Thinking brewers will win it all with Braun& fielder

its going to be interesting. If the brewers make it to the world serious, they dont have decent dh to play when they are away from home. Also the brewers hitting and pitching needs to get going. Axford blowing that save was shit. No one besides Braun has been playing that good offensively besides hairston jr.

You forgot Tony Walkoff.

Did anyone see him yelling profanities during Ryan Brauns interview? This guy is the new ManRam.
Lmfao my my mom was DID HE JUST SAY FUCK YEAH!?!?!. He's a good player and gets the fans into it, but when he gets fined for his stupid crap i'm sure he's going to quit the tony plush.

Ron Washington cares.

Ron Washington is gonna be smiling like that when they sweep the tigers. Honestly they have NO pitching. Verlander was supposed to be godly but was proven he wasnt, plus they have nobody behind him, its gonna be a quick alcs!

People seem to forget that A). There were two rain delays and the second one forced CJ out of the game (which was a godsend for the rangers, as he was throwing the game away). and B). The Tigers outhit the mighty Rangers offense in game 1. The Tigs beat themselves game one by not getting that one hit to drive in a bunch of runs. If Mags doesn't ground into that double play, or Avila gets that base hit of CJ minus the rain, y'all be singing a different tune (or none at all).

These guys would beg to differ. Heck, the one dude on top beat the Yankees with just a fastball.

My goodness people, it's just one game.

Yes, but are they a 123 punch for the ages. Ironic how the phillies who had 4 #1 starters seemed to lose in the first round. I dont think Fister and Max are as good as Lee/Oswalt

Sadly I have to agree with J-man, it's only one game.

Ps fucking wanker umpire, learn to call a strike zone!!!!! Kelly was gone!

If the Tigers had half the LOB they have now, we'd be singing a different tune... That goes double if we had a third base coach not named Gene Lamont... Detroit's losing because they're beating themselves, which was the only way i could conceive to be a problem.

"If the Rangers had half the amount of bad performances from starters, we'd be doing even better this series! Also if we didn't waste our chances against Valverde with bases loaded and zero out the game would've been a lot easier"

You see how fucking weak that quote of mine above parodying yours sounds. Excuses. Stop making them. The thing is, you guys did have all those LOB just like our pitchers that are starting have stunk to high heaven. Saying "IF EVERYTHING WAS GOING THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO WE'D BE WINNING" is kind of redundant and a cop out from a fan who can't admit they've been outplayed thus far. In "hypothetical land", the Red Sox are tearing it up on their way to a World Series because "if they had half the losses down the stretch then they had, we'd be singing a different tune".

That goes double if we had a third base coach not named Gene Lamont...

"That goes double if we have a manager not named Ron Washington, who pulled out Alexi "Tiger-slayer" Ogando as early as he did"

Once again, while managing does affect a match (and even though my quote is meant to be mocking, there is a hint of truth to it) a coach or manager is part of an organisation as much as the players. At the end of the day its up to the players to win but any managerial failure falls right on the organisation they are employed by. They are a part of it for better or worse and you guys seem to have done just fine with him to get to this part of the season. Even if you are unhappy with aspects of his coaching, throwing him under the bus as a crutch to stand on for being 2-0 down is weak too.
Detroit's losing because they're beating themselves, which was the only way i could conceive to be a problem.

"The Phillies lost because they beat themselves, which was the only way I could conceive to be a problem"

We all know that no matter who the world series champ is, because the Phillies were the best team on paper they are unequivocally the best team in the league despite a first round exit!! Anyway yeah cool don't give us credit or anything. More excuses because you can't handle your team being beat fair and square blah blah blah....Pathetic.

" the yankees would be winning if we didn't have a pitcher named AJ Burnett. Tigers fan, suck it up. Of course the tigers would be winning if they left less on base, thats baseball man. Anyways, since the tigers ruined my yankees, lets go texas!

Well, the Houston Astros would be destined to go to the World Series if they didn't have a terrible bullpen, they did not play in the NL Central, they kept Pencey and Mikey Bourn, if they found someone besides Bud Norris to pitch good, if they sweept the season series with the Brewers, and if they didn't suck cat ass during the season.

Sides that, Houston would be the 2012 champions, mark my words.

I'm only saying this so that ya'll will shut up about how vastly superior the Rangers supposedly are to the Tigers. This is a closer series than it actually is. This is due to the fact the Tigers aren't pushing across runners when any normal team out to be pushing across runners. The disrespect towards Justin Verlander was just sickening to me as well.

And because of those flaws of not being able to pushing across runners when any normal team would, I would say that the Rangers are indeed vastly superior.

It's like me saying that Boston would be the best team in history if they had better starting pitching. Though that might be true, they don't so they arn't. Get the logic?
