allowing it to be neutral to Stealth Rocks, it’s rocking Ice Scales and eviolite, which make it a special wall even with only 10 base special defense. It can also use a very slow U-Turn to WishTurn a bit, or just use wish as it’s own recovery. It also has a bit more of an offensive presence this time, being able to help chip things down.

:bw/musharna:
Name of the Pokemon: Musharna
Roles: Defensive Pivot, Status Spreader
Type: Fairy/Ghost
Abilities: Forewarn/(HA: Comatose)
Stat Distribution: 116/55/85/107/95/30 (BST: 488)
Movepool Distributions: Teleport, Hex, Will-O-Wisp, Strength Sap, Parting Shot
Movepool Removals: None
Justification: Comatose allows Musharna to avoid status conditions, but its very able to give out its own. Thunder Wave, Will-O-Wisp, Yawn, take your pick, along with STAB Hex. It can use TPort to let its teamate in withput taking damage or Parting Shot to cripple an opposing mon. It really doesn't like Klefki or Gastro too much, but it has decent recovery in Moonlight.

Submissions are now closed! It is time to eliminate potential saboteurs.

You may vote for up to 3 users. Any user that more than half the other users voted for (so 11 votes this slate) will have their subs vetoed and will not be able to vote (they can still sign up for next slate, though). Voting will last 36 hours. As a reminder, the people this slate are:

elim:
vizar (mons look too power-creepy)
neon (lando looks hella polarizing, pex is dumb; even if theyre not sab i dont want these to be voted on anyway)
palpitoad (slowpoke might be borderline, deoxys-speed looks ridiculous, arrokuda is hot garbo)

Eliminate: NeonNitroGlycerin, PaliptoadChamp, Squwakerz

I'm 100% backing Ema's theory on Discord here.

elimination votes:
Ema Skye
Cookie Butter
EeveeGirl1380

all three have a pokemon that is normally weak to stealth rocks but gains immunity to it via Magic Guard. (ema's articuno, benis's regice, eevee's drifblim)
all three have a pokemon with some form of reducing status conditions (flapple with PH, musharna with comatose, regieleki with natural cure)
ema skye and cookie butter both have an offensive pivot with 130+ base speed (beedrill, regieleki) this is also shared with palpitoad (deoxys-s)

Eliminate:
NeonNitroGlycerin, PalpitoadChamp, Squawkerz
Hehe funny Lando-T+toxapex sub go brrr

Elimination votes, after determining Certain Suspiciousness and Sus Individuals: ViZar, NeonNitroGlycerin, Squawkerz

Okay, I think I figured out something. I'm thinking one of the prompts was about immunities. Not sure if it was "abilities that give immunities", or "2+ immunities", or something else. A pivot switches in and out. The more immunities they have, the easier it is to switch into damaging moves for free. Many pivots with many immunities might be unhealthy for the meta.
I did some counting and...
1631626841712.png
I think anaconja, Rasdanation and Squawk are potentially sus. However, if this is really the prompt, non-saboteurs also subbed things that fit the prompt without knowing, just like Slate 1.

Ema and Duo also came up with the "Shared type" theory on Discord, where the type of a Slate 1 mon is repeated in Slate 2. Guess who are sus in that theory too... anaconja, Squawk, Rasdanation, Neon and Palpitoad.

I DO think anaconja and Rasdanation are saboteurs, but it's already too late to eliminate them because they didn't receive votes up until now. And Palpitoad already received enough votes to be eliminated. Voting for those 3 at this point does nothing. With that in mind, my opinion is that there are 2 saboteurs that CAN be eliminated...

My votes: Squawkerz, NeonNitroGlycerin, ViZar

Voting ViZar in case all these theories are wrong, his subs do feel powercreep-y.

It's possible that BOTH theories are correct,as in slate 1 the Saboteurs had 2 prompts,so it's entirely possible that both are correct.
